I was pleasently surprised. The Hyatt Place has a living room area with couch, office desk and bar with a small refrigerator. This is standard in all the rooms.

family friendly nice clean room good price! will stay agian.

Great, considerate, and helpful staff. Nice hotel. The breakfast, order to go was ok. The complimentary meal was ok as well. Breads, oatmeal, coffee, cereal, juice and fruit. Next time in the Dallas area, will probably choose this hotel again.

Location and price is really great for the business traveler. Youcan walk across the parking lot to a restaurant/bar for food or drinks. The large room is comfortable. The wifi connection and large desk make working from the room a breeze.

I've stayed at this hotel before with much satisfaction. This stay was NOT such a time. The toilet was broken in the first room. The staff changed us to a different room, which was infested with bed bugs. The staff responded proportionately; however, the third room (2nd night) also had problems with bed bugs. I stayed in Hyatt hotel from 12/19 through 12/22 on a business trip. This was my first visit in this hotel and I was very pleased. I was first bit concerned with some other reviews I have seen but after coming here everything changed. Friendly stuff, great accomodation, good food choice from menu, fantastic breakfast services which can top any other […] services I have seen in the past. After long weeks of business, this is the hotel of choice for a nice weekend spent with the one I love. We can always count on this hotel being very clean and the service being outstanding. When ever I need to get away and we are in Dallas, this will be the hotel of choice.

My husband & I enjoyed our stay here while he attended a seminar. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is clean with many aesthetic touches. Only two things were lacking -- the breakfast was very minimal & there was not a microwave in our room though there was one downstairs for use. Staff made our stay special by making us feel special and important. Courtesy van was a wonderful asset for us also. We parked and took the van instead of driving. Excellent value for the money. Above and beyond all the hotels we have used over the last few years. Highly recommend.

The subject line says it all - Very nice, modern and clean. Accomodating and friendly staff...no complaints here, and plan on staying again.

Our stay was very enjoyable. Staff was Friendly and Helpful! The room was Modern and Clean. Bed was Comfortable.Nice Swimming Pool. U never know what ur going to get when u book off the computer but I did good with this one and would recommend it to everyone.

The Hyatt Los Colinas, was convenient to our needed locations. It was very clean, and the staff was very nice and accomadating. This Hyatt was easy to get to, and go where needed. Thank you for a pleasant stay away from home.

We stayed here with 3 kids in a double room that had a pull out queen bed. The room was spacious and the hotel was incredibly clean and up to date. Their free breakfast is a little sparse but you do have the option to buy breakfast which was not necessary for us. Found this little gem close to the Marriott Las Colinas at the half the price!

I'm not familiar with the Dallas area and the Hyatt Place Las Colinas was perfectly located for a weekend visit. It's close to a highway, but also really close to a pretty and convenient shopping/ residential area (Las Colinas). My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to explore the surrounding area and feeling comfortable with the neighborhood […] and businesses around us. There's a Bennigans practically in the parking lot of the hotel, and we were able to walk over. The hotel services available like the "grab and go" station and the kitchen services are something I've never seen before in an all suites hotel like this and we loved it! It was so convenient and I ordered a pizza from their menu (personal size) that was delicious! I didn't mind at all that it wasn't brought to my room, because it was ready so quickly. Above all, the most impressive part of the hotel were the hotel workers. Danny at the front desk was incredibly helpful, friendly and made us feel like we had arrived at a friend's home rather than a hotel. Everytime we saw her she had a smile on her face and was ready to assist with anything we needed. My husband and I both are sales managers for one of the largest online travel agencies and all of the staff at the front desk impressed us with their amazing focus on customer service. Their ability to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable during their stay is truly commendable and something that we all strive for in the tourism industry. I stayed at the Hyatt Place while apartment hunting in the Irving area. My flight was delayed and I got in really really late but they held my room for me. They were also very accomodating about holding onto my luggage once the airline delivered it. The hotel looks brand new, the rooms are huge, and the service is great. Very clean, spacious and comfortable! Took a few tries to figure out how to get to the hotel- the access to it was weird but definitely worth it. Would stay again...

This is an outstanding hotel with all the comforts of a studio apartment in a hotel setting. I have stayed in Hyatt Place hotels and have always been impressed. Every thing was great. Only issue was the first night the wake up call went off at 1:15 instead of 5:45 AM.

There is nothing but praise for this hotel. I stayed at one when travelling to Atlanta, and now this one in Irving, TX. The design is contemporary and stylish. The hotel is always clean. The staff are friendly and competent, and the rooms are always pristine. I recommend this to anyone.

Would definately stay again

I must say, I was looking forward to our weekend getaway, however, it still turned out nicely. I won't blame Hyatt Place totally, but I was shocked to see so many underaged/undersupervised teens at the hotel. Not sure what was going on. It looked to be some sort of after party. Whatever the case, our hallway was a little noisy until I spoke with guest […] services downstairs. They jumped on the situation right away! There was ample (free) parking, and at night things are well lit, so that put me at ease. We didn't eat breakfast, or any of the snacks they offtered round the clock, but they did look inviting! Overall, I would definitely stay at the hotel again. For the money, you can't beat the comfort and classy atmosphere this hotel offers! Very nice hotel. The only downside was the terrible breakfast which I actually paid for to get bacon, eggs, and potatoes above the limited items that are complimentary.

Hyatt Places are nice, modern hotels that are remarkably consistent. The rooms are virtually identical from Texas to Virginia. For someone that ends up in a lot of hotels, it's nice to have a reasonably priced hotel that's clean, modern, and consistent. We had an overall pleasant experience at this hotel. All the staff were very courteous and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the exercise room was well equipped. It is located near a number of restaurants, sports bars and a couple strip malls. The only difficult part of the stay was figuring out the streets and how to get […] back on the main freeway, but that is a problem with Texas D.O.T. and the hotel staff were great in giving us directions to places we needed to go. For the Big12 fans, it is within 5 minutes from the Big 12 headquarters, and is only about 15-20 minutes from Cowboys Stadium depending on traffic. Although you are right by the airport, you hardly notice it as you don't hear the planes as they fly by. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Room wonderful, good price, everything conditions like new, the location very nice and good restaurants near to hotel. The just problem was the attention on breakfast, so bad, fruit salad not good, and desk attention so bad. They need to better on it.
