Kaupungin Auckland sydämessä sijaitseva Rydges Auckland on kävelymatkan päässä kohteista Sky Tower ja Queen Street Shopping District. Lähistöllä ovat myös Aucklandin yliopisto ja Aucklandin kaupungintalo.

Hotellissa Rydges Auckland on kuntokeskus ja kuntokeskus tai -sali. Yleisillä alueilla on langaton ja langallinen nopea Internet-yhteys (maksullinen palvelu). Vierashuoneet.
Rydges Aucklandn 267 ilmaistoidussa huoneessa on minibaari ja tallelokerot. Vieraat voivat käyttää lisämaksusta huoneessa langatonta ja nopeaa langallista Internet-yhteyttä. Televisioissa on maksulliset elokuvat. Huoneissa on työpöydät, ilmainen sanomalehti ja puhelin sekä ilmainen vastaajapalvelu. Kylpyhuoneissa on suihku / amme-yhdistelmä, hiustenkuivaaja ja hygieniatuotteet (sisältyvät hintaan).
Huoneissa on jääkaappi and kahvin-/teenkeitin. Lisäpalveluihin kuuluvat silitysrauta / -lauta ja avattavat ikkunat. Lisäksi vierashuoneissa on saatavissa pyydettäessä: turndown-palvelu ja allergiatestatut vuoteet.Tarjolla on siivouspalveluita: päivittäin. Mukava aloittaa lomareissu tällaisesta hotellista. Sijainti sopivasti sivussa, mutta kuitenkin lähellä keskustaa ja bussit menivät n. 200m päästä. Henkilökunta avuliasta ja erittäin ystävällistä. Huoneet perussiistit, mutta suomalaisittain toivomista siivoamisessa.

Todella hyvä, siisti ja toimiva hotelli Aucklandin keskustassa Skytowerin läheisyydessä. Kadun vaatimaton kyltti ei anna oikeutta hotellille, jonka edulliset sviitit ovat erinomainen majoituspaikka perheelle tai ystäväpariskunnille. Kaksi makuuhuonetta, kaksi kylpyhuonetta, hieno baarikeittiö, asianpesukone, pyykinpesukone, iso parveke jne. Naapurin backpacker-kahvilassa saa erinomaisen edullisen aamiaisen.

Another Rydges-reliable hotel - clean, well-appointed, no surprises. The only advice I'd give regarding this hotel is the wisdom of staying in Auckland - which is in no way a criticism of the hotel. If you've got to be in Auckland, for work for example, then stay at this hotel. We had a one night stay and in the rush of checking out I left my mothers eternity ring behind, rang as soon as we disembarked from our flight and the concierge quickly took the details and returned my call a short time later to say ring found and mailed it straight off, much to my relief. "My 2 Cents"
The place is central to all from Shopping at Queen street, about 5 minutes walk to the water, all conviently located. Staff are all super friendly, even the concierge from Morroco was helpful and knowledgeble on the areas and the trips. I only have 2 issue with the hotel. To flush your toilet, you have to push this hard bottom in and it took a while […] to flash. Inorder to work well have the faucet going, but this is waiste of water. When I check out of the hotel they charge me $4.00 on the compliment coffee with does not make sense and did not want to argue this time. "Central, easy to find, efficient service, clean"
Centrally located, easy to navigate from and used the sky tower as a point of reference as it was next door. Cafes and parks short walk. Rooms were newly refurbished along with the lobby area. Convenience store located just outside hotel. Convenient, efficient, clean.
"Rydges Hotel, Auckland"
I think the hotel has recently been redecorated. My room had all the up to date bits and pieces that make a stay comfortable. Particularly good was the modern shower/bathroom - in fact it was a wet room with a powerful shower. An excellent hotel for an overnight stay - I'm not sure what it would be like for more than one night.

Clean and safe. Updated and near Queen street and everything downtown. I could not be happier. I only stayed one night and got a great rate. I will be back again. I could see the Sky Tower out my room window. Nice people and Staff.

This hotel is in a great location to sighsee around Auckland. Only a block from the Auckland tower, and within walking distance of all downtown area. We enjoyed the hotel but didn't get the room we booked with a deluxe king bed. First, they put us in the new part of the hotel which was very nice but in a double bed of which we have not slept in for […] 25 years. It was a great stay at the hotel. The bed was comfortable, the room was outfitted in a modern style, and the location was convenient to everything but still on a quiet street. The only thing that we would have preferred was a bathtub, or at least a shower where water didn't pour all over the floor (thought he bathoroom looked quite stylish, the partial […] glass wall did not prevent water from spraying all out by the toilet area). Enjoyed staying here in very comfortable corner of building room overlooking green. Excellent staff with good local info. Disappointed that the advertised spa and jacuzzi were out of order the day we were there.

This hotel is ideally situated, near the harbour, sky tower and Queen'street : all you need in the CBD. The bedroom clean and quiet. The staff at the reception was efficient and I kept a wonderful souvenir of the french bar tender who was friendly and very good at his job.

The hotel is located near the Sky Tower. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean with a beatiful view over Auckland. The location is central Auckland, near the harbour. That was a great experience.

Hotel lives up to the 4 1/2 stars, some rooms are renovated and are excellent, the not yet renovated ones are still very good.Location is perfect and close to shopping and harbour.The staff of this hotel is very helpful and courteous.There is free Wifi in the lobby.

Location is excellent. Beds and pillows unbelievably comfortable - the best I have come across in any hotel in the world. Make sure you request a harbourview as the alternative is not particularly scenic.

The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the cleaning lady who noticed that our shower was not properly fixated and called the maintenance to have it fixed.

Very comfortable stay at this hotel. Can be noisy as it is downtown, so you may want to request upper floors if you are a light sleeper. Absolutely no complaints.

"Great hotel in a great location"
The most comfortable beds I have ever slept in -- very luxurious. Everything in the city was within walking distance, especially the pier for the cruises. I think towels say a lot about the quality of a hotel and the towels here were thick and fluffy.

Hotel itself was excellent. Location was a little further from waterfront than what I anticipated. Neighborhood was downtown commercial: No ambiance but very convenient for restaurants, ATM, sights. Valet parking service was very convenient. We had a car which made it easier to get around town. In house-restaurant excellent. We got to our hotel before check-in after a long flight from LA and they graciously found us a room that was ready early. They had newly renovated and the room was very luxurious and comfortable.

You can judge a hotel's standards by its lobby toilet, and this one was luxurious offering hand towels in a basket. We got to check in half an hour early, and as we entered the room, caught the bell boy flushing our toilet. Was he cleaning our toilet or using it? Not sure...but we gave him benefit of the doubt, though found it strange that the toilet […] seat was left up, and he then said sorry and then abruptly left without saying anything like" your bathroom is all ready" Other than that, the hotel was really nice and comfy. "The Modern Heart of Auckland"
A couple of blocks from Sky Tower and Queen Street the hotel is modern, spotlessly clean, with friendly and helpful staff and reasonable rates. The rooms have large panoramic windows (the outside walls are practically all glass) and I could see the Sky Tower out one side and just the city skyline out the other.
