Sijainti.
Kaupungissa Fort Lauderdale sijaitseva The Pillars Hotel on Strip-kadulla ja lähellä kohteita The Gallery at Beach Place, Bonnet House -museo ja puutarhat ja Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. Lähistöllä ovat myös International Swimming Hall of Fame ja Galleria.
Hotellin palvelut.
Majoitusliikkeen (liiketoimintaan sopiva hotelli) ravintolapalveluihin kuuluvat ravintola ja baari / aulabaari. Huonehintaan sisältyvä langaton ja langallinen Internet-yhteys on käytettävissä yleisillä alueilla. Tämän 4-tähden majoitusliikkeen (hotelli) liiketoimintapalveluihin kuuluvat kokoushuone, limusiinipalvelu ja AV-laitteet. Henkilökunta voi järjestää: concierge-palvelut, matkajärjestelyt / lippupalvelu ja hääpalvelut. Hotellissa on muun muassa seuraavat lisäpalvelut: ulkouima-allas, kirjasto ja kielitaitoinen henkilökunta.Itsepysäköinti sisältyy huonehintaan. Hotellissa on tupakointialue. Tämän hotellin kunnostustyöt valmistuivat: syyskuu 2010.
Vierashuoneet.
Vierashuoneissa on joki, kaupunki tai allas. The Pillars Hoteln 18 ilmaistoidussa huoneessa on tallelokerot (kannettava tietokone sopii) ja ilmainen sanomalehti. Vuoteissa on petauspatja-patjat, Frette-lakanat , kolme lakanaa ja untuvaselkätuki. Ilmainen langaton nopea Internet-yhteys on käytettävissä. 32-tuumainen LCD-televisio, joissa on parhaat satelliittikanavat ja DVD-soitin, ovat saatavissa. Huoneissa on työpöydät ja kaiutinpuhelin sekä ilmainen vastaajapalvelu. Kylpyhuoneissa on suihkut, kylpytakit, designer-hygieniatuotteet ja meikkaus-/parranajopeilit.
Lisäpalveluihin kuuluvat hiustenkuivaaja ja silitysrauta / -lauta. Lisäksi huoneen kunnostus (turndown-palvelu) on tarjolla iltaisin, siivouspalveluita on saatavilla päivittäin ja pyynnöstä saatavissa oleviin palveluihin kuuluu hieronnat huoneessa. Kaikki hotellin The Pillars Hotel vierashuoneet ovat savuttomia.

Hotelli oli helppo löytää ja katettu ilmainen parkkipaikka oli hyvä. Bank Atlantic Center ja Sawgrass Mills kävelymatkan päässä.Todella siisti hotelli ja tilava huone. Varusteena mikroaaltouuni oli positiivinen yllätys. Sisääntulon yhteydessä sai ilmaiset suklaacookiet! :) Viivyimme hotellissa vain yhden yön, joten emme ehtineet hyödyntää kaikkia hotellin mahdollisuuksia, esim allasosastoa ja fitness centeriä.

Olimme hotellin asiakkaina maaliskuussa 2012 1,5 viikkoa. Hotellissa tehtiin tuolloin pientä pintaremonttia, joka ei kuitenkaan haitannut asumistamme ollenkaan. Lastenallas ja tenniskenttä olivat pois käytöstä, ovia ja ulkoalueita maalattiin, eivät haitanneet menoa. Aamupala sisältyi hotellin hintaan ja aamiaisaika oli 8-11, joskus ovet avattiin myöhemmin (eräänä aamuna 9.05), mutta aamupala oli runsas ja syötävää. Huone oli siisti, joka päivä huone oli päiväsaikaan siivottu. Parveketta huoneessamme ei ollut, en tiedä oliko oikeastaan kenelläkään joilla oli merinäköala huoneesta? Yhtenä iltana pikkukeittiömme lattialla oli 3 torakkaa, muuten saimme olla rauhassa ötököiltä. Hissejä oli kolme (hotellissa oli yli 10 kerrosta) ja hissit olivat kovassa käytössä, ja siksipä ehkä melko hitaat. Allasalue oli siisti (paitsi yhtenä päivänä kun pari poikaa kantoi aamupalansa altaalle eivätkä korjanneet roskiaan pois...) Allasalueelta pääsi rannalle, mutta portti oli lukossa ja takaisin hotellialueelle pääsy oli siitä kiinni oliko allasalueella joku ystävällinen joka avasi portin. Allasalueella oli myös baari, josta sai juotavaa ja pientä purtavaakin päivisin. Hotellin alakerrassa oli pari pikkukauppaa, ja hinnat tietysti sen mukaiset. Seuraavaksi lähimpiin kauppoihin oli jonkin verran kävelymatkaa, bussilla tosin pääsi helposti ja halvalla mm. South Beachille ja toiseen suuntaan ostarille (Aventura Mall) ja halvempiin päivittäistavarakauppoihin. Alueella on paljon espanjankielisiä, mutta pärjäsimme myös englannin kielellä. Hotellissa oli ympärivuorokautinen vartijapäivystys. Auton sai vuokrattua hotellilla sijaitsevasta autonvuokraamosta. Ajo Miamissa oli melko vauhdikkaan näköistä, joten me tyydyimme ajelemaan bussilla edestakaisin :) Alakerrasta löytyi tourist-info, joka järjesti asiakkaita erilaisille retkille, halvemmalla kuin varsinaiset tour-paikat. My husband and I stayed at the Pillars Hotel for 3 nights before heading off on a cruise, the hotel completely exceeded our expectations. The staff were so friendly and greeted us with a welcome drink and could not do enough for us. When ever we are in F. Lauderdale again we will definantly stay here. This is a romantic, quiet, hidden gem. We stayed over Christmas, and though the hotel was fully booked, we felt like we had the property all to ourselves. "The Pillars Hotel"
This was the perfect setting for a romantic weekend. The Hotel is charming, understated, sophisticated. The rooms were large, and very comfortable. The location was delightful, an easy walk to everything, the beach, charming cafes, wonderful restaurants....yet just far enough away to be quiet. I do have one concern to share. The hotel seems to send […] a mixed message....It is a quaint romantic discovery, but also a setting for the locals to host evening events. It is a small property, so the staff serves double duty....I understand. Two nights during my stay, these events took over the property. When I called to the front desk no one answered, nor responded to my message. My needs went unmet. Each evening when the events were over the staff cleaned up, and moved furniture till late into the night....It was amazingly loud. Did they drop a couch down the stairs? Maybe. To my fellow travelers I would ask when making reservations for my romantic get away if any events were on the schedule. If there are I would think twice before booking. Will I return to this hotel. "Great little hotel"
The Pillars is a great little, quiet, hotel, located about a minute's walk from the Ft. Lauderdale beach and "strip." I had been at a luncheon meeting with other wannabe screenwriters and didn't want to drive back home to Sarasota, and so spent the night there. Will definitely stay there next time in Ft. Laudeerdale!

