Checked into an uncleaned room, was told it would be a few hours before they would clean the room. Nothing works in the hotel, I got locked into the room and had to wait while they dissambled the lock so I could escape, Jacuzzi is not working, AC was barely working, shower floods the entire bathroom, bathroom ceiling leaks. They would not change my […] room. Ceilings are exposed with wiring in the common areas when you step off the elevator. Only 1 of the two elevators were working.This should not be listed as 3 stars 2 stars or even 1 star in my opinion. Lisätietoja

The front desk kindly directed me which path to take from the lobby down to the beach...but failed to advise that the beach was missing..just steps onto the wave washed rocks. Enter at your own risk...swim about 50m , to really reach the beach.

We were disappointed in our stay at Wyndham Sapphire Beach Club and Resort. Staff was neither friendly nor helpful. The activities desk could not help recommend or reserve restaurants, and the hotel had no concierge service to help with restaurants either. The room was average at best, with insufficient lighting to read a book after sunset. Internet […] was only available inthe lobby, not in the rooms. The on-site restaurant was average, with only two choices for breakfast. The beach on the property has washed away, and the closest beaches are about 1/2 mile away. Lisätietoja

Would never stay again. Upon our arrival we received our keys to the room and they didn't work. For 2 days we had to get somebody from the front desk to let us in our room until they fixed the lock. Our safe didn't work for the first day so we had to carry our valuables with us. The air conditioning was broken our whole trip so our room was damp and […] musty the whole time. We had a cockroach in our room that we put in a bag (still alive) and the front desk threw it away and stated it didn't matter. Our fridge didn't work the whole week and leaked so the floor was wet. We reported it right away and it never got fixed. A master key was given out to a guest because they were having problems with keys working. Remotes didn't match the TV. No turn down service some nights. Gate didn't work at night for the parking garage some nights. Staff VERY unfriendly!!!!! No free bottle of champagne as promised for signing up for their rewards program. Hot tub was disgusting so we couldn't use it all week. Everytime we would report things to the staff they would say "Can't take care of it until tomorrow" or " Come back tomorrow to see the manager" there was never a manager working. l had a nice suite with a jacuzzi on the patio -- very nice -- but the jacuzzi made me itch when l got out and l got several small red bumps on my butt the next day. l had to get maintenance to fix the A/C the 2nd day as it was only working about 30%, and when l woke the next morning in a sweat the room was very steamy.

This hotel is probably a nice hotel during peak or on season. I happened to go during September and I realize that it is off season but still expected a bit more. The cleaning staff was very unfriendly. The rooms had a microwave and full fridge which is always nice. There was a jacuzzi on the deck......which was lovely.

I expected a Wyndham three star hotel. It was obvious even before entering the hotel that the overall maintenance had been neglected, this held true for the room also. The room was much more comfortable than the common areas. The pool, restaurant and bar area were a bit better than the lobby, spa and hallway areas. This was my first trip to St. Maarten and after reading the reviews I was quite nervous about booking at the Wyndham Sapphire Beach Club & Resort but the price was too good to pass up! We just got back from our trip and I had to make sure to do a review… the hotel is really not that bad! A few things that I found true from the reviews (1) the front […] desk staff is truly indifferent. Don’t take it personally; I chalked it up to the laid back Caribbean culture. If you need something done, just ask (2) make sure to bring your hotel confirmation. We paid extra for the deluxe ocean view, and when we went to check in, the front desk agent tried giving us a standard room. I handed him our confirmation from hotels.com and everything was fixed. It is worth paying extra for the ocean view. (3) great location, cheap cab ride from airport and just far enough from the bright lights/casinos of the Dutch side but an easy walk/cab ride if you want visit those areas (4) The room numbers are in a strange order, just ask for directions to your room when checking in (5) From the street the hotel sign says Sapphire, not Wyndham. Just an fyi if it’s your first time visiting. (6) the hotel rooms do need some maintenance, but for the price you can’t complain. The pool area and lobby are great. A few tips… (1) We had some great food in St. Maarten, but not at the hotel. I would recommend dinner someplace else or buy some food from the market located in the hotel and cook in your room (we had a room w a kitchen). The restaurant/bar at the hotel is right by the pool, so good for a pool side snack or happy hour, just not for dinner. (2) the beach that is directly connected to the hotel is tiny; but a great, intimate location to watch the sunset. (3) there are 2 other great beaches walking distance to the hotel. (4) There is often live music at the bar area, nice touch if you want a lazy night at the hotel. Lisätietoja

les problèmes que j ai pu rencontrer une baignoire inutilisable car pas de bouchon pour remplir la baignoire,la terrasse non pourvue d'éclairage la lampe n'existais même pas, un coffre fort inutilisable, les robinets de la kitchenette n'étais pas fixés à l 'évier, la tv fonctionnais avec un ronflement qui empêche d 'entendre le film. wifi payant c'est […] a revoir , pas d'adaptateur pour les prises a la réception réflexion désobligeante du réceptionniste nous sommes en partie hollandaise peux être que les normes de l hôtellerie n'est pas les mêmes en hollande que dans le reste du monde . malgré plusieurs séjours convenables j'ai cette fois été très deçu Lisätietoja

I loved everything about this hotel! -the staff was very friendly and helpful and the bar had good food and drinks. The only downside about the hotelroom was all the mosquitos (but you can easily buy the thing you plug into the wall that keeps them away!) And Mullet beach that's in a walking distance is very beautiful! Would definately go back!
