The Iberville Suites in New Orleans, La., stands within one block of Bourbon Street and is located two blocks from the St. Charles Avenue Streetcar line. For antiquing ventures, the hotel is positioned two blocks from Royal Street, renowned for its many art and antique shops that offer contemporary and historical arts and artifacts.
Hotel Features.
With its colonnaded, second-story lobby decorated with antiques and fine art, the nine-story Iberville Suites shares the historic, 1909 Beaux Arts Maison Blanche Building with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Iberville Suites guests may access Ritz-Carlton amenities including the luxury day spa, indoor pool, steam room, and fitness center. Fine dining is available at Melange, which serves classic Creole dishes and features live jazz nightly. Turn-of-the-century antiques are set against accents in pale green and gold at the On Trois lounge that offers afternoon tea on Saturdays. Gentle sounds of jazz float through The Library which features a fireplace. Complimentary buffet-style continental breakfasts are served in the grand lobby of the hotel.
Guestrooms.
This property's 230 suites feature separate bedrooms and sitting areas, antique-style furnishings and sofa beds. Beds feature pillowtop mattresses and 300-thread count sheets. Refrigerators are provided. Rooms include CD players, and high-speed wired and wireless Internet access for a fee. Marble bathrooms boast travertine sinks, rainforest showerheads and Bath & Body Works toiletries. Rollaway beds are available for a fee.

Stayed for 5 nights in July and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is near to the French Quarters and other sights, you can walk everywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitively stay here again. =)

On arrival we were met by a very friendly person on the front desk who gave us some really excellent advice about places to go and where the best music was (not on Bourbon Street). Valet parking was quite expensive but to be honest it was cheaper and less hassle than the other options in the area and was convenient for us. It was about 25 dollars a day but i can't remember exactly. It was a little disappointing that although i knew the price did not include breakfast, the hotel could not offer any "pay for" breakfast. One other small annoyance was that our room did not include a refrigerator. We did ask for one to be placed (only once) and were told that it would be, unfortunately it never was. Overall though i would say that i was quite happy with the overall experience, it was very nice to stay in this kind of old New Orleans style building.

Good location. Walking distance to French Quarters and Missisippi boardwalk. Good breakfast and generous free happy hour service. Rooms ok, although on the smaller side.

On Trois - Antiques and original art set a refined mood in this lobby lounge offering afternoon tea on Saturdays complete with sweet delicacies and a wide selection of teas. The daily light menu also features sandwiches and salads as well as wine.
The Library Lounge - Private smoking club (passes available for a surcharge). Rich wood accents and leather furnishings create a private club atmosphere in this lobby-level lounge overlooking the hotel's enclosed courtyard. A wide selection of spirits is offered, and the lounge has its own walk-in humidor. A selection of books is available for fireside reading.
Guests have access to facilities in the attached Ritz-Carlton Hotel, which is accessible via interior corridors. These facilities include an indoor resistance pool, sauna, steam room, spa tub, and fitness center (fee charged). Dimly lit rooms. first room i checked into, the toilet didn't work. the carpet in the suite living room area was wet. they sent someone quickly, and the maintenance person was helpful. Moved to a 2nd room, which had working plumbing and dry carpet, but still dimly lit. It was only a one night stay, so it was okay. I wouldn't book a long stay, though. We loved our stay here. Everyone working here were so helpful and friendly. Especially the waiters in the restaurant. Yes it was a bit expensive but it was well worth it. We did not mind paying for our dinner or valet. The hotel itself was gorgeous. We would definitely spend another night at this hotel.

"Needs renovations"
I can't give it a 4 star rating as others have due to the need for renovations. One of our rooms had furniture that was torn and the springs were coming out of the loveseat. The carpet was also badly stained. I think that in it's time it was a great hotel and could be again with room renovations. "Excellent Location, Friendly Staff"
The hotel is in an excellent location, the staff was always helpful and accomodating and the accomodations were comfortable. We found it to be an excellent hotel and would stay there again next time.

Arrived quite late at 11:35PM due to plane delays; hotel was overbooked but they were very accommodating by upgrading us to the Ritz-Carleton right next door. "Anywhere but NOLA and I'd call it a dump"
Room smelled - not able to pinpoint the aroma, but unpleasant. When walking in my bare feet, i realized much of carpet was damp, as though rugs were very recently shampooed. Based on other good reviews, I was very disappointed. The price and location of Iberville Suites are excellent. But the hotel staff and overall quality have obviously declined. "No Fun"
This stay was no fun at all for us. The staff were rude. Our room was dirty and we had to wait an extra two hours to check in. They did not tell us that valet parking was an extra $34 a day plus tax.
Over flow hotel for Ritz....so a totally fab gym! Room service needs menu upgrade in room, since no menu to work from I was specific about what I did not want on my plate (fries, bread) but it was all there. Safe area, doesn't look great and not views — but quiet. Helpful staff.

"Right off Bourbon St"
Stayed one night. Hotel is one block off Bourbon St tucked away from all the noise. Hotel well maintained and when we needed sheets for the pull out couch, they arrived within minutes. Quick valet service although a bit expensive.
We were pleased with overall experience. Close to action on Bourbon St. staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel lobby was very pretty.

I thought the location was perfect and the rooms were very clean. The rates were quite reasonable for the great location. I would for sure stay there again. Parking was a bit pricey $35.00 per day.

Only one little problem with drain in bathroom sink, but once reported it was fixed right away. The room was nice and the staff was very accomadating. Would definately stay there again.

Because of the condition of our room I would not even begin to classify it as a part of the Ritz . Our faucet dripped the whole time driving me crazy and we had stopped up toilet. They did fix that very quickly but could not repair drip in faucet. NOT THE RITZ
"French Quarter Stay"
The Iberville Suites Hotel was very accomadating. They gave us an early check in during a very busy time in the quarter. Very accomidating valets checked the car in after returning from a cruise at 9:00 am. Held our luggage and called our cell when the room was ready. We wanted to stay in the area after check out and they kept the car without additional […] charge until 5:30 in the evening after our check out of the hotel. We are used to high parking prices with working in Chicago so the $36.00 fee was not out of the question for parking. Classy, comfortable hotel - all suites-very roomy. 2 blocks to Bourbon St. & French Quarter. Very clean and the staff was one of the friendliest I have encountered. The only con I have is the excessive cost to park per day - $38 is insane - $20 at day would be a more expected rate. Definitely not a 4 star as advertised. I would go 2.5 due to bathroom cleanliness. Not what I would have expected for a 4 star. Even if in Narlins.

Time for remodeling. Mattresses and TV's need to be replaced, and everything needs a fresh coat of paint.

This hotel has a great location. The lobby is nice and includes a continental breakfast. The room carpet was filthy. The living area was very dark even with the lamps on. Having that said the area is very spacious and the bathroom has been updated.
