Sijainti.
Rannalla, kaupungissa Hastings (Christ Church) sijaitseva The Savannah on lähellä seuraavia kohteita: Garrison Savannah, Brownes Beach ja Barbadoksen parlamenttirakennukset. Muita kiinnostavia kohteita lähellä tätä kylpylähotellia ovat George Washington House ja Barbadoksen museo ja historiallinen yhdistys.
Hotellin palvelut.
Hotellissa The Savannah on täydet kylpyläpalvelut, ulkouima-allas ja kuntokeskus tai -sali. Tämän 3,5-tähden hotellin liiketoiminnan palveluihin sisältyvät liiketoimintakeskus, kokoushuoneet pienille ryhmille ja AV-laitteet. Henkilökunta voi järjestää: concierge-palvelut, hääpalvelut ja tilaisuuksien tarjoilut. Hotellissa on muun muassa seuraavat lisäpalvelut: lahjaliikkeet / lehtikojut, ilmainen sanomalehti aulassa ja huonepalvelu (rajoitettuina aikoina).Asiakaspysäköinti sisältyy hintaan.
Vierashuoneet.
The Savannahn 98 ilmaistoidussa huoneessa on tallelokerot ja kahvin-/teenkeitin. Huoneissa on nopea Internet-yhteys. Televisioissa on parhaat satelliittikanavat. Kylpyhuoneissa on suihku / amme-yhdistelmä, kylpytakit, hiustenkuivaaja ja hygieniatuotteet (sisältyvät hintaan).
Lisäpalveluihin kuuluvat silitysrauta / -lauta ja kattotuuletin. Lisäksi vierashuoneissa on saatavissa pyydettäessä: hieronnat huoneessa ja herätyssoitto. Huoneen kunnostus on tarjolla iltaisin ja siivous on saatavissa päivittäin.

We were 9 days in hotel Butterfly in july 2011. The hotel was a positive surprise, as we thought it wouldnt be on the beach (hotels.com map shows there is a distance to the beach). However, the hotel is right on the beach and the beach is actually a very nice, white sand, "private" beach. And if that is too small, there are other beaches just nearby. Hotel staff was nice and the hotel has a swimming pool plus 4 swirlpools, where it's nice to relax etc. loads of sunbeds aswell and you are able to move them to the beach. There is a restaurant at the hotel, where they have different menus lunchtime and dinnertime etc. We didnt have breakfast included, so we didnt eat the breakfast at the hotel as it would have been really expensive. I would like to also mention, that there werent really any restaurants nearby, except maybe a few.. and a nice chinese restaurant across the street. Hotel is perfectly situated if you want to enjoy laying in the sun and swimming in the perfect light-blue caribbean sea. But as I said, you need to take a taxi or a bus to get to restaurants or night-life (there is a gentemans club across the street aswell). Oistin's mall is like 1 km away, so you can easily walk there, though. Our hotel room had everything we needed. We bought groseries and made breakfast there ourselves. If you are very sensitive to noise, you might be disturbed by neighbour rooms tv or the sound from the street. There are a lot of things to do in Barbados (cruises, snorkling, adventure trips), and the hotel staff can help you with those. I would recommend this hotel :)

This hotel has alot of potiential to be a really good hotel, one thing that i didnt not like was the fact that housekeeping did not change our sheets the entire weekend. They did leave a flyer indicating "to save water" or something like that, however i would have much rather them change them. "Good overall"
The hotel is very well located close to main attractions of Bridgetown, Oistins and other parts of the island. Close to police station (security) and doctors as their beach is not well taken care of and my girlfriend stepped on something in water that'd caused some issues with her health which were resolved promptly. "Old hotel with character but service could be bett"
Located just outside Bridgetown, we found the check-in process "just acceptable". Smiles were hard to come by, and no one helped us unload our heavy bags from the taxi. The room was clean but nothing to write home about. Some of the corridors and public spaces were littered with conference equipment and used as "storage areas". If you're on business, it's ok...but if Accra or Hilton has room, I'd stay there. Breakfast was ok but dinner was very good. Room service was quick and courteous.

I have stayed many times at this hotel over the past ten years for business. It's government owned and operated and you can tell.
