Kaupungissa Berkeley sijaitseva DoubleTree by Hilton Berkeley Marina on meren rannalla ja lähellä kohteita Berkeleyn venesatama, Kalifornian yliopisto - Berkeley ja Berkeleyn taidemuseo. Alueen muihin nähtävyyksiin kuuluvat Kreikkalainen teatteri ja Tilden Regional Park.
Hotellin palvelut.
Hotellissa DoubleTree by Hilton Berkeley Marina on satama, 2 sisäuima-allasta, kuntokeskus ja poreallas. Langaton Internet-yhteys on ilmainen yleisillä alueilla. Tämän 3,5-tähden hotellin liiketoiminnan palveluihin sisältyvät liiketoimintakeskus, kokoushuone ja AV-laitteet. Tämä hotelli on vihreä/kestävän kehityksen-hotelli, jossa on ravintola ja baari / aulabaari. Henkilökunta voi järjestää: hääpalvelut, tilaisuuksien tarjoilut ja liiketoimintapalvelut. Hotellissa on muun muassa seuraavat lisäpalvelut: lastenallas, kuntokeskus tai -sali ja sauna.Asiakaspysäköinti sisältyy hintaan. Tämä on savuton hotelli.
Vierashuoneet.
Huoneissa on parveke tai terassi. DoubleTree by Hilton Berkeley Marinan 378 ilmaistoidussa huoneessa on iPod-telakat ja tallelokerot. Vieraat voivat käyttää lisämaksusta huoneessa nopeaa langatonta Internet-yhteyttä. 32-tuumainen LCD-televisio, joissa on parhaat kaapelikanavat ja maksulliset elokuvat, ovat saatavissa. Huoneissa on työpöydät, ergonomiset tuolit ja puhelin, useita linjoja sekä ilmainen vastaajapalvelu. Kylpyhuoneissa on hiustenkuivaaja ja hygieniatuotteet (sisältyvät hintaan).
Lisäpalveluihin kuuluvat kahvin-/teenkeitin ja ilmainen sanomalehti arkipäivinä. Lisäksi siivouspalveluita on saatavilla (päivittäin) ja pyynnöstä saatavissa oleviin palveluihin kuuluu herätyssoitto. Kaikki hotellin DoubleTree by Hilton Berkeley Marina vierashuoneet ovat savuttomia.

Miellyttävä pieni hotelli kohtuuhintaan. Huone oli valoisa, avara, siisti, kaikki toimi hyvin. Paras mannermainen aamiainen niistä hotelleista, missä ollaan tällä matkalla oltu: tavanomaisen "pulla-aamiaisen" lisäksi oli erilaisia pikapuurohiutaleita, jogurttia sekä hedelmiä.

Hotellin sijainti oli tosi hyvä. Yöllä pientä meteliä, mutta oltiinhan suurkaupungissa. Ruokapaikat lähellä ja hyvä aamiaispaikka ihan vieressä.

Hinta-laatusuhde oli mielestäni kohdallaan. Tämänhintaiselta hotellilta ei tietenkään voi odottaa viiden tähden laatua, mutta huone olis siisti ja riittävän tilava, ja sijainti oli erinomainen.

Hotelli sijaitsi kivalla pienemmällä paikkakunnalla noin 20 minuutin ajomatkan päästä SF:n downtownista. Autolla oli kätevä liikkua (hotellissa ilmainen parkkipaikka!). Mutta myös vajaan 2 km:n päästä kulkevalla BART:llakin pääsee helposti SF:n keskustaan. Hotelli oli todella siisti ja hyväkuntoinen. Myös hintaan sisältyvä aamiainen oli kattava (tarjolla mm. puuroa, hedelmiä, jogurttia). Hotellin henkilökunta oli hyvin ystävällistä. Suosittelen hotellia etenkin San Franciscon automatkaajille!
Lisähenkilöistä saatetaan periä maksu, joka saattaa vaihdella hotellikohtaisesti.

