Hotel Hi Matic - Pariisi

Parasta tässä hotellissa oli ehdottomasti sijainti. Aamiainen oli parempi kuin odotin (sämpylää, jogurttia, kahviautomaatti, teetä, hedelmiä) ja kaikki luomua. Kaikki oli erittäin siistiä, ja vaikka normaalia receptionia ei ollut, sai tarvittaessa apua hyvinkin nopeasti kutsunappia painamalla. Wlan toimi muualla hotellissa, mutta huoneemme oli ilmeisesti […] jossain katvealueessa, sillä netti katkesi ovellamme. Huone oli hiljainen, naapureista emme kuulleet mitään, ainoastaan kadulta kantautuva meteli kuului sisään mutta ei häirinnyt. Huoneeseen tottuminen vei aikansa, ja alkujärkytys kesti muutaman päivän. Erillistä vessa- ja/tai suihkuhuonetta ei meidän huoneessamme ollut, vaan ne kumpikin olivat samassa tilassa kuin missä nukutaan. Pönttö sentään oli kevyillä (läpinäkyvillä ja alhaalta ja ylhäältä avoimilla) muovisermeillä erotettu omaksi nurkakseen, mutta ei tuntunut kovinkaan yksityiseltä. Suihkukoppi oli lavuaarin vieressä huoneen nurkassa, kirkkaissa laseissa oli onneksi sumennettu alaosa, tosin näin pitkällä ihmisellä se nippa nappa peitti jalat, ja kaikki siitä ylöspäin oli kirkkaasti nähtävillä. Eli riippuu matkaseuralaisten suhteesta ja yksityisyydentarpeesta, toimiiko järjestely vai ei. Lisäksi huoneen sisustus oli muutenkin erikoinen mutta toimiva, mutta huone oli pieni (kun kaksi matkalaukkua oli levitettyinä lattialle, ei lattiaa jäänyt paljoakaan näkyville ja huoneessa liikkuminen oli välillä hankalaa). Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällinen. Puhuivat myös hyvin englantia. Todella siisti ja moderni hotelli. Jos haluaa ihan erilaisen, mutta laadukkaan huoneen, niin kannattaa kokeilla! Huoneet olivat kauniita ja puhtaita! Huoneessa ei ollut jääkaappia.

Hotellin sijainti on loistava, konsepti tuore ja palvelu hyvää. Huoneet ovat melko pieniä ja sänky on futon-tyyppinen - älä siis odota mitään perinteistä! Check-in ja -out ovat itsepalvelumuodossa tietokoneella. Aamiainen on runsas ja hyvä, luomua. Suosittelen lämpimästi muille nuorille!

Really uncomfortable bed!!! A bit of a self service hotel with no one in reception to help! No hot breakfast so expect a bread roll and a banana for breakfast.. This hotel I'm sure suits some people but certainly not me!!!

No front desk so not good from the start. Rooms are decent, but very small, only a foam mattress for a bed, see through bathroom door that is only for show because you can hear everything inside. Not conveniently located, takes many subway transfers to get to main tourist sites.

Hi Matic is a nice hotel close to the Bastille area, 5 minutes walk to 2 metro station. A great market in front of it and a nice bakery next to it makes it very convenient . The hotel looks brand new, the staff were nice although some of them didn't speak any english but we managed. We were three women and it felt safe there is a lock code on the entree […] door. The breakfast was great for me but my friends didn't really like it, I guess it depends on what you like, don't expect a hot meal but its lovely organic food, bread, butter, jam, yogurt with jam, juice, coffee and tea, fruits. We had the family room it was a nice double bed and a bunk bed which was not very convenient for a 25 years old to get up to and down from in the morning but we managed. The Wifi was not so great didn't work on my phone but it did on the other two phones that my friends had, so it depends. To start, the staff were friendly.and helpful, hotel was clean and location was great, close to metro and bastille. But the room was a joke, tiny room, with our shower and toilet in the room, the shower only had frosted glass and thethe toilet was a made of wee bits of wood.and glass and was open at the top so any smell from the shower and toilet wafted […] around the room. The bed took up the whole floor, had to walk on it to get to the window or seating area and when.you managed it you were so squashed that you shouldn't have bothered. The bed is horrible. Nits just a mattress on the floor, so if you're older than 30 I wouldn't recommend it here. Room is extremely tiny along with the bathroom. The hotel is right around the corner from a strip of bars but far away from shopping district and all the great views of the city. I will not be staying here again.

