Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was good - several options. We were going to Iowa State University and this was about a 10 minute drive. Would stay again!

We stayed at the Country Inn Suites last weekend. The location was great - just a few minutes from the Hilton Coliseum and close to lots of restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only two little things were the heater in the room seemed to either go on robo-power or we had to turn it off. The "low" didn't work, but we never […] said anything about it either. The plumbing in our room was having issues, but the staff was very prompt in addressing our concerns. But the drain in both the sink and the tub needed attention

Very clean hotel room and hotel in general. Room was exactly what we needed and was clean and comfortable. Would definately stay again. Breakfast was good and hotel staff was very friendly. Thanks for a great stay

This hotel is exactly as advertised. Very safe, clean and I would recommend for a nice place to stay.

Even though this beautiful hotel is located near many colleges and businesses, it was delightfully quiet while close to freeways. The pool was warm and inviting. Breakfast was a feast. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Very affordable also. Try it out & you'll never stay at any other Ames, Iowa hotel.

This is a nice place but our AC wouldn't work and it was 90+ out so we changed rooms 2 more times to find a room that the AC worked.

close to main highways

I'm used to booking stays at hotels and having the double queen. This was the first time in a long time that I was treated to a king sized bed and it was fabulous! The linens were very comfortable and the pillowtop made the experience downright luxurious. The room was very comfortable with a heat pump type A/C unit. The beds were made up with excellent pillows and soft comforters you could weather any type of weather in. Baths were well-supplied with towels, soaps and just about anything you could want in hair products. Breakfasts usually consist of u-make 'em waffles, usually eggs and meat as well as […] rolls, fruits, juices, excellent coffee, and cereals--just about anything most folks prefer. There is usually a "Happy hour" every afternoon from 5:30-7:30pm featuring free adult beverages. There were some minor maintenance items that could stand some attention but overall the hotel is a great bargain. We will definitely stay there again. Lisätietoja

The hotel was clean and the pool was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was right off the interstate and not too far from gas station and food.

Hotel was easy to access, clean, and staff was very pleasant. Our destination was ISU, and hotel was easy to get to from University.

The hotel was not in a convenient location and the fact that we were not able to check in on time made it more inconvenient.

I stayed at the Country Inn and Suites because I was using their meeting room for a training. I found that a needed some extra copies and the front desk staff provided them very quickly. Both the room I stayed in and the meeting room were very nice.