"Kiva hotelli lähellä San Franciscoa."
Pienvenesatamassa sijaitseva mielenkiintoinen hotelli. Ystävällinen henkilökunta, hyvä aamiainen ja siistit tilat. Pikku miinukset äänekkäästä ilmastointilaitteesta ja kylttien vähyydestä käytävillä(hotelli rakennettu vaakaan, eli suunnistaminen huoneesta respan hankalaa).

Interesting ...... Marina view and if go towards and look you can see SF about 15 miles away... I am a developer builder and I can tell you 100% that my building 3 has a foundation problem... The room slopes to the east about a 2% grade..... Very odd very weird..... Doors do not latch...otherwise very good quiet stay...

I stayed here before. The first time it was real nice and I got a good deal. The last time I stayed there I got a small room in bad condition the receptionist was not very good. I don't I will be staying there again. I thought I found a nice hotel close to home to just get away sometimes, but I guess this is not the place. "Beautiful location and all the comfort you need!"
We stayed here two nights and would not hestiate to stay again in the future. The staff was wonderful, thanks Jared for being so personable and caring. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was super comfy and the pillows amazing!! We had a king room with a marina view which we would recommend. "room wifi costs"
Enjoyed our stay ... great walking location with the marina and surrounding open space. Woke up to the birds singing ... No neighborhood in walking distance so spent some time in the hotel restaurant when we were not into getting in the car again. Only major complaint was the extra charge for wifi in the room. "Berkeley Marina - Great View, Great Breakfast..."
The front counter and support staff are always fast and helpful. The rooms are clean... but sometimes the towels are not. (do a quick check at the start of your stay) The wireless network service is good. The Bar can be a good place to end the night, but eat dinner out. "Great Marina hotel"
The Double Tree has a wonderful Berkeley Marina location. The marina has been upgraded with new nature paths and is a fabulous area. It also has great access to the freeway and Berkeley. The hotel has been updated so everything except the elevators looks new. The only problem I had was someone smoking in the adjacent room (we had a door to the other […] room) which made our entire room smell of smoke. I complained and instead of changing our room (I'm assuming because there was a convention there was no other space) they supposedly sent a security guard to the room next door. Even after being out for dinner, drinks and a night on the town it still smelled like smoke unfortunately but thankfully not as strongly as before. I also had to wait for creamer for my coffee. Long enough my coffee was only luke warm. I'd just suggest more creamers be left in the room. Easy fix. Other than that our stay was wonderful. Lisätietoja

Our stay was fabulous as always. The only compliant is the room we were in did not have a full Length mirror. Whenever we stay here it's usually for a special event. A full mirror would have been nice

We enjoyed our stay so much. From check-in with Denny to all the smiling helpful staff including the waitresses in the restaurant to the maids to Ryan in the bar to your new manager. We all had a wonderful stay. It was convinent to get around using Bart we did not have to drive in San Francisco.

The state of the first room we had was atrocious ! There was mold on the ceiling and it smelt of old fecal matter. The second room was much nicer comparatively . But, there are much nicer hotels in the area ecspecialy for the price , we should have stayed elsewhere.

Hotel staff was very friendly. Housekeeping could have been better in the hallways. Food was not so good, expected better for this hotel.
Only one criticism, impossible to sleep past 8 when the maids start cleaning. The chatter and screaming down the hall was disconcerting.

Nice room, great views, friendly staff. Would've preferred a BART shuttle that ran more often than once per hour, but otherwise, would definitely stay again. Free parking is a great perk!

Very nice hotel and great grounds. Only complaint is they do not have queens bed, only two doubles and they were just too small for two people.

The site was an excellent one to access San Francisco when all hotels near the Convention Center were booked. The room and service were above average but could be improved. Overall we were pleased.

If you like water views and beautiful walking trails this is a great place! Room was clean and comfortable. Car needed to Berkeley or San Francisco. Staff attentive and accommodating. Would definitely return again!
