I was attending a conference, it was in a great location for the conference but if you are going to Austin for sightseeing and being a visitor, you may want to be closer to the action.

This hotel is perfect in every way except the quality of the building. The folks above us sounded like elephants. If guests were walking by our door and they were talking, it sounded as though they were in the room. Of course the staff cant really improve the soundproofing at this point. We stayed here for a girl's weekend in Austin and it was the PERFECT choice. The bedroom separate from the living/kitchen area was ideal, along with the vanity separate from the shower/toilet. We loved the convenience of being within 5 minutes of all of our favorite shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again for our next retreat!

When staying at a Staybridge Suites, you expect a couple things: Comfort, Cleanliness, and some of the "nicer" things such as modern bathroom, spacious rooms, etc. All these were found at this Staybridge, but where they lacked was a basic understanding of keeping the hotel quiet, particularly when complaints are made. The people above me, from the hours […] of 6:30pm - 2:00am constantly ran around, dropped things, banged and stomped. Until 10:00pm I didn't mind because hey, not everyone has a 17 month old like do. However, when it didn't quiet down at 10:30pm to at least a reasonable amount of noise I called and asked the staff to quiet the room down. By 11:15pm, the noise actually got louder and it appeared that no staff had said anything. I called the front desk again, this time with a little more urgency as my daughter had now been woken up by the banging for the 3rd time since 8:30pm. They assured me it would be taken care of. By 12:30am, no change in noise level. It continued like this until 2:00am (I made one more call around 12:45am but had the same results, or lack of results). Lisätietoja

Wonderful location. Nice breakfast selection...week-day kitchen staff was amazing. They were really full on weekend and took awhile to get allergy free pillow. Very accommodating staff.

This hotel exceeded all expectations. The service was exceptional, the rooms were very nice and the property was beautiful. The hotel was totally a steal at the price I paid. I would drive extra miles to stay at this property again.

Did you know that a sofa bed is a bed? I specifically asked for a room with two beds and ended up sleeping on a sofa sleeper for three nights. The management at the hotel was unable to move rooms because they said they were completely sold out for all three nights we were there. My impression was that we were given a low priority because of the Hotels.com […] third party discount. In addition, the breakfast was almost inedible at this facility..literally. Friendly service, very clean hotel room. The kitchen was in superb condition and even has full size refrigerator, microwave, tupperware, tablewares. Large bathroom, also very clean. Our neighbors had 2 dogs in their room so it was a bit noisy, but otherwise it was a very nice experience. I wish I was staying there more than one night!

Our room was spotless, comfortable, spacious and very quiet. Staff was warm and helpful. There were a couple of minor irritations but they are worth mentioning. Internet: signal strength fluctuated and was frequently found to lose connection. Breakfast: The breakfast was not great; my husband ate it without complaint but I couldn't stand the weak, […] bitter coffee and found the only appealing items to be prepackaged yogurt, oatmeal, cereal and toast. The hot dishes were not appetizing, the fruit not really ripe. The waffle was just o.k. but the "breakfast syrup" not even close to maple syrup. Bed: A strange sort of "duvet" used for bedding was filled with feathers or foam that ALL went to one side of the duvet, making it lumpy and uneven in its warming ability. Bathroom: No window, no vent, no overhead heating. Austin is chilly in the winter after a shower. Housekeeping: "Light Touch Housekeeping" meant the bare minimum was done. The dirty sink stayed dirty. Weeknight reception in the evenings: a nice idea; however cafeteria quality food and cheap beverages for those who may care! PERKS! After driving 40 hours with a trailer and an unhappy feline, the room at Staybridge Suites was sheer heaven. Even in my exhausted, slightly insane state, Greg and Jeff were extraordinarily patient and got me checked in with absolutely no hiccups. I've stayed in many suite hotels in the Arboretum area and this is the first stay at the Staybridge. It won't be the last ! The hotel rates A plus . There is some construction but the staff is very courteous and the rooms are very clean .

The staff at Staybridge were friendly and very competent. The hotel itself was very clean and it is clear that management pays much attention to small details in the rooms and in the breakfast eating area. We stayed at our hotel on the busy holiday weekend. We were very comfortable with our room and were more than satisfied with the style of our accommodations. Having a kitchenette was a great way to utilize the convience of having a whole foods just minutes away. The free breakfast was okay. The only fresh fruit available were bananas and apples. I wish I could've landed a two-bed large suite, but the suite we got sufficed for our needs. It was very clean and comfortable, and close to all the places we planned on visiting (5-minute drive to plenty of restaurants, including Dave and Busters). It was in such a nice part of Austin and was really nicely decorated. It was only another $25 to have our dog there for the weekend. After we figured out how to turn on the ac (controls are on the wall lol) it was awesome. My absolute only complaint would be we didn't like the pillows. We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. The staff (front desk, cooks & housekeeping) showed great customer service. After we checked into our room, we asked for directions to a local restaurant. The two ladies at the front desk were more than happy to oblige. Since the computer room was under repair, they took the liberty of printing out the […] directions for us. We had stayed here before, and it was just as nice as the first time, if not better. There were several areas under repair, but they were still able to accommodate the needs of their guests. I would definitely recommend booking a room here. Great hotel, great price online. We have two kids so the separate bedroom from living area was terrific. The room had an updated kitchete which is good for those that want to bring groceries. Full size refrigerator, stove, sink and dishwasher in the room. Free laundry area, great ambiance in the rooms with modern updates. Very nice for price of stay. They were doing some remodeling however it was done in a way that you really didn't see it. Our room was great for 5 people and the staff that evening and the next morning were very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again without hesitation.

This was our 3rd time to stay at this hotel. This stay was in the one bedroom queen suite. Previously stayed in a two bedroom king/queen suite, as well as, a single spacious king room. All of these accomodations have been excellent. No matter what size room, this hotel is clean clean clean and very comfortable. The staff is very sweet. One time we had […] a ice maker in our freezer that wasn't working as fast as we wanted it to...and the front desk gal went to the kitchen and grabbed us a large bag of ice for us. Very over the top and accomodating. We've also enjoyed the large selections for breakfast, the pool and outdoor seating/dining options, as well as the complimentary movies for the DVD players in the rooms. Hotel was great! Room was big with kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. Great value. The breakfast room was being remodeled so our breakfast was somewhat less than expected but I assume that will be corrected when renovations are completed. We would definately recommend it to anyone and would stay there again.

This was a last minute "need to not be home" escape. The lady that worked the front desk was superb; she went out of her way to make our stay great.
