The elevator was out of commission and was not repaired for three nights of our stay. The bedding and linens were dirty (stained sheets and gray towels.

General condition of the hote and rooml was must less than expected

"Don't stay here you will get grosed out"
If this was my first stay at a Bestwestern I would never stay again. The room had dog hair all over the couch, there was a stick holding the window locked. Random bags of garbage left in hallway, had to get a different room because of the room being dirty.

I got a really good deal on this room which is why I decided to try out this hotel. Having stayed the one night, I would be willing to pay full price next time if need be. Although the person that checked me in wasn't the friendliest (though professional) the rest of the staff were very welcoming. As to the room, it was pretty clean with the exception […] of some dirt/ grime buildup in the corners of the bathroom and carpet. I loved the layout of the room in that the furniture wasn't all cramped together and the sink is separate from the shower and the toilet. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and appreciated that the hotel was clean, quiet and in a really good location from me (within walking distance to Walmart, Best Buy and Tim Hortons).Well worth the money. The hotel room was very small and not as clean as we expected. The duvets on the bed definitely need to be washed as we found them very dirty. The queen sized beds need to be replaced as they were very outdated and uncomfortable. Our house keeper was very efficient and emediatly accommodated to all our needs. The pool was a joke.

The room I was in was good. The only problem I had was the television needs to be updated. Some channels were fuzzy and the color wasn't the greatest due to the fact the television is old. One other suggestion may to brighten up the rooms. They look like they haven't been renovated at all. Other all the stay was good.

staff were rude and not very helpful. Restaurant food was terrible and service was very slow. pool is in middle of lobby so not very much privacy as it is surounded by windows. during the night people were running through the halls and sliding fast food flyers under our door...very tacky and loud. tv is rooms are old and big tube ones.
I couldn't believe with what they charged for the hotel they had the nerve to charge us for two bottles of water. They said that it was housekeepings fault that they bottles didn't have a price on them. They have vending machines in the hotel Why would we pay over 5 dollars for two bottles of water. After I noticed the charge on my credit card I called […] them and that was there lame excuse. I wonder home many others they have ripped off for water. "Snow day"
We booked our hotel room throught hotel.com and got a room at a lowest rate than usual. We left the hotel on the next day and it was storming outside. We had to turn around and were reassure by hotel we would have our same room back at a snow day ratel ! Staff was very helpfu about our situation. Thanks again!

Room was not clean. Had left over food in the fridge. The hallway looked like it was a construction warehouse.
"Poor choice"
The heater was broken in our room and we had to complain twice, wait over a hour for the maintenance guy to not show up (it was 11pm), had to go down to the front desk and requested a new room instead which we were denied for no reason. They finally got the maintenance guy to show up then and all he did was the exact same thing we did. He brought us […] a space heater which barely warmed the area around it. We both came home sick after staying in this room. We tried complaining to the front desk again when we left and were brushed off with "I'll let the manager know." The hotel was comfortable. We requested a pet room with Hotels.ca but the hotel had no record of that request. We were put on the 6th floor which isn't very convenient for pets. VERY uncomfortable night as our kingsize bed looked like a banana - had a very severe dip in the middle. When we complained in the morning and suggested they fix it we were told that 'Probably one of the struts was broken" - surely someone should've fixed this before putting paying customers in it? We checked in and went to our queen room. The hallway stunk like cigarette smoke (there were no smoking signs everywhere), and our room was even worse. We were specifically here to take our daughter to the West Edmonton Mall, to take part in the water-park, the Galaxyland games & rides, during the Christmas holiday. It was a great get-away, & much fun. the Best western was just 3 blocks from the mall, & our room was large, & the beds were very comfortable.

Our first night was very trying, our room had puckered carpet with multiple stains, stuffing coming out of the arm of the sofa, a heater so noisy that the thunking and clunking kept waking us up, yet it never really heated the room adequately. The staff moved us to a much better room in the tower for the second night and that almost makes up for consigning us to that Siberia of a room the first night. The hotel has a good location for West Edmonton Mall and the staff was very good, friendly and responsive to our needs. Nice hotel close to mall but would be nice if there site mentioned that there is no hot tub only a pool.

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the bed and the linen on it. These sheets were so old they were wearing thin and the bed itself, even it is was king, was long past its comfortable stage. Because these are the two items most personally used by the customer they dictate the responses of the same. Went there with my friends, because it was okay priced and it was close to West Edmonton Mall. I didn't spend that much time in Hotel, but the time spend I enjoyed. Room was big, clean and beds were excellent. I recommend!!

Decent hotel. Clean but very average. Best part was being close to West Edmonton Mall (5 minute drive). Did not use pool, etc. Buffet was small but service was good. Hotel staff were nice. Key card didn't work the night we got there but they fixed it within that night.
This hotel is very run down, you can smell water damage at the property,on the internet it looks new but is not at all new but very old and dingy

Outdated, fixtures were in poor condition, hot Water pressure awful unless you like cold showers. There are plenty of cleaner, more updated places to stay in area. Messed up our reservation as well, however front desk staff did do their best to help us.

We stayed at this Best Western for 4 nights and wished we had not, The first "non-smoking " room we stayed in smelled so badly of smoke we were moved which they did do right away .Second room was ok but I am sure that that heat control did not work as we had it off and was still very hot,the fridge motor was so loud I had a hard time sleeping .We left […] our maid service card in the door at 7 am and returned at 4 and the room was still not made up so we gave up.We stay in Edmonton at least twice a month and this was the worst place we have stayed would not return.