"it was just amazing"
we had such a great time at the hotel! it soo beautiful. not comparable with chainhotels. its a cute little place with so nice people. its very quiet. a little paradise on earth. the beach is just 5 minutes away, walkingdistance. you have a great view of the fort lauderdale water streets. the hotel has its own little dock, where you can enjoy your dinner,breakfast […] etc or you can just relax at the pool. we stayed there for 4 nights in 2 different rooms. and then we drove down to the keys, which we didnt enjoy so much, so we came back to fort lauderdale, and decided to stay longer at the pillars. they were soo nice. they gave us even the oceanfront suite for the same price as the normal king size room. it was just great. such a beautiful place. we will definitely come back! We had a great stay in this hotel. staff is very friendly. the realy only thing i could complain on, is, that for breakfast was only one person serving and then waiting time was a little bit long. but its just one minute to beach, it's close to some nice restaurants. i recommend this hotel.

Great boutique hotel - perfect for weekend getaway. Clean rooms - rated 4 for cleanliness because bedding did not look clean. Overall appearance of hotel is beautiful. It's not a mainstream hotel on the strip but it's just close enough of a walk to the beach and restaurants.

Choosing to stay at The Pillars was the best decision I could have possibly made. A few night there before and after a cruise was a holiday in itself. The hotel was beautifully appointed, the staff could not have done more to make my stay an enjoyable one, the food was sumptuous, and the setting intimate. This hotel quickly felt like a second home. […] It's location in Fort Lauderdale is ideal, being on the Intracoastal Canal, and only two minutes walk to the beach. Bear in mind that the Pillars is a boutique hotel, having just eighteen rooms, which vary somewhat in size and level of appointment; A phone call prior to making a booking will ensure that your accomodation will meet your expectations, and you may also book a Town Car if arriving by air (actually cheaper than a cab). The Pillars is also a Water Taxi stop, making for easy access to shopping and general sightseeing on the Intracoastal Waterway. If "Big" is your style, and you prefer the anonimity found in a crowd, stay somewhere else! If however, a quiet, personal atmosphere, where you are far more than a room number is what you are after, I would suggest that The Pillars is the best choice possible in Fort Lauderdale. Spenderade fem nätter på hotellet. Det känns som om man bor på någons mansion, inte som ett hotell. Personalen är oerhört serviceinriktade och tillmötesgående! Restaurangen är fantastisk!
Et utrolig koselig hotell , med en vennlig og hjelpsom betjening. Nydelig utsikt over kanalen, og kort vei til stranden. Vi storkoste oss her, og kan anbefale dette hotellet på det varmeste.

Versteckt und nur einen Steinwurf vom Strand entfernt befindet sich dieses kleine Hotel. Direkt an der Intracostal gelegen, ein Traum. Wir verbrachten in diesem schnuckeligen Hotel 12 Naechte . Es fehlt an Nichts. Das Haus ist liebevoll gefuehrt und das dazu gehoerige Restaurant "Secret Garden" ist wohl eines der schoensten und besten in der Gegend […] mit individuellem Service und tollem Essen. je recommanderai cet hotel mais j'ai été malgré tout un peu déçue. Douche italienne sympa...sauf quand l'eau ne s'évacue pas et inonde tout!! on a eu un petit compagnon de route, un lézard pris au piège dans notre salle de bain. Rien de mal, mais ça surprend! à part ça, personnel charmant et cadre agréable, à proximité de la plage.
