The Aqua Aloha Surf Waikiki is located three blocks from Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Honolulu Zoo stands one-half mile away. The Waikiki Aquarium is two miles from the hotel.

Hotelli oli hyvällä paikalla Waikiki turisti alueella, 4min kävelymatka rannalle ja lyhyt kävelymatka isoon Ala Moana ostoskeskukseen. Hyvät kulkuyhteydet julkisilla kulkuyhteyksillä. Hotellin välittömässä läheisyydessä oli paljon pieniä kauppoja ja ravintoloita. Hotellissa oli erittäin hyvä ja palveleva henkilökunta, huoneiden siivous oli erittäin hyvää. Huoneissa ei ollut WLAN-yhteyttä mutta siellä oli tarjolla kiinteä netti-yhteys, mutta vastaanotossa oli ilmainen WLAN yhteys käytettävissä. Hotellista on kylpyläosuus poistunut joulukuussa 2011. Kaikinpuolin hyvä hotelli ja vastine rahoille.

Kerrassaan mahtava hotelli ja ympäristö! Hotellin Luau-show oli hieno kokemus ja ruoka oli hyvää. Mukavat uima-altaat varsinkin paradise-pool liukumäkineen todella ihana allas lapsille! Ranta muutaman askeleen päässä. Miinusta tulee ainostaan Rainbowtowerin hissijärjestelmästä jossa olisi hiukan parantamisen varaa.

Hotellin sijainti hyvä, jos pitää rauhallisemmasta ympäristöstä. Huone tilava, kalustus kulunut, mutta siistissä kunnossa. Aamiainen syödään seisaaltaan pienessä tilassa. Iso ostoskeskus Ala Moana shopping center 400 m (löytyy kaikkea pikkuliikkeistä, design putiikkeihin ja tavarataloihin kuten Macy's ja Sears), Waikiki beach 400 m (ranta kivikkoinen, hyvä olla uimakengät jalassa), Waikiki keskusta n. 700 m. Hotelli oli hyvä hinta-laatusuhteeltaan.

"Pretty good"
Room was small but it was what we expected considering the low nightly cost of our stay. We were just looking for a place to crash at night, since we planned to go out for the entire day. One of my complaints is our sliding bathroom door was not working well and often come off its plastic hinge on attached to the floor. We notified the front desk which […] had someone fix it, but after a few uses, the door did not slide smoothly again, so we just tolerated it and dragged the door to close it. The other complain is low availability of parking spots. There's a waitlist system that requires you to wait until the following morning to inquire about availability of parking spots for that day. "Cheap, small and loud"
I was here one night, and that was enough. Like many people, I booked the 'cheap' room rate, which put me on the 3rd floor in a single. A higher floor would have cost more at the desk (something obviously not mentioned beforehand). It was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen in the US; just enough space for a full sized bed (not a queen) and a dresser […] with a microwave on top. No desk. No chair, and no space for one. It was also on a loud street next to a parking lot. Fortunately, I had come in on a redeye and with earplugs was able to sleep, since at least the bed was decent. Kai. One of the agents on duty was very accommodating and helpful with check in. We asked for the latest check out he cold give and he made it happen along with the holding of our luggage so that we can walk around before our flight back. It worked out perfectly that we checked in on Tuesday. Which so happens to be the General Manager's Cocktail Hour. […] The complimentary "Wipe Out" cocktail was delicious and welcomed after such a long flight. They rolled off every part of the palette perfectly. Staff was extremely helpful with directions, information, and suggestions. If you're looking for luxury. The Aqua Aloha Surf Waikiki is not for you. The room was small and cozy. The bed provided a good nights sleep. Good pressurized shower. Descent view from balcony. I wasn't looking to hang out in the room anyway. We arrived in the middle of a downpour around 1pm - early for check-in and our room was not ready, but the front desk immediately got on the radio, talked with housekeeping and found a room in our category that was ready so we could get to our room right away. Liked the hotel it was affordable and very close to all the clubs we visited, room was a decent size, one queen and a twin plus the pull out bed in the couch. Desk service was horrible. Room wasn't ready and not what I reserved. They said it was a last minute reservation but it was confirmed hours before.

