Hotellin sijainti on loistava. Remontti oli vielä käynnissä ja muutoin siistissä ja hyvin tilavassa huoneessamme oli melko voimakas maalin haju. Muuten ihan ok, kivat näkymät kerroksestamme (11). Voisi mennä toistekin.

Lontoolaiseksi hotelliksi erinomaisessa kunnossa ja siisti pikkuhotelli rauhallisella sijainnilla. Hyviä ruokapaikkoja aivan vieressä.(esim. italialainen perheen ylläpitämä San Marco ja loistavaa ruokaa tarjoava pub Sawyers Arms) Lähellä Paddingtonin rautatie / metroasemaa (n.200m). Nopea juna lentokentältä 15 minuutissa koko matka. Pieni huone mutta huippusiisti ja nykyaikainen siisti kylpyhuone. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta.

Suosittelen tätä hotellia lämpimästi, se oli hintaan nähden erittäin laadukas. Puitteet olivat hienot, sijainti hyvä (metro ja kauppoja aivan lähellä), henkilökunta ystävällistä ja avuliasta.

"Hyvä hinta-laatu suhde"
Hotellin sijainti ja hinta olivat meille ratkaisevat kriteerit kun mietimme majoittumistamme Lontoossa. Kuvissa hotelli näytti siistiltä ja sijaiti oli loistava, joten varasimme huoneen. Pääsimme kirjautumaan hotelliin jo ilmoitettua aikaa aikaisemmin ja vaikka huone oli pieni, niin oli siinä kaikki tarvittava mukavaan majoittumiseen. Huone oli siisti […] ja valoisa ja pyyhkeet vaihdettiin päivittäin. Ainoana negatiivisena asiana koimme huonon äänieristyksen huoneiden välillä, vaikka ei sekään matkaamme pilannut. Aamiainen oli Englannin tyyliin paahtoleipää ja marmeladia, kahvia, teetä, mehua ja muroja. Tämä on kuitenkin täysin tavallinen aamiainen Englannissa. Mukavaa oli myös huoneissakin toimiva WiFi yhteys, jonka avulla verkkoon pääsi missäpäin hotellia tahansa. Matkamme sijoittui jouluun, ja joulupäivänä ei mitkään yleiset (metro, bussit) kulje, joten otimme jalat alle, ja lähdimme kävelemään keskustaan. Matka ei ollut paha edes kaupunkilaiselle, ja kävellessä tuli nähytä kaikkea sellaista, jota ei muuten olisi edes huomannut. Hyde Park, Harrods ovat myös aivan kävelymatkan päässä ja älyttömän suureen Westfieldin ostoskeskukseenkin alle 10 min bussimatka. Heatrowsta hotelliin pääseminen oli erittäin helppoa, sillä molemmat ovat saman metrolinjan (piccadilly-line) varrella. Samainen linja menee myös keskustaan, joten yksinkertaisemmaksi ei kulkeminen voisi tulla. Piccadilly-line on kuulemani mukaan myös kaikkein varmasti toimivin linja Lontoossa! Suosittelen tätä hotellia niille, joille hotelli on majoittumispaikka. Luksusta etsivällle ja hotelissa paljon aikaansa viettävälle tämä ei ehkä ole oikea hotelli, mutta minä tulen varmasti tänne palaamaan! Lisätietoja

I was very disappointed. I though "garden view" actually meant something, but all we could see from our window was the back yard made of concrete. The room was small and not clean. The mattress was hard and thin and bumpy. The bathroom was awful. The walls are paper thin so when the staff comes to work at 6 am you'll hear it. No chance of sleeping after […] that. Hotelli sijaitsee näppärästi lähellä Earl's Courtin metroasemaa, josta pääsee nopeasti Lontoon keskustaan. Hotelli oli siisti, palvelu ystävällistä ja sujuvaa ja mannermainen aamiainen oli hintaan nähden hyvä. Tarjolla oli erilaisia muroja, paahtoleipää, mehuja, kahvia ja teetä. Seurueellamme oli kaksi kolmen hengen huonetta, joista toinen oli pienehkö […] ja toinen taas suurempi. Huoneet ja kylpyhuoneet olivat siistit, ja ne käytiin siivoamassa joka päivä. Molemmat huoneet ajoivat asiansa hyvin. Hotellin langaton netti oli maksuton ja toimiva. Hotellin lähellä on monia pieniä liikkeitä ja iso Tescon myymälä. Kaiken kaikkiaan hotelli oli mielestämme hintaansa nähden loistava valinta, ja saatamme hyvinkin vierailla siellä vielä uudelleen. Lisätietoja

Näppärän lähellä Earl courtin maanalasen pysäkkiä, helppo päästä victorian asemalta. Siivooja vaan oli turhankin tehokas ja heitti oman suihkugeelini roskiin ja oli hävinnyt myös hotellin oma puteli (josta osa oli käytetty). Toistekin tulen tänne hotelliin :)

