Erittäin hyvä aamiainen ja ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Kadulla häiritsi liikenteen melu ja kovalla vaihdilla ajatvat pyöräiliät. Sisäpihan puoleinent huoneemme rauhallinen ja viihtyisä.

Viihtyisä, pieni hotelli vilkkaan Potsdamer Strassin varrella. Runsas aamiainen. Hotelli kodikas. Sisustettu mukavasti vanhoilla esineillä. Huone tilava, siivottiin joka päivä. Henkilökunta ystävällistä, puhuivat englantia.

Henkilökunta on ystävällistä ja englanninkielen taitoista. Rakennus ja tyyli vanhasta pitävälle. Aamiainen kiitettävän monipuolinen. Liikenteen melu liikennevalojen rytmissä ja hotellikansio vain saksaksi olivat miinusta.

Hotelli oli siisti, aamiainen oli hyvä ja riittävä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä, sijainti mainio lähellä keskustaa ja lähellä metroasemia. Turvallinen liikkua. Lähikauppa vieressä. Tarvittaessa laukkujen säilytys respan yhteydessä.

This was nice small hotel/guestroom. Room was good and bed was big and good. Only toilet was quite small. Location was o.k. About 25min drive from Tegel airport, bus stop next to hotel and U-bahn station about 10 min walk. Potsdamer Plazt was walking range(about 15min walk). Servive was friendly and they speak english. Another guests was mostly german […] vivitors. Breakfast was average, not so great, cornflakes and bread and coffee but u can fill your stomach. One big disappointment was to notice that internet network can use only hotel lobby. I was expecting to have that in room, but if want to use wlan in room they charge 7€/30min, and connection was very poor. But if u like small quiet place this might be one choice for u. The hotel has a theme: "old Berlin", so it's not the typical modern "standard" hotel. Practical note: even if there is an elevator, you'll still need to climb quite a few stairs to get to the room's level at any floor, so if that's a problem for you, beware (or pack lightly ;-) The breakfast is good, the internal restaurant is nice (closed on sunday […] evening), free WiFi internet (good speed) but (in my room) no desk... I had to work with the laptop... on my lap. The location is good even if not stellar: the nearest U/S Bahn stop is 10 minutes walk away, but being in the smack middle of the city means you can get anywhere quite easily. I was on a business trip so I missed a desk and can't quite comment on the location from a tourist's point of view, but I guess it's a very good location in that sense. Lisätietoja

Advantages: The hotel has other advantages and charms, but I would recommend staying here based on the breakfast alone. No other hotel we have ever (evah) stayed had such a fine breakfast. Even more incredible is that the breakfast is included in the reasonable room rate. First of all, the breakfast area is incredibly quaint and ornate, a perfect location, […] especially for a romancing couple (Fall romance as it were). Of course the best part was the food. It is served buffet-style, but the selection and quality are beyond comparison. There are fresh delicious croissants, hot scrambled eggs, toast, yogurts, teas of every kind, milk, juices, bacon, fine deli meats, nutella-type spreads, marmalade, coffee, and more. Every time we ate breakfast there we had trouble leaving under our own power. We found the wifi extremely fast and reliable. Disadvantages: The beds, as many complain with Europe in general, were two single mattresses put together – with separate bedding! This was, of course, less than ideal for a young romantic couple. A crack (crevice) is formed between the two mattresses. It’s a little difficult not to wind up with your head stuck in the crack. Separate garage for parking. You need to ask for the gate key each time. You pay an extra charge as well. Oddly, the elevators don’t quite make it to your floor but stops between floors. A small and friendly Hotel in the centre of Berlin, that makes you feel welcome "home". The street just outside the Hotel, Postdamer Strasse, might not be the nicest. But it's got a friendly Pub just down the street and Wintergarten Variety Show is close by and well worth a visit. Stayed 4 nights in lovely room overlooking courtyard. Decorated and furnished in style of 1900s Germany but with all mod cons. Excellent service, clean room, excellent breakfast. Location good - takes 25 mins to walk to Brandenburg gate and u-bahn and bus stops very close. Ideal, excellent value