The hotel was good. Service from the reception desk wasn't the best esp times when there's just one person there (had to wait at least 20 mins one time). Make sure you're remote control is working coz if the maintenance guy is gone, no one will fix it for you til he comes back the next day. Just a few blocks from Waikiki beach so convenient location. My husband and I stayed at the the Aqua Aloha Surf and Spa for a total of three nights. The hotel was clean with friendly and helpful staff. Even though we couldn't see the beach from our room, we could did have gorgeous view of the mountainside. The hotel did offer massage and other spa services, but only by appointment. Mid-ranged hotel of very decent quality aqnd very centrally located near Waikiki Beach, with lots of amenities close by. Rooms are clean and comfortable but the air-condition is rather old and rust at the exterior. Breakfast is very limited. Overall, a very comfotable stay if one is not too picky of exceptional quality and service.

We were staying in Honolulu for two nights and didn't want to go crazy in terms of splurging for a hotel roo. After some research, I decided to go with the Aloha Surf and Spa Hotel as I had read good things about it. The price was low and the service was fantastic. Craig and Ofelia were so nice, and they just seemed so happy to go around the lobby, giving out chocolates and pouring their signature cocktails into empty glasses. Our room was great, and much to our surprise came with a microwave, coffee pot, and fridge. The location of the hotel is wonderful as well - just a few blocks from the main shopping streets, and a half a block from a beautiful canal that is perfect for jogging along. Everything is near by, which is what I look for in a hotel. Combine it with the price, and you've got a winner. The only minor setback is the breakfast - it is $4.95 for some pancakes, muffins, toast, and oatmeal. Personally, I dont think it's worth the price. If it was complimentary, then that would have been great. But given the small selection, I'd go elsewhere for breakfast. This hotel in Hawaii has a friendly staff, clean rooms and overall is a good pick. It is a little expensive, but what hotel in Hawaii in the summer is not. The staff is what sets it apart.

Free internet in the rooms if you ask for a cable at the front desk (no wifi in the rooms), a free beach towel, comfortable beds, and safes and pretty decent lobby area. Lobby well designed and furnished, but not the same in the guest rooms. The room I stayed in was cramped. The door of the bathroom was a sliding door that didn't fit well. On the 2nd night the air-conditioning unit didn't work. I told the front desk and they sent a security guy up to inspect it. He determined that the fuse was blown, but didn't know […] where the fuse box was and said the engineer was not in and so couldn't fix it. "perfect for what you pay for"
Not a lot of thrills or extra amenities (small pool and 2 machines that barely count as a "workout room" ) BUT for the price it was clean, good location, very helpful and friendly staff. I was especially happy with how easily the staff accommodated me with an early check in and even a slightly later checkout.

This hotel was clean and in a good location, but it definitely was outdated and not as nice as I was anticipating. If you enjoy nicer hotels, spend the extra $30 to go with something else. Not a bad experience, just a little disappointed.

We slept with the all the windows open, but with the hotel being on a busy street it got a little loud. "Perfect Place"
Good value for the money spent. Excellent location, very comfortable, clean and great facilities and close to beach. Large ABC store on the corner of the block, and a supermarket on the far side of an open carpark. Coin laundry in the basement and free beach towel exchange service very handy. Biggest downside was traffic noise was very loud sometimes […] (big diesel buses idling in front of hotel or emergency vehicle's sirens were very loud.) We were in room 611 - low and facing the street. I would think higher up or on the opposite side of the building would be quieter for the lite sleepers. not sure if I would stay here again, when I checked in on the first day, I was standing at the counter for about 10 minutes before anyone said anything to me! They all had their heads down and looking at the computers. Then they give me a room that was just painted! The parking is really tight, and if the garage is full, you need to park in the lot […] next to the hotel (when I checked in they did not tell me that, I figured it out on my own!). The employees park in the garage as well. The breakfast is NOT free, I tired charging it to my room, but the front desk said there was no credit card on file because I booked it thru expedia! They had pancakes, toast, oatmeal, and sliced fruit. The staff that was serving us the pancakes did not speak any English. There was very limited seating. The pool is pretty small. the bed was ok, our sheets had a whole bunch of yellow stains! and so did our towels! House keeping come at random hours of the day. The fridge in our room smelled bad. There were a lot of black spots inside if air conditioner in the room. Our room curtains had a lot of holes.
