Excellent for the price it was. Nice, clean neighborhood of Ann Arbor near the North Campus of UofM. Buy the room for double beds because the price is about the same but more roomy. That is what I did - alone. Free room phone calls around all the USA ! I liked the simple breakfast too - it was all fresh and ok tasting even if it came out of bags...Danishes were great ( I do not usually even eat pastry). The only negative I found was that the walls are not the thickest! Ask to live in the 3rd floor and in the court yard (front side). While in town try Red Hawk's fajita salad, and Olga's Kitchen! ( I used to live here for school in the 90's and they have been around since!)

I was impressed by the room (with two large flat screen TV's) and the quality of service. Everybody was really friendly. However, three out of four lamps in the room did not work, also the air condition was inoperative. A call to the bell desk brought a technician to my room in a minute or so (very fast) and these things were fixed. The complimentary breakfast was modest, just tee/coffee, some muffins etc. The location could not be better. Both Greektown and the GM Renaissance Center are just around the block.

"Friendly staff"
Solange(I hope I got the spelling of her name right) was very helpful and very friendly as were the other front desk staff. Other than a small hiccup with their main phone line, my experience was great. They were very accomodating and allowed a guest of mine to check in early to a room next to mine. Thanks guys!

I arrived at the hotel around 930A-10A. Check-in time isn't until 3P if I am not mistaken but they were super accommodating and let me check in RIDICULOUSLY early. The room was clean, the receptionist was super friendly and talkative [which to me is great as long as it seems somewhat natural, haha] and overall it was a great experience. My only issue was I set up a morning pickup for taxi from the hotel to Michigan stadium with front desk the evening before the game. The gentlemen confirmed it was complete and come morning it was not done. On the filp side, the gal in the morning jump all over it and got us cab to leave in time. "Good pick for U of M fans"
Was a little nervous picking this hotel in what seemed like the middle of nowhere...but was pleasantly surprised. Didn't want to break the bank by staying directly in Ann Arbor so picked this hotel approximately 10 miles outside of campus for the OSU game. It was clean, staff was pleasant, great gym (by far the best hotel gym I've used), decent continental […] breakfast, fast check in/out. Hotel is located near several chains and convenience stores and the cab ride to the stadium wasn't that hideous either. Fantastic Inn. Clean, comfortable, great service. Breakfast area very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again. Only complaint (minor) was that wireless internet was somewhat spotty.

No need to look at another hotel.We found our home away from home in Belleville. The people were friendly and accommadating. The food was good. Our room was clean. Easy to get to. Not far from the people that we were visiting. We never used the health room or pool, but was clean and appeared nice. Plenty of parking.

"Experience at Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Bellv"
Everything was fine at check-in. However, I couldn't sleep most of the evening of first night (5/14) up to 1: 00 AM in the morning due to the noise level and fighting in the hallway by some irresponding youths.

A bit of a way outside of town if you were looking to stay in Ann Arbor as I was. Very freindly staff, very comfortable and modern rooms. Breakfast bar was outstanding with ommelletes and great cinnamon rolls.

My husband and I came with our 5yr old and 8mth old daughters and the hotel was very friendly towards them running around the hotel and at the great breakfast they served. It was clean and easy to get around and very close to the off ramps. Our only problem was that the pool turned my daughter's bathing suit yellow along with my new suit.
