A pleasant surprise.

Staff was very pleasant, room was clean and quiet. Hotel is conveniently located to Biltmore, downtown, Blue Ridge Parkway and major highway connections. Only downside is that it is necessary to get back on the road for dinner as there is nothing in walking distance. Even with this I would still stay there again without hesitation.

Supposedly our room was non-smoking but the carpet reeked of smoke and there were cigarette butts on the walkway out front. When I tried to heat up my coffee in the microwave, I encountered a bug inside. After we pointed it out to housekeeping, the bug was removed. The desk chair was broken when we arrived, but after leaving a note for housekeeping […] the chair was replaced. The hot breakfast was O.K. but the gravy was bit thin. We stayed in a king suite that's located in the main building with hallway entrances unlike the other rooms. It was definitely worth the extra cash and still very affordable. very good but the continential breakfast ran out of food and coffee at 9:30 in morning and hadf togo eles where for breakfast

The rooms are much nicer than you would expect. It looks like a motel with all of the outdoor entrances. People were friendly. Breakfast was mediocre and crowded, but well serviced. They gave me a late checkout without any problems. Dogs were allowed - I didn't bring mine, but it was nice to know that I could have done so. Overall, it was close enough […] to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville that I didn't have any problems getting to any of my destinations. I would definitely stay there again. Housekeeping did a good job. The safe was already locked when I got there, so I couldn't use it, but to be fair, I didn't inquire to get it fixed. I traveled by myself and felt safe and secure. the hotel was convient and easy to get to the sights we wanted to see. It has been remodeled and the rooms were very clean and up to date. Great price.

Bathroom was cheap with the shower floor very flexible. Poor maintenance and poor TV remote and channel choice. Was very quiet except for construction workers that stayed and slammed doors everyone they went out for a smoke. Breakfast in seperate building and was raining so no breakfast. staff very courterous, helpful; large comfortable room, very well kept. The only "down" is that the entrance of each room is from the outside.

While our room was spacious, it faced the road and so we heard the traffic through the night. Also, the guests in the room next to us were up talking all night and while they were not talking loudly we could still hear them until 3:30 in the morning! We were pretty tired the next day as we toured Biltmore. We moved to a room facing the back. Nice clean hotel. Good location. Breakfast included bagels, waffles, sausage, eggs, biscuits etc. Very nice would stay again.

My husband and I were very pleased with the room. Very neat and clean. When we walked in we noticed that the room smelled very good and the bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast and service. Only a couple of small complaints...We had to switch rooms just after check-in because our room door was open and the room was not yet cleaned. We went for a weekend trip. Hotel was a good value for the price. Location was between downtown and Biltmore which made it easy to get around. Would stay there again

This hotel is perfect for the budget vacationer to Asheville or the Blue Ridge Parkway. The hotel was clean, affordable, and acessible from the interstate and city. The breakfast only lasted until 10am, but that's the norm for many hotels in the area.

Have stayed here before and as usual a great stay. The rooms were clean and neat as always (Possibly renovated?) and the staff pleasant and accommodating. Convenient to almost everything and you won't do better for the price.

This hotel was the nicest I've seen in a while. We checked in at almost midnight on a Friday and the front desk clerk was just as pleasant and friendly as if it was the middle of the day. The rooms were very nice, clean, and modern. I think everyone complains about hotel beds, but the super-soft pillows and warm sheets & blankets made up for it. My wife and I were only in town for the one night, so the hotel was okay. It was clean, reasonably comfortable, and the breakfast included was reasonably good, with plenty to choose from. The main down-side was the thin walls between rooms, we could hear every sound the amorous couple in the next room was making.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in a long time, very well maintained and cared for property. Bed was very comfortable and much better than most hotels at this price point. I brought my own pillows along and then proceeded to forget them! I called the next day and they immediately found them and offered to ship them to me for only a reasonable FedX charge. I was very impressed and grateful. Hotel was close to downtown (only 2 miles away) and was easy to get to. Hotel staff was pleasant and check in was painless.11 o'clock check out was a little early but a call to the front desk and arrangements were made for a noon check out. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Asheville area.