An old world hotel in a city of modern ones. If you want a taste of old-fashioned Germany, give this one a try. It's a bit of a walk from the Postdamer Platz station - about 20 minutes, but our room was great for the price (w/breakfast included). It was large with a canopied bed, chaise lounge, and a modern bathroom with a tub shower, but it was on […] the first floor overlooking busy Potsdamer Strasse, so it was a bit noisy all night long though my earplugs helped. Not sure if the windows are double paned, so ask for a room at the back or up on a higher floor or bring earplugs. The hotel has 24 hour desk and a computer with internet access in the lobby (painfully slow though). We also ate at the restaurant/bar in the hotel the night we arrived. It has a very cosy old european ambiance, especially on a rainy night. We enjoyed the schnitzel special and heard the chef pounding the meat from the kitchen! It was delicious, especially washed down with a few cold beers. Even better it stays open late - to 10pm, so we had a chance to take a walk up to the Brandenburg Gate and stroll up the Unter Der Linden to visit the Pergammon museum on that Thursday night before we ate, without having to resort to fast food. It was also pretty convenient to get to the Tegel Airport from here. The bus to the Hauptobanhof leaves from right outside the hotel and connects you to the TXL express bus in less than ten minutes. Great HOTEL, Great STAFF, Great PRICE, Great LOCATION. To be honest can't complain about any aspect, and if I will ever go back to Berlin I will probably book the same place.

I really don't want to recommend this hotel because it may not be available the next time I want to stay there. I just love it! Everything from the 1900-1920's decor to the lovely, charming staff (several in charming, old-fashioned uniforms) to the deliciously comfy down pillows and quilts and 12' ceilings. Very different to most hotels today. Lots of artifacts all over the hotel. My room was not particularly large but adequate. Food good(without being exceptional). Dining in courtyard if weather suitable. Would suggest not suitable for wheelchair users. Bus stop right outside hotel which would take you to a lot of the attractions. Nice room, nice service, very nice breakfast, good price. Very noisy room on the main road, so unable to open windows - this meant a very hot room with no aircon and some discomfort. But you could (and should) ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Curious location, 10 minutes walk from Potsdamer Platz - if you like to shop and go to the cinema then […] this is ideal. I would certainly stay in this hotel again. Once I had found my way around Berlin I realised that the location was pretty much ideal...on school half term I did not want to be surrounded by holiday crowds and the hotel had a lot of German people staying there which was to me a good sign. I enjoyed the food at the end of long sightseeing days and found […] the room comfortable. It is located on a main road which makes it easy to find. We stayed at the Altberlin in Aug 2009. The Staff was friendly, was willing to answer any questions and provided tourist info as needed. The room had the basics and it was clean and neat. It was a true stroll into old Berlin with a wonderful open courtyard. Our room windows opened up to this courtyard. At 3 a.m., we were awakened by the VERY LOUD noise […] of dishes and silverware being washed, stacked and readied for breakfast. This noise continued until abruptly at 4 a.m. when they had finished. An unexpectedly quiet hotel, given its location on a busy road. It has a lot of charm, and the staff were extremely pleasant. The restaurant was good - fast service, good food and reasonable prices, given how expensive Berlin is. This is an ideal hotel for people wishing to visit the Kulturforum as it's only 10 minutes walk. Good bus service too.

Vi havde 3 dejlige dage i Berlin. Hotellet er gammelt men i god stand. Badeværelserne er flotte og nyrenoverede. Morgenmaden var rigtig lækker. Der var æg, bacon, croissant, forskellig slags yoghurt, frugt, müsli, brød og stort udvalg af pålæg, samt juice, kaffe og the i flere forskellige varianter. Receptionen var åben 24/7 og personalet var meget […] hjælpsom. Der er ca. 500 meter til nærmeste U-bahn og 2 forskellige busser har stoppested lige foran døren - bogstavlig talt - som kører hver 10 min til centrale steder i byen. Godt fornøyd med hotellet. Flott frokost, hjelpsomme.

