"Hotel comfort in was comfy"
Pool was nice and warm which i like, game room sucked, had three old games and 2 didnt work, hot tub was also nice, bedroom was clean, a few hairs here and there,, coffe was amazing, easy to log in and out and u didnt need to go ask for a password to get on the internet wirelsly it was automatic...had a fun time will stay again

"cold greeting"
I was on a 15 day leisure/work trip and the last three nights were spent here. I am a frequent guest of Country Inn and Suites by Carlson, the previous six nights were at two St. Paul area locations. I've always enjoyed these bookings and most of the time at a very reasonable price. The staff of this location was borderline rude, and the front desk […] staff was the apparent source. they seemed angry or unhappy or both, definitely not MN nice. "Good but needs cosmetic update"
This is a good hotel but it does need a little updating. Would stay again

"Okay- very average"
We have been coming to this hotel since it first opned 11 years ago. It is showing its age and needs some upgrades. Better curtains, TV's, blankets, etc. I enjoy being away from Mayo a little bit- you can take van or just drive in. Breakfast is okay and quality varies depending on the day. It is a 2.5 -3 star hotel.

"NICE And FRIENDLY HOTEL"
We were traveling back from Mt. Rushmore. We drove for 9 hours before arriving at the hotel. The desk clerk upgraded us to a suite after finding out we just drove 9 hours. It gave us a night to relax like being at home before heading home the next morning. the suite was great.

Nice people, nice motel, clean. Enjoyed our stay there.
The quality of the room was excellent. Amenities were great.. A very adequate expanded breakfast. Price for room seemed reasonable for the quality. We have stayed here before and were again pleased. Driving to this location is challenging, though no big deal.

Very nice room. I appreciated the shuttle service to Mayo, and the nice continental breakfasts. The only problem was that on one of our four days we didn't get our room made up and when I called to ask if our room could be cleaned up, the desk person came to our room with a new garbage can insert. That was it.

I have stayed at this property multiple times and have always had good experiences with them. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to others and always look forward to my stay there!

We really liked this hotel! The breakfast was GREAT and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a request and it was brought to our room within minutes. The only thing I wish this site had was roll-away cots! Overall, we would definitely stay there again!

"Will go Back"
Very nice motel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and aimed to please. Nicely cleaned rooms and community areas. Only complaint were the pillows. They were a bit hard. Shuttle service to Mayo Clinic and other area medical buildings was priceless. Excellent continental breakfast!

"Nice hotel - not exceptional"
OVERALL - OK hotel - not stellar, but decent. This was a first time staying here. It is a decent, clean hotel with good personnel. The rooms were clean, though the heating took some adjustments (one day too cold, the next too hot) to find the right setting on the temperature gauge. The windows were quite drafty throughout the hotel (room, breakfast […] room, pool). Breakfast varied from day to day, and was about what you expect nowadays - nothing to write home about, but OK. "Comfortable Hotel"
Very comfortable room, nice hot breakfast. Call the hotel to get directions!!!

"Actually quiet"
It may have been that I was there during the middle of the week, but the hotel was quiet. I could actually enjoy using the hot tub without children at 9PM. The staff was helpful and recommended a restaurant just around the corner with good food at reasonable prices.

"COMFORTABLE HOTEL-OVERPRICED"
IT IS TYPICAL OF CI&S UNITS BUT CONSIDERING IT IS IN ROCHESTER MN AND NOT IN A PARTICULARLY CONVENIENT LOCATION, IT IS A BIT PRICEY
"Nice Hotel. Tough to get too."
The hotel was located along a frontage road some distance from the highway exit. I was difficult to drive too. Plus it was located in a office park with no other open businesses around.

"Very Pleased"
This was a really good hotel. We were very pleased. The only complaint I would have, is they should not allow children under 16 to use the hot tub.

The room was huge, quiet, and clean. The pool was warm, and very clean. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel! The staff was very friendly and always smiling, even when my kids were running down the halls screaming and laughing :-)
"Great Stay!"
This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this property and I will stay there again. The rooms are nice, the pool area is wonderful and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Also, the windows open in your room so you can get fresh air!
