Franklin Central Apartments - Adelaide

We were given a free upgrade to a 2 Bed Apt.which made our 4 night stay very comfortable as suitcases do take up alot of room..... thankyou. Front desk staff very good, happy & helpful.. Could walk to Central Markets [ a must do] Coles supermarket, Rundle Mall, Tram to Glenelg,Gourgers Street where all the restaraunts are & also went on Taste of Barossa […] day trip. Close to the Gouger St. dining strip, the Central Markets, and an easy walk to Rundle Mall shopping. Pretty quiet, friendly, helpful staff. Possibly could be more child friendly - no bath, high chairs available for hire but quite expensive, bedroom a bit small for a portacot. Overall happy stay.

Construction opp. Very noisy.

Stayed 3 nights and were given free upgrade to 2 Bed apartment as we arrived before check in time and our designated apartment wasn't ready. Then spent two nights on the Murray river and reception volunteered to look after our excess luggage and any food we had - great! We then returned for 6 further nights - this time in our booked one bed aprt . Still […] a good size though. Reception were very friendly and helpful, and booked us on a few tours. The building looks a little dated from the outside and the entrance is off a side street, but inside it is clean, modern and secure. Very helpful staff; excellent location and well-equipped, comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay again; small downside, difficulty in getting traction to exit the garage!

As the name suggests, Franklin Central Apartments is a building very close to the centre of Adelaide. It's therefore close to offices, restaurants and cultural attractions. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, with a small kitchen for preparing meals. A good range of TV programs are offered, including two movie channels. Very reasonable rates.

Just OK. Positives were location, well equipped & clean. Negatives were tiny bedrooms & poor sound insulation between apartments

The staff were most accommodating and helpful. There were 4 of us and we found that the location of the accommodation was good, close to the shops and transport and not overly expensive. We would definitely return to this accommodation.

Staff very friendly and helpful. However technology needs updating - clock radio did not work and most TV channels were unwatchable due to "snow" on the screen.

This is suitable if you are after a cheap location to stay in the center of Adelaide. It seems to be quite gloomy inside the building and in your room, not much natural light. It didn't help having the construction sight across the road. People at reception were really nice but i think I would pay a bit extra next time and book elsewhere.

We were extremely satisfied with our accommodation at Franklin Apartments. Location was ideal, within walking distance of transport, markets, shopping and good selection of dining places. Right at center of the . Very thing right at your foot step

great location and did not require rental car until we departed for Adelaide Hills and Barossa,great markets and shopping, wonderful art gallery and generally fell in love with Adelaide and its wonderful buildings. We shall return again one day especialy to Franklin Apartments.

Super accomodation in one bedroom apartment with self catering facilities. Close to main square, central markets and resturants. Secure parking underneath building at reasonable charge. Excellent value and would highly recommend.

The apartment was in great condition, had everything we needed and was good value overall. It was in a great location, close to Chinatown, shops, Rundle Mall. The only downside was paying extra for parking.

Einrichtung gut, modern und gepflegt. Aufteilung der Appartements jedoch so, dass die Schlafräume keine Lüftung und auch keine Klimaanlage haben.- Sehr stickig und beengend. Nur über die Klimaanlage im Wohnbereich ist Kalt- / Frischluft verfügbar. Blick direkt auf nahegelegene Hauswand, da mitten in der Innenstadt und Strasse sehr schmal.

Franklin Central Apartments is very near to the Central Market, China Town and Gouger Street. It is also at a short walking distance to the Rundal Mall and the tram station at the Victoria Square. It is convenient for shopping and dining. Although it is a rather old apartment hotel, a two-bedroom apartment is good enough for my family of four adults […] to spend our holiday comfortably. The small kitchen are equipped with essential cutlery for simple cooking. Amelia at the reception is very friendly and helpful. The drying machine was not functioning properly but the problem could be fixed in the same day. If I go to Adelaide again, I will surely consider Franklin Central Apartments. Lisätietoja

l'ambiance est gachée par un manque de soucis du détail, le sofa sur lequel doit dormir les enfants était cassé les housses de coussin trés sales et usées, le robinet de l'évier de salle de bain fuiait, pas de chambre faite tous les jours alors que le prix ne varie pas s'il on reste meme 3 jours
