The hotel and rooms are very outdated. The first room was dirty, the second room didnt look very good either. There is a nice bar by the beach and breakfast was excellent.

The hotel was a little dated. No mini-frig in the room,the phone did not work,one of the beds was very worn, but the ocean view was excellent! Right on the deck of the pool. Service was excellent,very friendly staff. I would stay here again for the price-price for the view and location was excellent!

It was a comfortable, older motel room. Plumbing could be updated, but was adequate. The location can not be beat - right on the beach. A very relaxed atmosphere. The pool was nice. The patio dining area afforded one with a view of the rising sun over the ocean and a wide panoramic view of the beach. The worst hotel I ever saw. The bugs crawling on the floor were the size of my hand, and the smell of mold awful. It almost destroyed my vacations, but I was lucky to find a new hotel for the remaining six nights.

I never gripe, but this place stunk! No one was there to check us in. The bar is overpriced for a little plastic cup. The ice machine is only close to 4 rooms. It smells like bleach and mold. You can hear through the walls. They have hidden charges. The beach was only wide enough for seaweed. Planned on a nice night at the beach as a reward, ended up […] going back home. Didn't even stay. We enjoyed the location and the beachfront area during our stay at this hotel. the pool and upper balcony provided a great experience during our stay!

I booked the room because I was impressed with the pictures on your web site. However, the pictures didn't show the dumpy room that we got. The toilet seat cover was broken, there was no tub stopper so I could take a bath, there was a spot on the wall where there had been a water leak, there was no carpet, and they didn't offer hand soap. The location is the only good thing you can say about this hotel and even then, it's about to succomb to the ocean. Not enough sand to place a chair. Could be a heck of a lot better with minor improvements, like soap somewhere in the room, and ditch ALL the plastic plants! We would label this place kitschy and "shabby chic". A hidden gem in the midst of numerous high rises, but not within easy walking distance of anything other than the beach. Tides Bar and Grill onsite had great food and drinks.

We called the room the cave, it smelled, the airconditioner sounded like an airplane taking off. Housekeeping provided no towels, whenever they cleaned. The pool had no towels. There is no care for beach front, the resturant and bar closed early one of our night which left us to go accross to the mainland and that'sNot a very good neighborhood!!! More of a Party spot "Spring Break" type of place.

If you don't mind a bare bones motel room, you are in a prime Palm Beach Location with lovely ocean front dining right there. Front desk not big on customer service!

This hotel is in the midst of upgrades...the walls in our room were freshly painted, there was new furniture in the room and mini-fridges were available (although we learned they were not in every room). The bathroom, although clean, was in need of upgrades (the grout was discolored and some of the tiles were loose on the outside of the shower and the […] sink drain was discolored), but it was completely functional and clean. The location and convenience to the beach was wonderful. Our room included a full, hearty breakfast (but not juice and coffee or tea). Desk clerk in a poor mood due to guest complaint. That should have been red flag not to stay. Place was difficult to find. Room had some trash and dirt behind bathroom door. place was dark and definitely did not even have glimpse of ocean. Walked to pool-full of kids and people not staying at place. DISGUSTING CONDITION - hole in the bathroom door...mattress stuffing coming out...bathtub full of rust - we arrived at 1am and checked out at 8am. Never again!!!!

Hotel was right on beach. For the price, it was nice. Its an older hotel, but for location and overall quality, i would stay there again, I was very pleased.

The best thing about this motel was the breakfast and the senic view from the dining area. Enjoyed the service provided. The rooms were needing much help, terribe mattress, 1990 tv, bathroom needed work, had to walk up the hill for ice. Payed more for this room than at the Hilton in Hawaii, what a horrible experience.

HAD mold in a room furniture was old and the bathroom was flooded while you i was talking shower,it was very disappointed hotel.but never again

Ok first I would say the only little issues that were there was the phone did not work the whole time I was there though I did not pay much attention to it. This hotel was cool once you get past them trying to squeeze some extra money out of you with the deposit/ fee. The location was really good and the atmosphere was cool. The people at the desk, the bar, and the restaurant, were all excellent. The pool area is very nice. The view is excellent. The rooms are simply not close to what they could/should be. Can't recommend the facility due to the shortcommings, but I would visit the bar and restaurant whenever I am in the area.