God service hele vejen gennem opholdet. Gode engelsktalende medarbejdere. Lækker morgenmadsbuffet. Hyggelige værelser i gammel stil. Kommer gerne igen næste gang jeg er i Berlin. Gå-afstand til seværdigheder og u- & s-bahn.

Hotellet ligger dejlig centralt, - i gåafstand til Potsdamer platz. Der er hyggeligt, rent og pænt, selvom især fællesområderne nok kunne trænge til lidt vedligeholdelse. Personalet taler engelsk, og er meget imødekommende. Morgenmads buffeten er rigtig god! :)

Plusser: Meget let at komme med bus til alle centrale seværdigheder. God morgenmad og WiFi nternet inkluderet. God restaurant på hotellet og gode spisesteder i gåafstand. Meget venligt personale. Hyggeligt hotel med den lidt kiksede indretning. Minusser: Elevator kører ikke helt til etagerne, derefter trappe. Der kan være kø ved morgenmaden.

Fin stemning, ok værelser med bad, god morgenmad. Desværre en del støj fra gaden. P-hus med hotel-p-pladser lige ved siden af hotellet til rimelig pris. God beliggenhed i gåafstand til mange vigtige seværdigheder og indkøbsmuligheder.

Fint hotel med ca. 20 min. gang til alle serværdigheder. Skøn morgenmad. En del støj fra gaden, der dog kunne mindskes ved et par ørepropper. Lige over for hotellet ligger der en skøn restaurant. Alt deres mad bliver grillet og det smager dejligt og er ikke dyrt.

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Goede service. Prima ontbijt. Jammer de buurt waar het Hotel is gelegen. 's Nachts veel lawaai van drukke weg voor het Hotel.

Vi har boet 2 gange på hotellet. Det er et rigtig hyggeligt hotel med flink personale. Hotellet har en god beliggenhed. Morgenmaden er også rigtig god. Dog kunne det være godt med lidt bedre madrasser i sengene. De virker noget slidte. Vi har været glade for at bo på hotellet, og kommer måske et tidspunkt tilbage :)

Perfekt beliggenhed tæt på Potsdamer Platz. Hotellet er indrettet i typisk klassisk stil, og meget charmerende. Hotellet har parkeringskælder. Perfekt hvis man er kørende i egen bil. Personalet er venligt og imødekommende. Vi tøver ikke med at bruge dette hotel igen, ligesom vi gerne anbefaler det til andre.

zentrale Lage "Club" gegenüber- ungünstig --> laute Nacht sehr schönes Frühstück "alte Einrichtung" (passend zum Name) gefiel uns

3 overnatninger, hyggeligt hotel, lidt slidt, men pænt og rent gode værelser og stille nabolag. Busser lige uden for døren. Tæt ved Ubahn stationer med gode forbindelser. God morgenmad- man får meget for pengene.

det som står i beskrivelesen av hotelet må tas med en klype salt.' Skal gjester få rett info om hotellet så er det en fordel om man også viser bilder fra de minste rommene, for de e SMÅ. Dit hotel is in zijn soort bijzonder. De oude stijl is consequent doorgevoerd, tot aan kleding van kamermeisjes. Echter, het onderhoud laat veel te wensen over. Kleine bedden en alles behoorlijk stoffig, met ter compensatie een enorme boenwas (pledge?) lucht, die je de adem benam. Het -weinige- personeel dat er is, is uitermate vriendelijk. De ligging […] op loopafstand van Potsdammerplatz is prima. De directe omgeving is wat unheimisch. Al met al was het voor ons -moeder en 18-jarige zoon- geen goede keuze.
