Miellyttävä pieni hotelli kohtuuhintaan. Huone oli valoisa, avara, siisti, kaikki toimi hyvin. Paras mannermainen aamiainen niistä hotelleista, missä ollaan tällä matkalla oltu: tavanomaisen "pulla-aamiaisen" lisäksi oli erilaisia pikapuurohiutaleita, jogurttia sekä hedelmiä.

Hotellin sijainti oli tosi hyvä. Yöllä pientä meteliä, mutta oltiinhan suurkaupungissa. Ruokapaikat lähellä ja hyvä aamiaispaikka ihan vieressä.

Hinta-laatusuhde oli mielestäni kohdallaan. Tämänhintaiselta hotellilta ei tietenkään voi odottaa viiden tähden laatua, mutta huone olis siisti ja riittävän tilava, ja sijainti oli erinomainen.

Hotelli sijaitsi kivalla pienemmällä paikkakunnalla noin 20 minuutin ajomatkan päästä SF:n downtownista. Autolla oli kätevä liikkua (hotellissa ilmainen parkkipaikka!). Mutta myös vajaan 2 km:n päästä kulkevalla BART:llakin pääsee helposti SF:n keskustaan. Hotelli oli todella siisti ja hyväkuntoinen. Myös hintaan sisältyvä aamiainen oli kattava (tarjolla mm. puuroa, hedelmiä, jogurttia). Hotellin henkilökunta oli hyvin ystävällistä. Suosittelen hotellia etenkin San Franciscon automatkaajille!

Pacifica is a perfect location for hiking in hills by the Pacific. It has easy access to San Francisco, the airport, and the rest of the Bay Area. This hotel, while not fancy, has everything you could want--a pool, a hot tub, a coffee maker in the room, ice and vending machines on every other floor. The hotel is a throwback from the 70s. A lot of concrete standing above the parking structure. The room was large, which was a nice surprise, but hadn't been renovated in decades. The bed was comfortable and the linens clean, but it was depressing to see it so neglected when it is nested overlooking a spectacular beach. "Pacifica, CA--serene stay"
The hotel was roomier than anything in San Francisco, CA and yet close enough for a quick drive into the city. The boys wanted to get away from the crowds and pace of the city and this place was perfect. On the beach, quiet with a beautiful view and small town feel.

The Hotel exceeded my expectations. Comfortable clean room. You could hear and see the Ocean from my room. The restaurant in the Hotel was superb!!

This was a great hotel. The front desk customer service was very helpful. I had a great view from my room and could hear the waves crashing! The hotel restaurant had an excellent dessert menu. I would stay here again and again.

"Memories"
The Best Western Lighthouse Hotel is where me and my husband married 14 years ago, so it holds a special place in our hearts. The hotel still shows well and the rooms have been redecorated in a modern design. I was pleasantly surprised by the extra little amenities that help you out during your travels , like bottled water , coffee , and extra toiletries […] if you forgot them at home. The area is always great because it fronts the Pacific Ocean with a wonderful view , especially in the properties restaurant Portofino. The Moonraker was great 14 years ago but Portofino is well liked also. The meals were fabulous especially the Chicken and Veal Marsala! I would recommend this hotel and restaurant to you land lubbers! It is hard to find a great pairing of the two in most cities, especially by the ocean. Lisätietoja

The hotel needs urgently a refurbishment, the room smells, toilet flushing is incredibly loud even the refrigirator emits noise that prevent you from getting asleep.

The Lighthouse Hotel was a great place to spend a weekend by the water. Even though it was cold the whole time but it was still enjoyable. The surrounding neighborhood didn't have many places to shop and eat but it still is a great place to stay. "The Bestwestern Lighthouse Hotel in Pacifica, CA"
Very nice, comfortable room, right on the beach with a nice italian restaurant inside and another more casual restaurant right across the street. Only about 20 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge, lots of stuff to do without having to travel too far.

Nothing special. OK room for the price considering it is right on the beach. Few restaurants around the hotel, few shops too. All in all, nothing bad about the hotel and nothing really spectacular.

The hotel was out of the hustle and bustle of San Francisco, right on the coast. The beach and view are beautiful. Nice walking trails nearby. Nice shops and several places to eat within walking distance... Nick's Restaurant was good. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant because it seemed a bit over-priced. Staff was nice. Rooms were clean. The hotel […] is not fancy on the outside, but the cosatal environment is tough on up-keep. The one drawback was no air conditioning in the rooms. It was a bit stuffy (July), especially when the afternoon sun came through the windows. The layout of this hotel is terrifbly confusing and staff was unclear with instructions on how to get to the specific elevator we needed. There are 3 elevators--the two that go to rooms land you in the garage, not the lobby. I have a cast on my arm and was with my mother who is 93 years old. We had been driving all day and were tired. There was no offer […] of assistance to take our bags to the room, nor even someone to show us where the illusive "C" elevator (which I thought she was calling the sea elevator) was located. The staff should be trained in carefully and thoroughly explaining that there are two buildings, with two elevators, and provide a to-room service. I was told that the weather in Pacifica is usually foggy and cold but we didn't experience that at all. We had beautiful sunny weather for our whole stay. I loved the hiking trails all around the hotel. We were only a 10 minute drive from San Francisco but felt like we were in an excluded hideaway beach community. We were pleased with our partial ocean view room. We had a nice view of the ocean from the balcony. Far better than our previous stays there. The restaurants and the surrounding ones are too pricey and doesn't appear they have much business.

"Great Pacifica hotel!"
Beautiful location on beach! The clerk was super friendly and quick to check us in. The next day they let us stay an extra hour free of charge before checking out. The room we had was spacious and well layed out. The bathrooms are big and very nice. We had a great view from our little balcony area! We could hear a kid screaming and whining in the room […] next to us but the kid stopped well before 10pm so it was ok. It was quiet after that. A very peaceful stay. Little or no outside disturbances, which was one of our goals.Beautiful sightlines of the beach/ocean. Breathtaking at times. Very convenient for trips to San Francisco. All in all, a very pleasurable experience.

"very nice for the price"
Very friendly staff. Free internet and free faxing a plus. I was given a partial ocen view as promised and having the windows open was a plus. The single elevator was very slow and the parking lot not well lit and flooded with it rained.
magnificent setting with wonderful hikes right next door. ..... cliffs and shoreline.

"Worth the view"
I stayed here while on business. The hotel and room met my expectations. The ocean view exceeded my expectations. The hotel is right on the ocean and is worth the drive outside of the city to stay. I will stay again for personal reasons to get away and be able to have such a nice view and relaxing stay.
