Nice people but an old building that could use some updating.

The hotel is in a good location, near the highway yet far enough to be away from the traffic noise. The motel is a little aged but renovated. The price was competitive considering everything. I would also give high marks for the restaurant's food quality & warm service.

Typical hotel but aging , the drive up to your room nice, restaurant was excellent service and food. The rooms small and older decor but not the cleanest dodging spiders to get in and leftover hair in the washroom I'd say the cleaning staff needs to be reviewed. What they consider there premium room is not at all what they advertised . Its not all newly renovated , and the bathroom wallpaper and sheet rock was comming apart, dust in corners ,make up and blood spots on the bathroom wall that I removed myself with toilet paper and water .There was also blood stains on the bed cover blanket , some kind of white […] crusty stain on the other (beige fluffy fabric) blanket . And to add to that , if you are afraid of spiders ,there was like 50 of them outside the window some about 1 inch in size .We saw one on the air conditioner inside are room . Lisätietoja

I can not understand why they charge breakfast in spite of no restaurant.

The hotel was not at all like the pictures on the internet - looks really nice from the photo they put on, but it is really a run down facility. They advertise a pool and work out facility. The pool was definately in need of repair and was gross - while the work out facility was not open during the times we were at the hotel - seems they were open 10am-12pm […] and 4-6 pm only. We were lucky enought to be put in a "newly renovated" room, since the guy at hotels.com said there was a pull out bed in the two bedroom - there was not, so the staff put us in a larger room at no charge. The room was actually OK, but did they ever cut corners on the renovation. The batroom had a new tub and sink but they kept the crappy and worn out sink fixtures and never repainted or recaulked. The staff was however amazingly nice and friendly and very helpful. We would probably stay again, if we got a "newly renoved" room. They had a nice resturant and laundy facilities - but this is a one star hotel pretending to be a 5 star. Lisätietoja

The Amherst Wadlyn Inn was an older hotel with interior corridors that creaked when you walked down the halls. Our room had metal keys and there was no security at the exterior doors. Anyone could open the basement and side doors at any hour or the night. The pool area needed painting and the exterior white trim on the building need to be painted. We […] were given a breakfast "ticket" for the dining room with a choice of juice or fruit, eggs or cereal, muffin or toast, and tea or coffee. The fruit cup truck hadn't arrived. Management needs to work on nickel and diming a person to death and spruce up their hotel a bit.! Was not a 2 star or 3 AS INDICATED. pEELING PAINT ,OLD LINENS, NEEDS MORE HELP IN DINING ROOM.

This is a place I've stayed at about three times over the past six months. I have always found it clean and tidy. My past stays have always had very polite & friendly staff but this visit they surprised me. It must have been a bad day for the receptionist & to top it off, was a half hour late for check-out. I was reminded of the late charge ((67% of […] the nightly rate) that she would waive "this time". It's not exactly the thing one wants to remember when looking for a place to stay in the area overnight next month. Keeping in mind, all previous visits were exceptional... We enjoyed this hotel and the dining room was very nice too.

L'hotel était propre et bien entretenue. Pas de surplus au confort conventionnel. J'y retournerais en tout temps et je l'a recommande aus gens qui recherche un endroit propre pour dormir. Le personnel était courtois.
