the hotel was good for the price because it was convenient and easy to find as well as being in the center of commerce in St Malo....I would recommend it but explain that it is a little worn for wear.

We got a really good deal on the room so we weren't complaining. Hotel was very clean, staff spoke excellent English and were both friendly and helpful. Very good location. Easy to find in the maze-like St. Malo old city. Very closed to busy shopping street but room is quiet. Very good value for money hotel. Highly recommend.

We booked this hotel in hotels.com without really knowing what we were getting into. It turned out great. Very nice staff and quaint hotel right in the old city of St. Malo. They had just enough technology (wireless in the lobby) to get by:). Highly recommend to others.

Excellently situated inside the old walled town and very easy to find in a car. But just don't expect to be able to get into their very small car park - which in any case costs 12euros per day. Rather, the receptionist will sell you a 24-hour ticket for one of the many local car parks for 7.5 euros. All these car parks are in the open and outside the […] walls, but they seem safe enough and in reality, even if you have to drive around to find a space, you'll only be a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The Hotel was close to where I needed to be. It served breakfast for early leavers i.e 6am. Was clean, comfortable and had a great view over the roof tops of St Malo

Friendly staff. Clean comfortable room - we had a "comfort" double room at the front of the hotel. The area was busy during the day but quiet at night, We did not take breakfast because we planned to eat on the ferry. Good value for money.

Stayed for one night prior to early departure for Channel Island ferry. Comfortable but basic double room at rear of hotel. Very clean but decor rather dismal. A mirror over the desk would be welcome. Receptionist very helpful regarding parking. Would use again for short stay.

I deliberately chose this hotel as I wanted secure parking and was prepared to pay for it. When I arrived I was told the car park was full or too tight for a car of my size. Hotel was very average. We just got back from a quick trip to France. Instead of staying all week in Paris we did a quick side trip to St. Malo. We spent two nights at the Du Lourve - and really enjoyed our stay. We arrived via train early in the morning. The hotel staff was friendly and offered to keep our packs because our room wasn't ready. They also helped us with the […] bus schedule to Mont St. Michel. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly, accommodating, professional, and went out of their way to help. Incredible location, right in the heart of the town. Very clean place., big screen TV right in front of the bed. So confirmable we didn't; want to leave the room.Simple, nice, great place. Will stay there again.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. No matter what time we arrive there is a warm friendly welcome from the staff. Staff are very helpfull with suggestions for restaurants etc or indeed any problems. The hotel is not large but is very modern and stylish throughout. Because of being in the old town where the streets are quite narrow there are no great views from the rooms but this part of the charm of the hotel and the old town. It is very handily placed for restaurants, shops and sites. The views from the ramparts are stunning and doing a complete circuit is a very enjoyable one or two hours or however long you want to take; there's always something going on. The hotel is only a short drive from th ferry terminal. Parking at the hotel can be a bit tricky if like me you have a large car; the entrance is a bit narrow and a sharp turn to get in, out. Nice cosy hotel with plenty of restaurants close by. The reception girls were attractive, friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean and comfortable. The carpark was nice and secure, although it might be tricky for large vehicles to get in to it because you enter it from a narrow road. I arrived on motorcycle so didn't have any problems. Great hotel in convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff. We arrived at 9am in the morning, and it was no problem for them to check us into our room at this time- which was great, as we only had one day in St. Malo. Central location with restaurants and bars nearby

First of all, you cannot ask for a better location. This hotel is in the heart of the old, fortified city, close to everything you want to be near. Forget the hotels on the strand north of the old city ... stay inside the walls. Secondly, the hotel staff were exceedingly pleasant. In general (and as someone who has spent a great deal of time in Paris […] and some other cities in France, and as someone engaged to a Frenchman with many French acquaintances), I found St Malo to be a very polite city and everyone there was very pleasant. Thirdly, the room was excellent. The bathroom was fully renovated with a large tub and shower. The bathroom was located off of the entry corridor (behind its own door, of course), and there was a second door between the front door and the main part of the room, which added some additional insulation from any noises that might be in the hallway. The room itself was large, with a queen sized bed and three large windows on two walls. The view from the room was wonderful, and we were high enough off the street to see the rooftops of the surrounding buildings and the seagulls perched there. Lisätietoja

Hotel situé dans le centre des remparts de St Malo, Service hotelier aimable et à disposition. Qualité du petit déjeuner excellent avec un vaste de choix entre le sucré et le salé Chambre avec baignoire et lit double (grand format) plus que bien pour la confortabilité des hôtes.