This place i s cheap. Breakfast was white toast, butter or marmelade, tee and coffee fried. Orange juice from tetra-pak. Net works fine! Quite quiet, no AC. The rooms were small but clean. They kept the rooms too warm for my taste, but I prefer sleeping in a cooler room. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. As another reviewer pointed out, the shower is tiny and you have to be very careful if you don't want to end up with lots of water to mop up. "Good location for convention-goers"
It was quite helpful to be so close to the Earls Court Convention Center. Friendly staff and clean remodled room.
"Don't stay in Room 61 on Ground Floor!"
If it were not for the close proximity to Earls Court for the London Book Fair - this would have been 1 of the WORST hotels I've stayed in ... and I travel extensively for my job! My room was located just behind the small kitchen off their "breakfast area" and LOUD NOISES started around 6AM every morning! As well, the complimentary breakfast was sparse...dried […] everything except milk and juice. No yogurt of any kind nor eggs, etc. Minimally palatable. The room also seemed to be cleaned at various hours of the day... I happened to come back to the room between 2-3PM and garbage had still not been removed nor dirty cups forTea. The Cleaning Staff were nice enough but organization of room cleaning was lacking! FINALLY, I asked to have a Cab pick me up on the morning of my departure and take me to Paddington Station. It was a PRIVATE CAR SERVICE and charged me 5GBP more than the City Cab that brought me from Paddington Station to the Hotel upon arrival. As well, the CAB did not leave me in a convenient location and I was forced to drag my luggage about 10 minutes before entering Paddington Station. "Garden of eden"
Brilliant location, 3 minutes walk from Earls court. Quiet neighbourhood with a 24hr Tesco a couple of minutes away. Very pleasent personell in the reception and in the hotel generally. Breakfast was traditional toast and marmalade and some cereal. Don't expect much. overall, i would go back in a heartbeat.

"Pretty OK hotel"
All in all I'm pretty satisfied with this hotel considering the price. We got a pretty good price, and I've seen much worse in London for much more. Most things we're just fine, rooms were all right, close enough to a tube station (5 mins walk from Earl's Court), the staff in reception were all very nice and in reality there is nothing wrong with the […] hotel. The only reason I wouldn't go back is because of the cleaning staff. Had a feeling they were talking behind our backs in a foreign language, and they didn't really clean the room while we were there. They made the beds and changed the towels, and our bathroom started to smell of urine after a few days. The room wasn't dirty in any way though. Had a room with 3 single beds which wasn't very big, but enough if you're not planning on staying much in the hotel. Beds we're comfortable enough. "This place is great - my go to!!"
We stayed across town for 66 euros a night and had a lumpy bed and shared shower - not this place!! This place is clean, private shower, comfy bed. Great location off the metro at earls court which is halfway between city centre and heathrow. A must stay!
Hotel is nice given location and price. Staff are nice and friendly. Single room is very small but if you only there to sleep and take shower, you are fine. Location is very convenient. Very easy to get to central London.

"Clean and convenient"
Quality staff, very friendly and helpful. I feel we easily got our money's worth and the location is excellent for transport. We took a number of walks in the vicinity and were impressed by the area. The rooms are small but functional. Would certainly do this again.

I had a single. It was not large, but I found it perfectly suitable and cozy for one person. Tidy bathroom with shower stall and small but fully functional fixtures, single bed, overhead reading light, wardrobe (helpfully with extra pillows, these were a bit thin), chair, available outlets, free Wifi, and an easy to open window, which for me looked […] over a pleasant community park. Less than 2 blocks off the Earl Court Station which requires no train changes from Heathrow Airport, this is a clean no frills hotel with a friendly staff in a good neighborhood. Other than a slightly antiseptic smell to my room, I enjoyed my stay and thought it was well worth the price.

The Garden View Hotel, a small hotel, with small rooms works great, close to the tube, older fixures that work great. While their, make sure you talk to Terri at the front desk, she knows everything and is a god sent to this hotel. I will be returning to London again next year and will stay at this location.

Booked a single room and got a single room! To be fair there was nothing wrong with the room other than it was tiny. Bathroom was even smaller but to be facilities were adequate! "Nice neighbourhood, close to the centre"
Comfy room and smooth check in and out. The only possible issues are the amount of space in the corridors (typically English;) and quite basic breakfast (cornflakes and tosts) but these weren't any cons for me and my wife

The hotel is very close to Earl's court tube station and provides basic facilities for a budget stay. It's in a quiet courtyard facing a nice little garden. We were in a triple room sort of in the basement, a bit cold as it was snowing in London during our stay. There were no quilt, but only wool blankets for the beddings. My mum complained about it […] as it was quite chill, so I asked for another set of blankets. The breakfast is basic with toasts, jams, milk, some juice and cereals. The room is not very sound proof as I could hear the next door guests talking clearly. Consider the amount of money we pay, it provides value for money. The experience will be much better if we didn't have a a room in the basement, but I guess you get what you pay... Recommend to travellers in a budget. Good base to explore the city. Lisätietoja

There was something weird about the heating. Make sure you'll ask it when your room is way too hot. The breakfast is disappointing: just cornflakes or toast. Very good neighborhood; cheap restaurants, quiet... The price/quality is good!
