Stayed here thinking that it would be a quality experience. Far from it, there wasn't a mini-fridge, the noise from the adjoining room was awful, they deactivated my keycards after the first night of a 3 night stay, had to drive to get to anything of interest and parking was inconvenient. While not to the point of rudeness, the front desk staff were […] less than enthusiastic, and leery of me, like they thought I would be cooking meth in their hotel. I am not convinced that they actually cleaned my room other than emptying the trash bins and the toilet clogged on the day I checked out (luckily). The condo was cold unless the furnace was actually running. The blanket I pulled out of the closet was ripped up. The condo itself was like walking in 1981 - it was so outdated from the appliances (coffee maker was broken too), wall paper peeling off the walls, dirt blown all around the vents showing a lack of maintenance, there were worms in the bathroom. […] It was disgusting! I picked this hotel for a weekend getaway because of it's price and where we wanted to stay. We had a junior suite and it was very nice, especially for the money we paid. Room service, restaurant and bar were nice. All staff very friendly. Only problem was that the pool was closed our second day there, but that was something that was beyond the hotel's […] control. The room (jr. suite) was pretty spacious, and the view of the golf course area was ok, but inside the room there were areas of sheetrock on the ceiling and walls that were peeling off and coming down, some in the main area, but mostly in the bathroom. The shower wasn't very nice; hot water didn't run out, but the spray from the showerhead was about […] at a 70 degree angle which was a bit irritating. When we arrived for check-in, the desk clerk was pretty condescending and only mildly helpful, although I got some helpful info on the phone later when asking about dining options. The hot tub/pool area (indoors mind you, w/ no rooms adjoining or close by) closes at 8 p.m., which to us seems ridiculous. It's a huge complex, so it's possible we didn't have one of the better suites, but although it wasn't a horrible stay, too many inconvieniences and not that nice so probably won't stay there again. We stayed there the year before for New Years and this time brought family friends. We all enjoyed it. The pool is awesome! Looked like they were making some updates to the hotel and coat of paint. Worth the money. Convenient to restaurants and grocery store. The king size suite was much nicer than the double queen room we stayed in.

Our stay at Country Club Hotel and Spa was ok - nothing spectacular. It was a real downer that the weekend we chose to be there, a bunch of college-aged kids also chose to be there for a weekend of drinking as much alcohol as possible. Luckily, I only heard them a handful of times at night, so we were able to sleep --- they didn't keep us up all night, […] which I was really concerned about. I think the worst thing here was the shower. I probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again just because the shower sucked so bad! The water just trickled out, and there was no way to adjust it. Property is very run down and in major need of upgrades. Carpets, walls, doors, elevators, hot tub, locker rooms, all in poor condition.

This hotel was rated as three star. The condition of the furniture was somewhat poor. The restaurant was not open. There was a broken window in swimming pool area that was duct taped. The hotel appeared somewhat nice but dated.

The hotel was very active with a Hospital Ball. This caused the spa and indoor pool to close at 5pm instead of their usual 8pm. This was inconvenient for 'regular' guests. There seemed to be a need for paint in areas that were looking a bit 'seedy'. The buffet breakfast was a little slow to respond to a large group that were needing food. The hotel is very outdated. The quilt on the bed was very old and faded. The hot tub jets by the pool did not work. The pool tables certainly had seen better days. It was very good. The only detraction was the bathroom shower tile. It was patched. Otherwise the room was excellent.

Normally we stay in one of the condos on the property, but stayed at hotel for a couple of nights because of no availability. Staff was fine, but hotel overall is in poor shape;-ice machines that don't work, overall neglect of upkeep is quite obvious.

The price was reasonable. The pool area was in really bad need of repairs. All of the railings were falling down and were being braced to keep them up. The carpets were stained in the hallways on the 2nd level to get to room 2021. But !!!! that did not keep us from having an awesome time. I would do it again

The location was nice. However, the room was a different story. There was soap scum and mold in the bathtub. The carpets were heavily stained. The walls were dirty and marked up. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Looks good from the outside but the inside is another thing altogether. Our room was completely outdated and ugly with several things in the room broken, ripped etc.

So Disappointed :( the drive in, lobby and staff was/were amazing.. the room? not so much. the door looked like a dog had scratched all over it. walls werent painted in the hallway. the room was outdated in regards to the furniture and decorations. the tv was old and confusing. the bed was uncumfortable, the shower head was aweful.. i have long thick […] hair and i couldnt get all the shampoo out from the trickle of water. the neighbors decided that 2am was the time to express their feelings for eachother. the walls were paper thin. there were so many things that could be easily fixed with CLR cleaner and modern updates.. room 2021 was aweful. i came there with my hunny and the money we spent was too much for this place. i dont expect any hotel to be "perfect" as 1000s of people go in and out of them but this hotel room and rate was unexcusable. however the staff was friendly and helpful wth restaurant suggestions etc.. id rather have stayed in a chain hotel. Hotel was clean and room was comfortable. Furnishings were nice. The building itself was showing wear and tear, balconies could use new paint. Overall, I would stay again.

This hotel was probably real nice at one time. There are signs that they are trying to fix it up, but there are paint and drywall splotches all over, the decor is from 1982 and the beds are from 1882. Sheets are thin, thin, thin. Funny smell too. T.V. in bathroom did not work, but then again it looks like something from the Red Skelton era of network […] TV. We've stayed here many times over the years and the hotel is badly in need of redecorating. Bedspreads, carpets, towels were just in need of updating. Our breakfast in the restaurant was good and service very good. Our bathroom had very thin towels and our blanket was very old and thin. The ice maker on our floor was not working and dripped all the […] time. I was told that maintenace was working on it but I didn't see anyone around. We never used room service and there was black mold on the patio carpet. the patio furniture was 4 cheap chairs and no table. The wall paper was peeling off the bathrooms and there was a hole in the guest room shower. The kitchen lights over the table did not work and the bottom grill of the fridge was not present and it was filthy underneath.

We had a short stay at the hotel. for the most part, accommondation were good. there lack a microwave in the Junior suite and DVD player. The TV was not a flat screen and failrly small for the size of the room. The staff was very friendly and competent. This is not a kid friendly resort, mainly for adults. there is a resturant on site.

Room was dirty and there were holes in the walls. Also the phone in the room was comming apart. The face plate was comming off and there were wires sticking out. The light covers in the kitchen were broken and the furniture was very worn out. Very dissapointed.

I was pretty disappointed in the service at the hotel as well as the upkeep of the property. We made a notation with the online booking agent so they knew we needed in early if possible due to having an infant. There was no notation in their records and we had to wait 90 minutes to get in. The phone in our room worked, however Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. we were unable to get anyone to answer at the front desk, bell hop, or room service. We did not have clean towels on Friday and we were requesting them. Finally my husband walked over to the main building and requested towels.

This place would be great... in 1989. It was dreadfully dated, but I was pleased that it was quiet and that the rooms were very clean. And my husband just chimed in that the place smelled like old ladies.

Room was large, clean and comfortable. Walls are thin could hear our neighbors three different times at different times through the night, this kept my wife awake. Someone yelling about one in the morning trying to get into a room. Otherwise good.
