The hotel is perfectly located and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The breakfast was something we are not used to, thus we had our breakfast outside.

Pidimme hotellista, koska se oli lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä ostospaikoista esim. Manhattan Mall. Hotelli oli siisti ja aamupala mukava plussa. Sisälsi tosin bageleita, erilaisia donitseja, omenia, appelsiinejä kahvin (automaatti), teen ja kaakaon kera. Aamupalahuone tosi pieni ja ajoittain ruuhkainen, Samoin tarjottavat loppuivat varsin pian. Hotellin […] alakerrasta olevasta ruokapaikasta sai myös aamupalaa sekä muuta ruokaa kohtuu hintaan. Huoneestamme oli näkymä Empire State Buildingiin ja kooltaan se oli totuttua suurempi. Ainut miinus oli, että hotellissa oli kaksi hissiä, joista vain toinen meni 7.krs ylös päin (asuimme 11.krs:ssa) ja se hissi oli kaksi kertaa huollossa viikkomme aikana. Iso huone, neljälle hengelle sopiva. Siisti. Aamiaishuone tosi pieni, mutta mahdollisuus viedä aamiainen huoneeseen.

Tosi hyvä sijainti, kävelymatkan päässä monesta nähtävyydestä. Metro-asema oli melkein nurkan takana. Ympäristö ei ollut yölläkään turvattoman tuntuinen. Ystävällinen henkilökunta ja aamupalan voi viedä huoneeseen. Aamupala tyypillinen mannermainen:kahvia (starbuck,vastajauhettua), pullaa, bagelseja yms. We had a room for 4 person and we were quite happy with it! The room was much more bigger than presented in the pictures which was really nice surprise. Breakfast in the hotel was only dissapointing thing in our stay as it was not as goos as we expected it to be (only bagels and muffins were served, and those run out quite fast). Hotellihuone vastasi täysin hotelliesittelyssä olevia kuvia ja hotellihuoneestamme oli vieläpä näkymä Empire State Buildingiin, joka oli illalla valaistu eri värisin valoin. Huone oli erittäin tilava, tästä huolimatta säilytystilaa ei ollut paljoa (pari laatikkoa ja vaatetanko), tämä ei kuitenkaan häirinnyt. Emmekä törmänneet hotellissa lutikoihin (bed […] bug), joita kaupungin hotelleissa tuntuu olevan riittävästi. Hotelliesittelyssä mainittu manneraamiainen (continental breakfast) oli amerikkalaiseen tyyliin melko suppea: bagelsseja ja muffinsseja, ajoittain myös croissaintteja. Lisäksi appelsiineja ja/tai omenoita sekä kahta mehua ja kahvia & teetä. New Yorkissa tulee muutenkin syötyä paljon, joten aamupala oli täysin riittävä. Aamiaishuone on kovin pieni, joten aamiaisen pystyi tuomaan tarjottimella huoneeseen ja nauttimaan siellä. Hotelli sijaitsee keskellä "tukkukauppoja" (whole sales). Kauppojen mennessä kiinni välittömästi pohjoispuolella olevat kadut hiljenevät, sillä siellä ei ole paljoakaan ravintoloita. Enemmän elämää löytyy, jos lähtee alaspäin esim. Chelseasta löytyy paljon hyviä ruokapaikkoja kävelymatkan päästä. Hotellista oli helppo lähteä tutustumaan kaupunkiin kävellen sekä ylös- että alaspäin. Lähistöllä on muutaman korttelin päässä myös nähtävyyksiä kuten Empire State Builging, Flatiron, Madison Square Park, Madison Square Garden ja tietysti shoppailijalle Macy´s tavaratalo. Voin suositella ko. hotellia. Sijainti oli oikein hyvä ja metroasemakin ihan vieressä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen ja avulias. Hotelli oli siisti ja huone tilava.

Hotellin plussat & minukset: + hotellin sijainti + ystävällinen henkilökunta - aamiainen ala-arvoinen, kertakäyttö-astioista makeita bageleita. Toiveena saada leivän päälle edes siivu juustoa. :/ - 2:n hengen huone (kahdella vuoteella) pieni, ja hieman ummehtunut, luokitus voisi olla enemmänkin 2+ kuin 3.

