Country Inn & Suites Georgetown - Georgetown

The bathroom had what they called Sugar Ants, all over the vanity, staff discounted our room and told us that many hotels in Georgia have this problem, the staff was very good they had someone up there right away, but still shouldn't have ants period.

Attentive,polite service. Good breakfast in pleasant surrounding. Easy parking. Well maintained grounds.

In the lobby there is 3 trip hazards. 2 are both sides of the lowered floor mat/water trap and the other is the threshold that was installed between the lobby and the hallway in front of the elevator.

We had a very nice stay

The hotel and room are clean. The receptionist during the night and morning are very helpful and friendly.

Nice location right off the highway and easy to find; breakfast was nice (eggs, biscuits & gravy, etc.) and very quiet!

The staff at the hotel was the friendliest I have ever encountered. The hotel itself was nice. The room was somewhat small but we had 3 adults and 2 children in one room so that was probably our fault. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The only things we were not to happy about were there was ants in our room, no cookies in the lobby ( we had children with us) and there was alot of banging when we were trying to go to sleep. I will say that the girls that work at the front desk were very nice and the shower had great preasure.

Everything about this location was great. Breakfast (and the woman who took care of it) was very nice and everything was very clean. The desk clerks were kind and actually went out of their way a few times (running us off a map for our next destination, putting us in a quiet spot, etc). Highly recommend

We stayed for a week-long horse show and were very happy with the hotel. For the money, you can't beat it. We had a problem with the door of our refrigerator and they replaced it right away. Rooms nice, bedding wonderful, breakfast more than adequate and you gotta love the fresh cookies in the lobby. We will definitely stay there again.

Very pleased withg a wonderful room to relax in and a fab breakfast! Great location, near the campus and right off the highway!

Good location and easy to locate. Number of restaurants close by. Pool was a bit small but okay when not crowded. Excellent service people for the breakfast. Happy with the overall stay. Very good price on Hotels.com

I travel two weeks a month..this hotel is just fine. It is not the newest Country Inn I have stayed in, but it was certainly fine. Good location right off the highway, but no highway noise. Price was reasonable, and the front desk staff was very nice.

The room was excellent. The breakfast was lacking. Many items were were missing and we were told that the truck was due in the next day. Later the manager told us that the truck didn't come in the day before on a Sunday. The help and management should at least get their stories straight . I enjoyed the room. The bed was like laying on a cottonball.

The only problem with this hotel was slamming doors otherwise it is a very nice place and a great value.

Condition of the hotel was great, excellent staff & service. My only comment that is negative was an early morning "wake up" from the local garbage folks emptying the "dumpster" @ 5:45 am. Wish they would have done it a bit later in the day. I slept well until then as the bed was extremely comfortable.

TI booked this hotel prior to reading the reviews. So I was worried. It was obvious ( just like the sign outside stated) that it was all new. This is now a Carlton...they got me in their rewards program. Hotel was great. Nice rooms, Good hearty breakfast, indoor heated pool and hot tub. Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable, the location was nice for our traveling route and the complimentary breakfast was better than most. The only complaint I really had was that someone should of cleaned our toilet more thoroughly since someone left us a little something.

My room was very big, I must have gotten a suite. When I checked in, however, the mini fridge was open and there were towels pressed against it and the floor was wet. In the bedroom, there was water damage on the ceiling and some of the plaster had fallen on to the bed. The staff was very helpful when my keys stopped working the last night I was  […] there. We made reservations here because we have never stayed at a Bad Country Inn and Suites.Now we have. The rooms walls were cracked and wall paper was peeling. The bathroom had cracked floor grout peeling out of the floor. The bathroom door hit the commode when you tried to open it.The breakfast consisted of stale biscuits and gravy.They were out of forks […] and knives.(Ever try to eat biscuits and gravey with two spoons?)Long story short....The place needs work and isn't worth the money.On a final note. Good hotel. Service was great. Room was clean (which is the most important thing in my book), but could use some updating. My favorite thing about this hotel hands down, was the 24 hour coffee & cookies in the lobby. First experience in a Country Inn and Suites. Not as luxurious as some hotels but at half the price of others we stayed in on this trip we were more than satisfied.