I can see what they have tried to achieve with the design of this ultra modern hotel but it just does not work. It is uncomfortable. You sleep on the floor on a roll up futon style mattress and the only chair is a "poof" which collapses when you sit on it. After reading all the reviews I had set myself up for a matchbox sized room, so I actually found the room quite fine. It is small, but I knew that before booking. Hi Matic is an Awsome new experience for a 3 stars and even more.. Nice location, cozy rooms, a bit small but still practical, very clean, very Kind & helpfull staff in everything... i've been in 5 stars hotels before, after Hi MATIC i'd say it's a "Great stay" highly recomended..

The hotel itself is quite unique. I actually liked it a lot. I stayed in a mini cabane. The only real problem I had was that there is no sitting area. When I got on my laptop, I basically piled on the pillow against the wall and used my laptop in that fashion which eventually started to hurt my neck a little. At one point the elevator was broken for […] a day which was really annoying when i had to go up and down 5 flights of stairs quite a few times a day. I cant imagine if you had a big suitcase to carry.. but they did fix the elevator the next day. The elevator is super tiny. It can fit two people very uncomfortably. The breakfast was great. The neighborhood is great. I felt as if i was a local living there. It was away from touristy paris which was a nice change but conveniently located between two subway stops. The hotel describes its concept as sleeping in a cocoon where you can sleep, lounge, etc. Also to feel independent. I'm pretty young and can move very well, but I cannot sleep on the floor anymore unless I have to go camping in the great outdoors. The mats on the floor are comfortable but it makes it hard to get up all the time to turn out the lights, […] go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Their is no place to sit unless its on the floor or a cube where you sit and it smashes to the floor. Their is no one to greet you at reception so its very hard to get ahold of someone if you need help unless you go find them in the basement office where they are sitting comfortably in comfortable chairs. Also the wifi was down the four days that we were there and I brought it to their attention and the hotel person told me that it must be my computer. Although it couldnt be because I brought a computer, tablet and smartphone which could not connect because it ended up being a technical issue at the hotel. Their concept says communal lobby but noone likes feeling alone in their hotel, so unless their is a presence in the lobby, noone is going to want to feel coomunal.The hotel is clean and modern, The bathrooms are good, but their concept is not for me and probably not for any grown adult. I stayed here for a week for business and was really comfortable here. Excellent organic breakfast and a very eco-conscious hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the automatic check-in and check-out were easy to use. The hotel was as described...and it was a great option to stay in Paris on a reasonable budget. The room was very clean. Breakfast was included, and a nice way to start the day. Some of the complaints we'd read were true, but we knew what we were getting into, and it was worth slight inconveniences for the nice price. The bed was a mat/cushion on the […] floor. We found it as comfortable as a bed. Not a ton of room for bags and things, but most European hotels do not either. Bathroom was small, but again, nothing unexpected. Location is okay. We stayed at the Hotel Hi Matic for 3 nights and were extremely satisfied. We got there before the check-in time and they held our bags for us. They use a self check-in/check-out so everything is quick. The rooms may be a bit small, but they are super clean and very cool looking. Every time I go back to Paris I will be staying here!

