Microtel Inn Georgetown - Georgetown

I like this hotel... I've stayed twice at this Microtel in Georgetown and once at the Microtel in Lexington. I like them both. It's a compact hotel... a small room with a small fridge, small complementary breakfast. The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was pretty clean. I wasn't staying long in the hotel, so that was all I was looking for... […] a cheap clean place to shower and sleep. There were some negatives... the air conditioner gave a rather musty smell to the room, the edges of the carpeting didn't look incredibly clean. But the bed, towels, shower, bathroom, etc were all very nice and clean, nice tv. And you won't find a better price. Lisätietoja

the location is very good and room was every clean. Housekeeping does a great job, will stay there again. :)

Hotel is conveniently located off 75. The staff was very friendly & even allowed me to check in 3 hours early. Rooms are small, but decent for the price. Hotel is under construction, but it doesn't really effect your stay. Overall, I'd recommend the hotel to anyone traveling in the Georgetown area.

the hotel was location close to everything, The room was very clean for a smoking room. The bed was very comfortable, one of the best night sleeps in a hotel I have ever had.

On the second morning of my stay I found a dead roach in the bed.

The only thing bad was the sound proofing. They need some. It is small but so is the price. Very clean

Renovation is ongoing. Hotel employees were very efficient and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

We travel through this way a lot. Great place for the price. Convenient location. Clean, compact rooms. Appreciate breakfast included. Thoughtful staff.

My husband and I needed a hotel to spend the night on the way from Alabama to Michigan. We chose this hotel because it was about half way for us and we were extremely satisfied. Was a good place to stop for night. I would stay again.

Workers are rude, all construction workers staying there, hanging out in halls, unclean, unsafe.

Yes, the room is small but it had everything we needed. The staff is awesome, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend +++++

Drove in from up north, used this location as within "striking-distance" of my appointment in Lexington for the next morning (20 minutes or so). Small-town offered low price, friendly service and many, many dining choiced within a few blocks.

Felt like I was a on cruise ship. Bedside tables were shelves on each side of the bed with a window seat under the window. TV sat on top of built in wardrobe. All was there and very comfortable. The room was small but comfortable. There was no blow dryer in the room and also no shampoo either. The bed was comfortable and also liked that the window could be opened. Also no computer in the hotel to use by customers which was also inconvenient. The staff was friendly and room also came with continental breakfast which was convenient. For the price […] the room was okay but for more money I would of stayed somewhere else for more options. The main reason we chose the hotel was because of smoking being allowed in the room. This hotel is definitely "budget" class, but the rooms are clean and comfortable even if very small. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay for short periods consider this one. My only complaint with the service was the empty room next door had the alarm set so it was buzzing constantly in the morning. Once we registered we were approached by an unknown female who came from a pickup with another guy sitting on the tailgate- she was very insistent that we give her money for gas- we suggested the mission and police she reported that she had done both- we did not give her money but reported this to the front desk- she informed us that the young man with […] the female had worked at the hotel. she would walk around the hotel and see what was going on. A clean place with comfortable beds at a great price.

Our room clearly put the micro in microtel but the room was all we needed. It was clean and housekeeping kept it that way. Easy to the interstate, easy to restaurants, not much of a Continental breakfast but fine for the price.

We checked in late and were greeted by the lobby reeking of cigarette smoke. This scared us a bit, but the rest of the hotel was fine. The room was adequate for our needs. Nothing fancy. Just a room.

Microtel Hotels have been in the past, clean, neat and thus projected a bug free pleasant stay. This stay, however, changed my mind. The hotel itself wasn't neat with various cleaners stacked hither and yon at the front entrance, the entryway door dirty with smudges, and a high pile of sheets in the work area clearly visible to visitors. The room itself […] had a few bugs, the fridge with visible food globs, and a musty smell, especially strong near the window. There had been a leak which was poorly covered over by a square of wallpaper. It wasn't worth the price. The only redeemable was the staff who were very pleasant and helpful in every area. Breakfast items were never replenished in a timely fashion, and ran out of items 90 min before breakfast time was over. Poor management of supply. Room had a constant damp musty smell. Lots of construction noise, ie, hammering, heavy pounding while trying to sleep during the late morning. Not pleasant. Perfect for a business traveler. I liked the free internet, free parking and didn't have any loud neighboring guests. Would do it again

If you are looking for a place to lay your head for the night, this is it. However, if you prefer four star and amenities, move on. Not a bad little place. Housekeeping was very helpful. We just needed somewhere for two nights during Ky derby. Suited our needs. Price is right. On the site it said no breakfast and no wi-fi, it had both.

upon our recent arrival we arrived at 3:30am, i had called to confirm and we checked in swiftly,were up to our room and had agood nite sleep! the service was friendly,cont. breakfast adequate,and ou r stay was pleasant.

I realize that this is a 2 star hotel, but we booked a room with one queen, but most importantly, a handicapped room with a roll in / walk in shower. When we got there that night we were told the only room available had 2 beds, which was okay, but the shower was not what I was promised and so for those two nights I couldn't shower. It was a very clean, well located hotel for what we were doing in the area. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. For the money, it's a great value. I have stayed at many Microtels, and they are always satisfying.

I was very pleased I just new I was going to be checking out as soon as I saw the room, However, to my suprise the room was small but very clean and comfortable,and it was close to everything I will stay again.
