Excellent hotel. Would definitely stay again. Great breakfast.

Really enjoyed our stay. I was surprised by the yummy breakfast. Only issue, was the television in the living room was obviously very old, and made a loud noise making it hard to hear the shows.

If you stay here on the weekend and your room is on the east side of the hotel, you get a lot of noisy college kids going uptown and what not. They really should ask if you want non smoking, because they gave me a smoking room, and it smelled of cigarette smoke horribly, I even tried " febreeze " , but that didn't touch the smoke stench. We rented this room because of a family funeral. I am actually hoping for another chance to stay there, it was that nice. We have never experienced such genuinely nice staff at a hotel. They were great! The rooms were wonderful, and the rate was affordable for us.

This is the second year I have stayed at GrandStay Residential Suites for several nights during a conference stay at the convention center. Hotel and room very clean, staff very friendly and attentive. I liked the quietness of the suite after a long day of rushing from class to class and the noisy setting with lots of people. I'll be back again.

I found the hotel to be great, The pool was kind of warm, the hot tub was hot, perfect.

great service, clean and friendly staff but most uncomfortable bed and pillows. cheap and hard as a rock.

The hotel and room were clean and well kept. The rooms full kitchen even came with plates, cups, cutlery and a dishwasher. The only complaint was that the bed was hard for our liking.

Very cosy hotel with great service and a lovely atmosphere

I've stayed at this hotel before and had a better experience. This time, I got a tremendous deal via Hotels.com, but the hotel gave me a room right on the highway. It was very noisy and difficult to sleep, and the bed was among the worst I've ever tried to sleep on .

The Grandstay is conveniently located, good breakfast, friendly staff and nice rooms. Mine had a kitchen, sitting areas and a separate bedroom - all very comfortable. I wold definitely recommend it and have already done so to my Mother who celebrates High School reunions in the city.

I stayed here overnight with my daughter and had a wonderful experience. Our room was VERY clean. There were plenty of towels, extra bed linens and pillows. Loved the separate living room/kitchen from the bedroom. Full size fridge, 2 burner stove, dishwasher, dishes and microwave were all a huge plus. The pool was a comfortable temperature - small […] but fulfilled our needs. Hot tub was nice. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding! I have had many a hotel breakfast, but this was by far the nicest! Beautiful hotel and wonderful service!

Very comfortable accomodations, especially when staying multiple nights. Accomodating staff. Once I learned about the 'back' parking lot, there was no problems with parking space.

the bed was hard and the pillows smelled like lysol--other than that it was very nice.

We stayed over night on New Years Eve. Our room was clean and felt very private. Not only were the rates very reasonable for an expected busy night, but the check in was @ 3:00 pm so we could make a dinner in the small kitchen before going out. Highly recommend it if your visiting or just want to get away from the kids for the night.

I spend 5 -6 days at the Grand Stay and most of the time was spend in the room. I had a lot of computer (3) work to do for my son. I didn't eat the breakfast in the morning. I did get grocery so I could have the protein, veggies and fresh fruits that I like. It was nice to have a full size refrigerator in the room. My son and I did enjoy the 5th ave […] restaurant down town. Nice NY steak includes soup or salad and potato of choice. No waiting and very relaxing. Best kept secret in town. Their food is reasonably price and very good. Everyone I came in contact with at the hotel, was friendly and nice to talk too. They all made us feel welcome and at home. I did park in the handicap stalls in front of the hotel. I never had any issues with the parking or driving down town. The mall and restaurants all within walking distance. Very nice hotel and I would recommend it.

After traveling for the past 15 yrs, i have never heard of let alone stay at a Grand Stay Hotel, but I wish this was the norm for hotel standards. They had a kitchen, separate living room & bedroom with a great comfortable bed, the decor was very classy everything was clean and up to date. The lobby was very inviting and the staff was always attentive, pleasant, courteous,efficient and available to make your stay wonderful. It was nice to have the bedroom separated from the living area. We would stay here again!

This was a fantastic place to stay for our business convention. Clean rooms, wonderful food, excellent service. The only issue I had was that parking was very limited and went into the surrounding neighborhood. But other than that, would highly recommend.

The hotel can be a little difficult to find if you are unfamiliar with the area. Parking can also be an issue since the front lot is small and the back lot you have to drive around the block to get to. Overall the hotel was great; clean room, great breakfast choices, and nice pool & spa area. Hotel staff was also very friendly.

This very nice hotel was unfortunately located directly between the bars and the college dorms. Lots of loud drunk students trolling through the parking lot after 1:00 a.m. each night I stayed. I stayed here because it was very close to the St. Cloud Civic center where I had an event. The hotel smelled strongly of cleaner or something to cover up another smell.... very strong! It seemed clean but hate strong smells. The table/desk in the room is so high that it was difficult to eat or work on. Wonderful friendly staff, from the front desk clerk at check in ; to the cheerful housekeeping ladies . I will stay here everytime I am in St. Cloud ! A pleasure.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would stay again. The only issue was the bathroom floor and shower weren't cleaned properly. My complaint was handled well by the front desk.

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The pool was small but still very fun. The hotel is close to a busy road so there is noise well into the night, but it was tolerable. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Courteous, clean, comfortable, convenient and quiet...all the important things were well represented here.

Two of my teenagers and I spent one night here and were so incredibly happy with the hotel. The staff was very friendly and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite so that my teenage son did not have to sleep on the hide a bed. Each room had it's own TV, A/C controls and doors for privacy therefore truly making it a 2 bedroom suite. There was also a kitchen […] and a dining room (can't remember if there was a stove). It was literally like a little apartment. We were so happily surprised and wish we could have stayed longer. The suite was very clean, roomy and comfortable. The bedding was yummy with extra, comfortable pillows and high quality blankets. Our family travels quite a bit and this is was definitely one of the nicest in this price range that we have ever stayed at (VERY reasonable). They had a little store to buy snacks, refrigerated food and other necessities with a wide selection. We did not regret not stopping at the store beforehand because they offered such a variety of items at the same prices you would pay for at a convenience store. The breakfast was your above average continental breakfast...cereal, fruit, waffles, muffins, etc. In addition they served biscuits & gravy which was an appreciated addition. I can't say enough about the staff. They were wonderful! Very professional, friendly and eager to do anything that would make our stay nicer, especially Paul on the nightshift. He was great! If I had to say anything negative at all it would be that the pool was on the smaller size although we didn't swim because we arrived later. Also, since it is also on the main road through St Cloud, some may find it a bit noisy. We didn't however and had a great nights sleep. The most kid-friendly hotel we have stayed at! Can't beat a hotel with a pool, playground and pantry! Location wasn't bad but it was college move-in weekend and it showed! Only thing I would change is the showerheads or water pressure, and that's saying a lot! :)

We stayed 2 nights at the Grandstay Hotel in St Cloud. It was our first time in Minnesota and this hotel was an excellent base for visiting the area, as well as being central in St Cloud. This hotel was picked for a family reunion. The hotel was great & the people were even greater. They did everything that they could to make this a great family reunion for us. Excellent.

If you are staying in the St. Cloud area, this is a MUST visit!! Great value for the price, lots of amenities, friendly staff, and a nice breakfast on my way out the door. Will definitely stay there again.

Hotel staff was courteous and pleasant. Room was clean, liked the layout and appointments. Asked for a delayed checkout and were very accommadating. Would recommend the Grand Stay to any one.

This is my second time staying at this hotel; it's a great location, less than 5 minutes from my client and I like that I have the option of making my own meals, if I want, and walking to stores or eating places.
