Sijainti.
Rannalla, kaupungissa Worthing (Christ Church) sijaitseva Blue Orchids Beach Hotel on lähellä seuraavia kohteita: Accra Beach, Harry Bayley Observatory ja Dover Beach. Muita kiinnostavia kohteita lähellä hotellia ovat Barbadoksen museo ja historiallinen yhdistys ja Wildey House.

We were 9 days in hotel Butterfly in july 2011. The hotel was a positive surprise, as we thought it wouldnt be on the beach (hotels.com map shows there is a distance to the beach). However, the hotel is right on the beach and the beach is actually a very nice, white sand, "private" beach. And if that is too small, there are other beaches just nearby. Hotel staff was nice and the hotel has a swimming pool plus 4 swirlpools, where it's nice to relax etc. loads of sunbeds aswell and you are able to move them to the beach. There is a restaurant at the hotel, where they have different menus lunchtime and dinnertime etc. We didnt have breakfast included, so we didnt eat the breakfast at the hotel as it would have been really expensive. I would like to also mention, that there werent really any restaurants nearby, except maybe a few.. and a nice chinese restaurant across the street. Hotel is perfectly situated if you want to enjoy laying in the sun and swimming in the perfect light-blue caribbean sea. But as I said, you need to take a taxi or a bus to get to restaurants or night-life (there is a gentemans club across the street aswell). Oistin's mall is like 1 km away, so you can easily walk there, though. Our hotel room had everything we needed. We bought groseries and made breakfast there ourselves. If you are very sensitive to noise, you might be disturbed by neighbour rooms tv or the sound from the street. There are a lot of things to do in Barbados (cruises, snorkling, adventure trips), and the hotel staff can help you with those. I would recommend this hotel :)

"Great location on a beautiful beach"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Orchids and would happily recommend it. The hotel is in a great location, just around the corner from one of the best beach on the island. The rooms were cleaned daily and had everything you need. They're not the most luxurious on the island, but for the price they cannot be faulted. "You MUST stay at this hotel in Barbados"
On our first visit to Barbados we spent a week at the Blue Orchids Beach Hotel almost identical to it's adjacent sister hotel Coral Mist in Worthing 7 miles south of Bridgetown. All the apartments have a sea view..wonderful to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset,rum punch in hand, and to hear the sea crashing against the rocks. The apartment was […] clean, well equpped, eco friendly and very good value. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful particularly Reggie who organised trips, taxis and knew everyhting about the island. He even braved rough seas to rescue my sandal which had been swept out to sea. The location was ideal..bus stops outside, the gorgeous Accra beach 2 minutes walk away and a 5 minute walk to a large supermarket and lots of restaurants and bars including St Lawrence Gap.