The room was great and spacious, the hotel location was good - only negative thing: there was an office next to our room where people smoked, and that office was next to our room - ie. our room had quite a lot of sigarette smell... Apart from that - no complaints. Breakfast room was very small, but our hotel room had a table + two chairs, so we had […] our breakfast in our room instead... Hotel was within walking distance to the Gramercy Theater, Empire State Building, many great restaurants including the Eataly (Italian market and restaurants). The area gets a little iffy at night when the stores close up. Hotel was clean, nice size room and came with a generous continental breakfast. Good hotel, kitchen was small, continental breakfast good and always topped up. Comfortable room, would be great if Wifi was free. Not a luxury hotel but does everything you require from a hotel for sightseeing and shopping in NY, can't complain enjoyed our stay.

It was a good location about 5 blocks from the Empire state building and about 12 blocks from times square. The rooms were of decent size for being in New York. The hotel was out of date and very old, but this maybe typical of most hotels in that area. My only complaint was that I couldn't get the Wireless Internet to work. It wasn't free so I originally […] had to pay for it. After calling the techincal support which was of no help I called the front desk. It was late at night and the guy that answered was very rude and acted like I was bothering him by calling. my stay at the broadway plaza was great as usual.the young woman i usually deal with always gives me a particularly nice room.this time someone i never dealt with before checked me in.the room was nice a little smaller and i was in a corner room in the building where the hotel sign was with big bright lights shining on it.i woke up at 2am thinking it […] was morning because the light was so bright in the room.next time i will ask to not be near the sign.i once had a room by the elevators which was loud and once by the elevator shaft which also was loud.i now request not to be near the elevators or the shaft so i will now include the outside sign.these are not complaints,the hotel is very nice as is the staff and they are very accomadating.i stay there whenever i am in ny Lisätietoja

I was put in a room behind the elevator so everytime someone used the elevator there was a very loud noise throughout my room. when I called the front desk they were nice but said they were sold out and there wasn't anything they could do. I got about 3 hours of sleep.

Interesting location - street is quiet, but close to many things including great nightlife within 2 blocks (40/40 club and more!) Room was clean. Staff, including both doormen I encountered, were extremely helpful and friendly (maybe due to my gorgeous girlfriend...but whatever...) However, in-room wifi was horrible and not free.

The staff is so friendly and accomadating. I arrived to the hotel way earlier than check in time and they had a room ready for me within minutes! The rooms are large, especially for NY standards. I only heard a siren ONCE! Great place to stay at a very reasonable price. I usually stay at hotels that run about $400~$500 per night. Thinking that the more […] I pay the better service I'll get. It was a great place to stay. I could walk around to so many different places. Close to subway. Great breakfast. People were very friendly. Rooms clean. The only problem, was it was way too hot in the room. Had to sleep with the windows open and the street noise kept me from getting a lot of sleep.

Good value for the location. Can walk or short cab or subway to midtown and Chelsea, West Village. Street noise prevents sleeping in. Clean room, courteous staff. Skip the continental breakfast and walk two blocks to Stumptown Coffee.

The staff was friendly and helpful; location is in the garment district, so it's not so much a sight-seers destination, but easy access to all that; view of the empire state bldg from our bedroom window; the room and bathroom were clean and spacious; free continental breakfast; fast, efficient elevators; very reasonably priced; close to my daughter's […] apt. The ONLY downside was the smell of cigarette smoke on our floor; not so much in the room, but when we opened the door, it was as if someone had just been standing in the hallway smoking...every single time! I was veru satisfied and pleased with our stay at the Broadway Plaza. Room was nice, staff was very helpful, and location was not as bad as some reviews I read previous to booking stated. Very close to subway which was super convenirnt! Will be staying there again on our next trip to NYC!

The staff was very helpful and courteous, and my room reminded me of an English "bed-sitting room." it was L-shaped, so that it had a separate work-living area with a sofa, in addition to a king-sized bed. My nightstand had what appeared to be a burnt-out lightbulb; the night staff searched high and low for a fresh one, but advised me I'd have to wait […] for the Maintenance staffer the next morning to have it fixed. I switched the one out of the desk lamp, so that I could use the one on the nightstand. My wake-up call was prompt, and I was able to park my suitcase with the bellman while I went about my errands. The front desk staff greeted us very rudely! The lobby and the dining area on the fourth floor were both cramped spaces. However, the complementary breakfast was excellent!
