Location was ideal for Croke Park where I was attending a conference.

we stayed in the dublin skylon for the weekend as we has business nearby. we enjoyed our stay immensely and found the area to be very interesting. the staff at the hotel were very polite and helpful. we will use the hotel again and proprose to spend longer there next as we have plans to do more sightseeing of the area

My husband and I spent 1 night at the Dublin Skylon. Great location, huge room. Customer service varied depending on who was at the front desk. Unfortunately the wifi did not work at all.

Wonderful hotel ! The front desk persons were kind, considerate and very helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean.The cleaning crew were polite and accommodating. The Bar was friendly. The restaurant food was great. Would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

Our stay was fine but there is inadequate parking and there was a carton of milk left on the window sill of our room from the previous occupant!

Hotel was grand. Two small issues. A charge for parking was levied. At €5 it was small but nonetheless I would like to have known beforehand. No residents drinks available in the bar....bottles available at reception.

Perfect overnight stay for myself and my partner. It took a little under 3 minutes for the receptionist to find our booking so she upgraded us for free, not expected but greatly appreciated. Also had dinner in the bar and had the best fish and chips I've ever tasted in my life. Will definitely be staying again.

The atmosphere in the hotel was lovely. Staff were friendly and food and it's service were very good also. A very busy spot with a homely feel.

We stayed at the Best Western Skylon Hotel while visiting our son who is a student at a university in Dublin. The staff was extraordinary. They helped us with directions, luggage and anything else that we needed. There is free wireless internet available which was a definite plus. Within one hour of checking into this hotel it crossed my mind that I should have purchased a sleeping bad and slept rough!! I got an ice bucket from the bar and went to purchase a chinese. when I got back to my room the wine bucket they gave was leaking all over the table and floor. these thing happen but when I went to reception to complain, i was […] met by comtempt for complaining!! and this from the management!! an apology was all I was looking for and a replacement ice bucket. would not recommend this hotel needless to say Lisätietoja

Reception and bar/restaurant staff were very pleasant and efficient. Room was clean, comfortable and modern, with flat screen TV and wifi, although shower could do with updating. Parking on premises is a bonus, at a reasonable nightly cost. Reasonable range of restaurants, cafes and pubs across the road. Picture looked clean and modern, but the place is well worn. As with most travel to Europe, it seems that you need to lower expectations.

Hotel bathrooms are awful. Cheap towels and no washcloths. Water came out as a trickle from the shower and the soaps had a heavy perfume smell. I didnt feel clean until I got home after a 3 night stay. Also, hotel is a 25 minute walk to City Centre. Not a great location if you want to go back to your hotel mid-day from sight-seeing.

Not very impressed with hotel. Parking cost €5 for an overnight stay. Reception was very slow there was a queue of people waiting and only one receptionist. Our room was average I would say. My fake leather headboard had a big tear in it. We only had one large towel for 2 people, and no TV remote. The view from our window was horrible. Just the backside […] of the hotel, very ugly. We had a sandwich in the bar which was ok, the barman was friendly. When we returned ther later in the evening, we had a drink and asked for some food. They only had sandwiches, and it was only 9.45. we ordered a cheese sandwich from a pretty insolent waiter. White bread with butter on one side and some horrible processed yellow cheese. The following morning, we were shown to our table at breakfast by a very haughty waiter. We were sitting down for nearly 10 minutes and we still had no tea or coffee. I had to call over a different waiter to get some coffee. Breakfast was average. Microwaved bacon and a rubber egg. And very bad service from one of the waiters. All in all I would never stay there again, and i was surprised becasue i have stayed at Best Western before in Paris, and the hotel was fantastic, and was also 3 star. Lisätietoja

Not cheap charged 5 euro to park the car per nite [no breakfast that was extra ] and the bar charged ONE EURO for a dash of mineral in my whiskey

Stayed one night in Best Western Skylon as we were going to a concert in Dublin. Hotel very convenient and welcoming. Staff very friendly and helpful. Both evening bar meal and breakfast very good. Would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

It's a family run hotel which speaks volumes. It's comfortable and warm. The staff are helpful and friendly. It's a little noisy at night with traffic going past but that didn't affect my sleep. The room was clean, comfortable and the services were acceptable, but there was no wi-fi access "in that part of the building", so that I was obliged to go to the lobby to connect to the internet.

This hotel was recommended to us by a friend. We found it conveniently located to the airport. The staff was helpful. The beds were comfortable, but the room was quite small. There is a fan/vent in the bathroom that must be on at all times that you want light in the room, and it is very loud. The Hotel is very easy to access from the M50. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly. Our only complaint was that we had to pay for parking. We feel that when you are staying in a Hotel parking should be available free.

I would recommend this Hotel to everyone.Its nice and clean.The staff is very very helpfull and so friendly.The rooms are very clean and comfortable and they will accomadate to everything you need.I will stay there again rather then journey into City of Dublin and pay a high price with no good service.