Nice concept but not designed for an adult. If I were 13 or 14 years old, I'd love it. The rooms are clean but you must walk on the bed to get to the bathroom. There are no curtains and the airplane sized bathroom has clear windows into the room so you're visible by anyone else in the room and the people across the street. There is no place to put luggage […] unless you block the door into the room. There is a small desk that is too close to the wall and can't be moved. There is a foam stool to sit on but my weight compresses it to the floor. The hotel claims they are earth friendly yet they use paper cups and other disposables in the canteen area. There is no phone in the room and no receptionist so no way to contact people in other rooms. I had really high hopes and was deeply disappointed. Mini Cabanes have no real bed, just a mattress on a plasticized foam baseboard on the floor. Shower is inches away from your mattress, no writing area, no sitting area, showers have no place for you to put your soap or shampoo. Nicely modern, informal hotel with good ideas. The interior design is fun, even though at times a bit impractical. The "sleeping area" is great and simple. The lighting is not so great. Fantastic breakfast, and extremely nice and helpful staff. Very good value for money, and refreshingly different from normal hotels.

The hotel hi-magic is a self check, self serve mini hotel with very small rooms. The mini cabana is basically a mattress that covers almost the entire floor space of the room. The shower is right in your room as is the wash basin. If you weigh more than 175 lns and are over 6 ft tall you'll have a hard time in the shower. There was hardly any place to place your luggage nor a desk to write or a real chair in the room.but breakfast which was inclded was very good and the usual solitary caretaker very helpful and friendly. I stayed for four nights at the Hi Matic this August 2011 and I would recommend it if you are a young couple on a budget. The price on Expedia was quite reasonable - especially since we booked it last minute and it fell on a UK bank holiday weekend. The room was quite modern looking. The room was really quite small, but there was plenty of storage. It was nice to also have a room safe and an ipod dock. The room felt secure and there were lockers in reception. When we spoke to the staff they had some english and they were pleasant. The overall feel of the hotel was that it felt new and clean. I had read so many horror stories about hotels in france having bedbugs or something else unpleasant in the room that I was pretty pleased with this. The room I stayed in didn't have a bath and was right next to the stairs and the lift but I got a pretty uninterupted sleep and I thought it was pretty quiet. Très bon accueil et simplicité originale, on se sent bien immédiatement. Tout petit bémol, la télévision au ras des pieds du lit et quelques petites imperfections propreté dans la douche ... 一切自助的酒店，checkincheckout全部自助。正因为如此，checkout时我信用卡似乎被多刷了，回去我还要发email问一下确定，大概是机器的问题。房间真心很小，但是两个人睡觉洗澡还是没问题的，没有洗漱用具，不过在优惠时定的含早餐真是很不错，巴黎的餐点不便宜，我们出去玩至少早上吃的很饱还有水果，这很必要。出门走不到五分钟是地铁9号线Charonne站，坐上地铁换乘都很方便，我们从机场过去，先做机场进市区的线再换地铁，蛮快的。

Nous avons séjourne 2 nuits a l'hôtel, nous avons passé un très bon moment. Chambre "cabane" très rigolote, il manquerait juste un placard pour ranger quelques affaires... Très bon accueil de la part du personnel, pas de bruit dans l'hôtel, petit déjeuner entièrement bio très agréable. Très bon séjour.

hôtel original rien à dire là dessus ! Les chambres sont petites il ne faut pas craindre ! Les matelas des lits sont posés sur un autre matelas qui lui même est posé sur le sol. Attention donc aux personnes ayant des problèmes de dos !!! La TV est à hauteur des matelas (hauteur du sol). Point très sympa la station Ipod mis à dispo dans les chambres, […] qui vous permettent d'écouter votre musique ! Le petit déjeuner est totalement bio, il faut donc aimer les fruits, les barres de céréales, et les yahourts bio, oubliez les croissants et pains au chocolat. Pour conclure, je pense que pour apprécier cet hôtel il faut avoir garder son esprit d'enfance et passer peu de nuit dans cet hôtel sinon garde au mal de dos. Le concept est sympa et original !
