Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center - Plano

Bell boy service was not good. He didn't.t stay while my check in.

There are two problems in particular with this hotel that led to a miserable sleeping experience at this hotel. First of all, the bedding is not comfortable. The sheets, pillows, and comforter are made out of an indestructible synthetic material that makes a loud scratchy sound when you shift around in bed, thereby guaranteeing to wake up your bed partner. […] The same material does not breathe well so with the covers on you are hot and sweaty. With them off then you get cold of course and so on and so forth. The second major problem with this hotel is their proximity to the Shops at Legacy. Apparently this is the place to stay when you want to stay out all night get drunk, and have a place to stumble back to. It never occurred to me that the Marriott, which has a good reputation, would be the "party" hotel where people are free to stumble about at 2am and party in their rooms until the wee hours of the night. The staff at the hotel from what I could tell made no effort to proactively police the hallways and identify drunken revelers disturbing the peace. In conclusion, between the incredibly uncomfortable bed and the drunken guests, I would avoid this hotel if you are at all interested in having peace and quiet and a good night's sleep. We should've left this hotel after the first night, rather than staying for two. By the time we made it home we were exhausted from lack of sleep over 48 hours. Lisätietoja

I have stayed here twice now and both times I have really been impressed with the customer service. The beds are great and the rooms are spacious. I have gotten the master suite both times. The first time, I had a very spacious two room 1.5 bath with a big balcony over looking the fountain. The second time I got put in a two room with only 1 full bath […] and the balcony was not really a balcony. It had a sliding glass door but I would still have to sit inside the room because it was less than a foot wide. Somewhat disappointing after being spoiled the first time around. The best feature is the surrounding area because of the many boutique shops, restaurants, and the large pond sized fountain with plenty of places to sit around and relax. All of this is located in a close walk-friendly distance. Not crowded. Some, including myself, would consider this an upscale area but I have a great time here. The facility is quite large. Good restaurant in the hotel. Excellent restaurants within 3 blocks. Many upscale shops too. The room was spacious. The work area was large with a credenza on the side. Wireless Internet is available but cost $13 a day. The bed was fairly firm. I sleep on a temperpedic bud has no problems getting a good nights sleep. One […] wall is dedicated to windows but if you need it dark drawing the curtins will make it midnight in the room. The bathroom is comfortable with granite and ceramic tile. Hotel staff were friendly. I initially put my husband and I in a room that wasn't clean. Still had room service tray, dirty towels in the room. Promptly changed us out to a clean room. Great location, lots to do walking distance away.

Can't beat the location, we had a blast!

I loved this hotel! It was perfect for our get-away weekend. The shops were fun and the restaurants were great! We didn't need our car for our overnight stay. This is a very nice area of Plano to stay in. There is everything you need within a 5 min. drive. There is a great Cinemark Theater close by and tons of restaurants. Hotel is very clean, rooms are decorated nicely. Beds are so comfortable. Great coffee in the room. Nice views from windows. Suites are really great. Stayed in one in Dec. '10 that had a wrap around balocony facing the outdoor Christmas tree. Beautiful! You can walk to anything you need at Legacy Center. Love this hotel. Food is awesome too. Great hotel, great location and great service.

Great Service

This was a nice hotel located in a wonder area. We had breakfast in the area which was walking distance and dinner. Very exciting and romantic.

Our only complaint is that the breakfast menu is ridiculously expensive. We've stayed in many nice hotels all over but breakfast for around 17.00 is so out of range. We didn't eat there at all and instead went to nearby restaurants. For this reason I probably would not recommend it altho we love the Legacy area.

Gorgeous Hotel when you drive up and check in. And the room LOOKS nice. However, the mattress was a sink whole, pillows horrible (one giant ans hard as a rock and one tiny and way too soft) and the walls are so paper thin that I can tell you that the gentleman next door was having a lot more fun all night long than I was. Doors slammed all night long. […] One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. We chose the hotel because the location is perfect. Walk to Legacy shopping/restaraunts. They also provide a free shuttle which we took to the mall to eat at Gloria's (a great Mexican food place) which was a nice perk. Room was comfy but nothing amazing. No refrigerator in room although there was plenty of space for one. VERY noisy neighbors but we called down and never heard from them again....I believe […] they must have moved them to a different room. Staff very responsive and courteous. Breakfast was good but we have had better Marriott buffets. Overall a good value especially if you want to be close to Legacy. Lisätietoja

This hotel is great. My husband and I have stayed at this hotel before. This night was in the VIP suite and the suite below us kept us up until 2am and beyond. I called the front desk to complain about the noise but the noise didn't stop. I know that when you pay for your room it's your business what you do in your room but please consider the other […] people and one of their reason for getting a hotel room is for sleeping. Very Nice. Covenient shopping and dining. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Fitness center is outstanding.

If you did not know you were in Dallas Tx you would have thought you were in a small town in Europe. The shopping area was high end and the people were extremely friendly. I would recommend this to everyone.

Great hotel, great location! It is located in a very trendy shopping center with plenty of placers to eat, shop, and do whatever you want.