Bon hôtel intra muros pour petit séjour en amoureux ... Très bons restos aux abords de l'hôtel et bon petit déjeuner sur place.

Parfaitement situé dans une vieille ville qui n'a plus rien à prouver, l'accueil y est agréable et le petit déjeuner parfait. Bémol qui n'est pas spécifique à cet hôtel : demande de la carte bleue, dont on relève tous les numéros... je propose une caution en argent liquide, "ce n'est pas possible"... ne pourrait-on faire autrement ? et les suppléments […] éventuels (pas de mini-bar dans la chambre...) seraient retenus sur cette caution qui peut être aussi importante que le non-contenu du mini-bar ! Excellent accueil sympathique, chambre parfaite, pas de bruit alors que l’hôtel est en intra muros. Bref idéal pour un séjour court ou long. On y reviendra !!!

Man paßte gerade seitwärts durch die Duschtüren, herunterfallen durfte nichts, man hätte es nicht aufheben können, ohne wieder aus der Dusche auszusteigen. L'hotel est sympa et mérite ses 3 étoiles, mais très franchement ne vous laissez pas berner par les superbes photos des chambres "comfort" ! Ça ne vaut pas le coup de payer un supplément pour cela. j' ai été amené à fournir mon numéro de carte bancaire à l' accueil alors que je n' ai eu à payer que 2 euros de taxe de séjours le lendemain ?Qui a pris des risques ? l' hotel ou moi?je préfèrerais avoir à payer tout de suite sur Hotel.com et ainsi ne divulguer mon numéro qu' une seule fois , et sur un site sécurisé. Réservation moins chère via hotels.com , la chambre était collée à l'ascenseur très bruyant, chambre très petite.

Hotellet ligger midt i sentrum, bare et kvartal eller to å gå for å komme til butikker og restauranter. Betjeningen var hyggelig og hjelpsom. Vi trivdes godt her!

L'accueil de groupes entraîne du bruit dans les couloirs, les chariots tirés dans la cour par le personnel avant sept heures du matin aussi. Les restaurants conseillés par la réception sont médiocres. Très bonne situation géographique cependant.

Chambre propre et bien tenu. Très bonne localisation de l'hôtel, et parking public à proximité de l'hôtel avec possibilité d'acheter une carte de parking pour 24h à 7,50 euros. Très bon petit déjeuner de type buffet.

Hotel du Louvre ligt in het oude centrum van St.Malo,een goede locatie om van daaruit het stadje te bezoeken.Het is een eenvoudig doch net hotel,wij zouden er de volgende keer weer naartoe gaan.

bon accueil, jolie chambre et confortable, le gros hic chambre à coté de la cage d'escalier avec l'ascenseur: on entendait le bruit du mecanisme de l'ascenseur se declencher sans cesse, et notre porte de chambre à coté de la porte de la lingerie où la femme de menage dès le matin de bonne heure va ouvrir toutes les 2 min la porte et la claquer!! horrible!!! hotel […] à ne pas recommander si vous voulez dormir au delà de 6H00 du matin! L'hôtel est très bien placé,en plein centre de Saint-Malo.Les réceptionnistes ont été très gentilles durant ce week-end.Toujours disponibles,souriantes.Le petit-déjeuner était parfait,complet et très copieux.Les chambres sont peut-être un peu à revoir pour la peinture,mais pour le prix payé par nuit,c'est difficile d'en demander plus.

Très bien situé, cet hôtel est au centre Intra Muros de la ville, soit le centre ville encerclé de remparts. Assez dur a trouver malgrés de nombreuses indications (il faut dire que l'hotel du Louvre n'est pas le seul a s'etre installé la !) Mais n'hésitez pas a demander aux passants, ceux ci sont très expressifs ! Comptez les suppléants si vous souhaiter […] vous garer dans la ville(qui reviend a 15euros les 2jours). Le personnel de service est très souriant, pas très bavards, mais polis. La chambre est de moyenne taille, correcte en du au prix, le lit confortable, TV grand écran, la salle de bain petite mais bien équipée. Hotêl trés bien situé dans la ville intra muros, le personnel est charmant, trés accueillant, les chambres sont propres et confortables.

Dommage que les papiers peints laissent a desirer dans les chambres: il y a des marques de moisissures!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.Tout le personnel a été très accueillant et très professionnel.Le petit déjeuner vaut largement la visite! Nous vous le recommandons avec vos enfants.La situation géographique de l'hôtel permet de ne pas utiliser la voiture: nous avons utilisé les transports en commun.MERCI!