Hotel is old but very clean room is spacious bathroom does not have tub but shower nice, location is great I have 2 kids both young so we could walk to beach with ease. Hotel is very convenient and staff pleasant. Recomment not paying the expensive Ocean view. (a) cannot really see the ocean because of the deck fense in front of room obscuring the view, and (b) there is a loud generator/condensor located outside of the rooms on the upper deck facing the ocean. Don't know where to start... I did read other reviews, so I guess I was prepared...possibly the worst hotel room I've ever stayed at...no updates at all for maybe 30 years? It smelled yucky... perfect location, but the room had that stuffy smell. The toilet leaked, the hotel was very old. No flat screen t.v. or refrigerator. I never took off my sandals as I had that feeling that it was not clean. The shower curtain rod was rusty and when you pulled back the curtain it flaked off, yuk!

The rooms have no safe (spoke to other guests, as well). No chain across door; furniture is all wood-laminate; the complimentary "continental breakfast" is one choice only, and coffee is NOT INCLUDED! No cup or glass, only soap for toiletries in room, and there was a (repaired) hole over the shower area. Sadly this hotel was not enjoyable. We only spent enough time in the room for sleeping which was not comfortable. There was a strange bug in the bathroom that resembled the smallest baby alligator I ever saw. Paperthin and about an inch long. It was in the bathroom and then there was a dead one on the stairs. The room had food still in fridge from previous […] guests. We weren't given enough towels one had hair on it and the other looked like it had a rust stain. There was no breakfast included as hotels.com stated you had to eat at the restaurant on site and for dinner the entrees were averaging $25. There was hair and dirt in the sheets and the rooms are all accessible from the outside(doesn't make you feel safe). There is some type of police station across the street. Great Ocean View location. One of the few located on the Ocean, which was important to us as travelers. Service was very good. Restaurant food was excellent.

The hotel is right on the ocean. Surfers breakfast provided was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beds not very comfortable, toilet seat needs to be replaced. All in all not bad.

Hotel in degraded condition, not full filling the reservation I made and paid in advance. The breakfast for 4 was included in the reservation but they charged to me 2 (my sons) and the coffes as well. Keep away from this hotel and his restaurant.

We've stayed here twice in last month - only because it's the cheapest we could find in this area & the bar looking over ocean is nice! Last room had DVD this one did not - last room had NO frig, this one did. Go figure ? We ask the desk clerk if they have any rooms w/refrig & she says they do but very few & no one actually knows which rooms have them […] !! Then we get to our room & we have a frig, although it was very rusty & old. Also this time we had to hook the TV up ourselves & then the remote did not work because it belonged to another TV. Run-down MOTEL -- not HOTEL. All rooms outside entrance (on a hill). Needs major updating! Bathroom ceiling LEAKED when it rained. Phone in room did not work. Couldn't get cell service in room. Internet connect so weak, I couldn't use it! Had to leave!

Great location in South Palm Beach, right on the ocean for a reasonable price. the pool, bar ,sundeck and restaurant are fabulous, very good food, nice staff. The rooms could be renvovated soon, especially the bathrooms, .....a little moldy. no refrigerators, no blankets.Very good breakfast. Nice staff. A good value

If you like to be outside in the sun this is the place for you. Beautiful views, good food great. If you like to stay in your room go somewhere different. This is a hotel for anyone that wants to be outside.

This motel is very old and has never been updated. The TV is a 15" TV from the 1970's. The bathroom was tiled but no toilet paper holder on wall. The rooms need updating to justify a high nightly rate.

My wife and I wanted a little get away close to home. Our toilet did not flush, the phone to call the loby was broken . The room smelled like bleach covered mold... I would not recommend this place to any one .. The drinks at the pool were very weak and over priced. The so called heated pool was cold as ice..
