Convenient Road House next to parking lot for dinner to callit a full day

Are first night at about 11p.m. we called and went down to front desk no one around

decent breakfast... small but adequate pool

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Pool was clean. Nice place to stay. Would recommend.

Hotel was clean, but there was a strong chemical smell in our room. Later found out it was over the pool. Comfortable overall.

my stay at the hampton inn in scottsburg indiana was good. the staff was very pleasant and very understanding the issues that had come up due to hotels.com error. i would gladly stay with them again, but would not use hotels.com to set up my arrangements

With the service, comfort, affordability, and overall experience we have had at this hotel in the past, there was no question where we were going to stay when we visited reletives down south this year.

The pool closes at 10pm, which isn't bad except that we came from the central time zone and this hotel is in the eastern time zone. So, it was actually 9pm (for us) when the pool closed. Our kids were not yet ready to go to bed and we arrived about 15 minutes before the pool closed. It was a bummer for everyone. Front desk clerk at check-in was wonderful. We were in town for a funeral, so it wasn't the best of times, but she made us feel welcome. Pool was a great unwind for kids who had been cooped up in van and then had to set quietly in funeral home. We overslept and didn't get to enjoy the breakfast, but it looked and smelled delicious. I have never stayed at a nicer hotel for the price. The room was very clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The breakfast was excellent.

This was not a good experience. I normally enjoy staying at a Hampton but this one did not have good quality air . I actually did not stay in the place because I couldn't breath the smelly air in the place. My husband and son did stay. I ordered a room w/ 2 doubles (the beds were so small they were like 3/4 beds) w/ a roll away bed and NO Smoking. When […] my husband checked in he was told we were in a smoking room. He knew that wouldn't work as I am allergic to smoke so he switched rooms. He was told no roll away was ordered. Just not a good experience so I left. Sorry. The hotel staff made us feel very welcome. The rooms were very clean. The pool was very nice and clean. The breakfast was always nice and fresh. All hotel staff was very friendly.

The staff was very friendly and our room was clean. The only complaint I would share is that the hallway outside our room smelled of smoke, even though the floor was non-smoking. Fortunately the smell was only in the hallway.

The Hampton in Scottsburg is just wonderful. We had such a pleasant stay. Everything from the staff to the breakfast was great. Couldn' t have asked for a more pleasant experience.

I was disappointed that this location did not have a business office so that I could use a computer and fax.
