"Not bad not good"
Your hotel is getting run down. It's evident in the quality of the furnishings and upkeep of the infrastructure. I would have expected better from the name RAMADA. Nice people work there; too bad more capital isn't put into it.

I had expected that the shuttle service to Mayo would be frequent. Instead I had to wait both going to the clinic and coming back a period of 45 minutes.

Loved the place! It was well decorated, clean, and the help were very helpful and kind. The location was convenient and the price was right. I would go back anytime!
We had 2 rooms. Both rooms were very poorly maintained...6x6 piece carpet cut out and spliced back together, wallpaper ripped and they tried to splice it back together, bathroom ceiling had been mudded but never finished, bathroom door would not latch shut and did not even have a lock on it, AC broke and room was VERY warm, one of our chairs was missing […] and the chair that was there had white stains all over it. Every time we go to Mayo, we stay at this hotel because it is clean, comfortable, and convenient. Sadly, the restaurant was open this time, but they still provided us with a wonderful complementary breakfast everyday. The pool was way too cold and this was our main reason for chosing this hotel was for the kids to play in the pool. The temperature was brought to hotel staff the day of check in and it was still very, very cold the next day before check out. Also the breakfast was terrible, donuts and muffins were stale, apple juice was watered down and terrible, eggs […] were discusting, very disappointed in the breakfast. "Ramada - Rochester"
We stayed in the Ramada because my son had to have surgery the next morning at St. Marys Hopital. The hotel was very clean and my son had fun at the water park. Will stay again and would highly recommend to others.
"Perfect for Mayo Clinic Patients"
Great staff. Complimentary breakfast hits the spot. Room was clean and comfortable. A very good value. Take the free shuttle to and from the clinic as traffic around the clinic and in the clinic parking lots can get very congested. Within walking distance of the Apache Mall (department stores, shops, and restaurants) and Trader Joe's.

We had the air set on 64 degrees and the temperature still to rise throughout the night. Very warm evening!!!
"Clean, but needs updating and maintenance"
For that cost I would have expected better. The lobby and restaurant were in very good condtition, but the room was dated. Our AC in the room did not work. This was a problem for 2 other family members in other rooms as well. The outlets did not power small appliances such as curling and flat irons. The furniture and TV were dated. "Needs updating"
Rooms need updating, room temp. was hot could not get it cooled down, I don't think the thermostat was working ! Shuttle service back & forth to Mayo Clinic was great, took alot of stress off.

Nice wading pool for granddaughter. Large water slide wasn't working (or turned on) at the time. Proximity to clinic and shopping was excellent. The restaurant was not too fancy byt the food was great.

I'm not sure if they just cleaned the carpets or something, but it felt really damp and muggy all night. Ice maker didn't work either. It was a really short trip, so there's not anything else we utilized with the hotel. Good location though.

"Restful and pleasant."
Every aspect of our stay at the Ramada in Rochester was surperb. From the moment we stepped into our room, we were filled with a feeling of relaxation and peace. The bathroom is large and the shower has really good pressure, as well as water quality is good. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner is quiet. Please take the time to eat some meals […] at Teresa's in the hotel. It was the best food we ate during our stay, and we did make it a point to try 3 other restaurants, one of which was pricey. We have stayed at this hotel several times. It is great, we have kids, its is very kid friendly, the waterslide is a deffinate plus, good breakfast in the mornings. Will deffinatly stay here again!

Forgot my bag at the hotel. An employee named Lloyd went beyond the call of duty to ship my bag back to my residence. He was working the night shift when I called and dropped my bag off at Fedex at 9 am when he was already off. Plus, the hotel rooms were super clean and comfortable!

"Ramada In in Rochester Minnesota"
The Ramada Inn in Rochester, Mninesota was by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The dirt in the tub was ingrained. We had to wear our swim shoes to shower. The floors, carpets and curtains were filthy. The bed appeared clean, but they did not change the sheets everyday. The toilet overflowed twice. The manger came to fix the toilet after […] we reported it,, and he noticed how filthy the shower curtain was and asked the housekeeper to replace it. I suggest that hotels.com stop listing this as a 3 star hotel. If I had not prepaid for this room and if I was not already in an emotional tailspin due to my visit to the Mayo clinic, I would have found another hotel. Another issue was that the room was near the pool area and the noise from that area was so loud, we couldn't hear our television at times. It was the absolute worse hotel I have ever stayed at. "Great Place! Waterslide!"
The hotel was comfortable and clean. The indoor waterpark was so great, although it made the inside of the hotel smell of chlorine. The service was great, but the dryer didn't work.

THe rooms were very nice, and the bed was super comfy. The pool area (which we didn't use) will bring us back here with our kids next time we're in town. They have a slide and other kid-friendly features there. My only complaint was the front desk help. I waited 10 minutes while the front desk workers were outside having a smoke break. "Needs Improvement"
We booked the hot tub suite for a romantic mini-get away. First, they put the hot tub suite right next to the pool. It was loud with screaming kids all night. Then, when using the most important feature of the room, the hot tub, the water was brown and rusty. When we contacted the front desk, they responded by "Well, it's just from not being used." […] Would it be too much to ask that when the room gets rented, they run the water for a few a minutes? I didn't think so. Then when we were cleaning out the tub to refil it with clean water, the faucet pops out and water goes EVERYWHERE! Not quite the romantic mini-vacation we had in mind. On a positive note, we did order room service and it was fantastic. We wouldn't have minded the noise of the pool, if we had brought our children. The Ramada is a great value in Rochester where many of the hotels are very expensive. The Ramada offers a nice room, a great breakfast that's included with the room cost and pool area for the kids. It's also close to Mayo facilities downtown and St Mary's Hospital. The breakfast was good but the tables were not cleared off. The room was clean but overall the doors and woodwork in the hotel need replacement, paint is not doing the trick. Not a bad place to stay but for the cost I have had nicer accommodations.

The rooms are adequate in size- we did not have one with a fridge but maintenance brought one to us right away. The breakfast was good- hot food and something for everyone. Pizza was not great, but prices for all hotel food is fair. Location is great- 5 min from mayo. "Needs a little improvement"
Carpet in room was a bit dirty. Hallways and stairs were much worst, but excusable due to winter conditions. Pool slide was not open (only open during weekends?).

the room was nice but the big spot of blood on the comforter was not and when asked for another comforter there was not any available. Paid a lot of money to sleep on the couch.

The bathroom smelled very bad. We had to have the fan on the entire time. I had read previous reviews and decided to take a chance but now wish I hadn't. THe beds were not very comfortable either.

the A/C cooler was not working... could not sleep the whole nite... But it had a convenient location.. I had to take a test at the Prometric centre.. that is on the same campus... Italian Restaurant attached to the hotel is good

The Ramada was next door to two shopping centers and basically right down the street from ST Marys hospital which my son was staying. A quick jump on the highway and 60 seconds I was getting off at the Hospital.

Kids LOVED the pool area! I just wish it had more seating for adults (on the weekends). Some of our friends who came to meet us at the hotel had to stand pool side to watch the children play. Needless to say, they only stayed a short time:(

the hotel was very nice with clean rooms and freindly staff also great way to go to the mayo clinic on the bus not having to worry about a place to park and you offered great rates compared to other hotels in the area.
