Hotelli oli ihan mukava ja siisti. Aamiainen oli OK. Sänky oli hyvä ja TV kanavia riitti. Ainoa mikä puuttui oli golf channel. Ympäristö ei välttämättä ole hyvä kävelylle, paikalliset varoittivat rikollisuudesta. Mutta jos liikut autolla niin suosittelen.

Asuimme perheeni kanssa pari viikkoa hotellissa ja kaikki meni yleisesti ottaen hyvin. Aamupala kuului hotellin hintaan ja oli mielestäni hyvä. Ainoat mieleen tulvat miinuspuolet liittyivät epäselvyyksiin: jäi epäselväksi, onko hotellissa lapsille matkasänkyjä vai ei, sillä saimme asiasta kahdenlaista informaatiota. Loppujen lopuksi hotelli ei niitä ainakaan meille tarjonnut, joten otimme yhden mukaan. Lisäksi siivojat vähän liiankin innokkaasti poistivat lapsillemme tarkoitetut ylimääräiset pyyhkeet ja vuodetarvikkeet, mutta asia korjaantui kun sanoimme asiasta siivousvastaavalle.
Lisähenkilöistä saatetaan periä maksu, joka saattaa vaihdella hotellikohtaisesti.

"ok hotel"
This hotel was in a good area but was a little to high in price, they need to upgrade there old tv's if theyre gonna be charging almost 100 a night. But it was clean and quiet. Staff was nice.
"Good price"
The room was good, not very far from where I was going. There were a couple of things wrong with the room. I had booked a king bed and I was put in a handicap accessible room. I was fine with the room in general but the shower did not work very well. Water pressure was low and the tub looked dirty. There was also a few roaches crawling over the carpet […] at night. "Good for the price and location"
We had some issues during our stay, but staff was very nice and helpful. They resolved the issue within 10 minutes and allowed us to continue our stay. Rooms are in need of new furniture, but it was very conveniently located and easy to access the Galleria.

"typical day inn"
Friendly staff, but like most Days inns this hotel is located off a very noisy road. Pretty basic.

Room was clean and very roomy compared to others that I have stayed. for the same price that I paid for this room. Will be staying here again when I visit or conduct business in Houston.

"Days Inn in the Gallery area"
Friendly staff. Continental breakfast was the same as many other hotels. The room was spacious and clean. The free internet was great.
"Bad Experience"
It's funny I stayed at this same hotel 2 weeks prior and things were fine. However something happened my second stay that guarenteed that I will never stay in this place again. Prior to checking out we placed a do not distrub sign on our door and left the hotel for breakfast. Upon returning we noticed our door was open and they were in the process of […] moving our items out of the room. They had already move 2 bags out and bagged up and removed all our toiletries and loose items. The manager and another person maybe the assistant Mgr. approached and said they were trying to reach us by phone but since all I had was an overseas number they couldn't get a hold of us. Check out time was 11:00 a.m. and we returned at 11:20 and they decided they would remove all our stuff so the room could be cleaned. I've never experience something like this in my live and was outraged. The room this time had a clogged toilet when we checked in and wasn't really clean. The hotel fitted our needs as it was located near places we were visiting. The rooms were big and clean. Good value for the money.

"Five star friendliness at Days Inn Suites in Hou"
Proof that class and friendly service isn't about the number of stars a hotel has on its web page or lobby wall. Yes, the Day's Inn has room doors that face the outside, but the staff was so kind and welcoming from the get go, that I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Yes, it is a so-so neighborhood...the upside is that there's tons of dining options […] from Starbucks to Chinese, Mexican, Italian and other restaurants really nearby. Pretty much all the other hotel guests were lazy/tired - so I had the breakfast area all to myself. Nothing fancy here, but well presented, clean. Fresh coffee, danish (prepackaged - not so fresh), hot oatmeal and a bowl of cereal for good measure. The A/C was a little loud, the cable channels limited, but still a good value for $$. Check-in and check-out was easy. They did run my credit card for "incidentals" (but we know that's code for 'if-you-break/steal, we-gonna-get-cha.")...but I think that speaks more to the quality of some of the regular guests at the property, than the owner's trying to pull a fast one. It was convenient to shopping, dining, grocery store, etc. It had a refrig and microwave. Did not care for the breakfast, but there were so many good places to eat that it didn't matter. One thing. The bathroom could use some CLR to remove stains. Other than than it was clean. I would stay here again.

Days Inn on Fountain View would just clean the place...YUCK.... The room is big, the bed was wet, smelled like they had just sprayed on a disinfectant of a kind. I was OK with that...But the Bathroom floor and shower was very dirty. They may of at one time even used a mop to clean the floor..I made resv. for my boss (a lady) and myself when she opened […] the bathroom door a cockroach ran across the floor..the next night she found a cockroach in the bathtub..Rooms are nice but very dirty... to bad.... Good location near Galleria and offices. Rooms need update and improved electrical, including lighting. Staff attentive and friendly. Good parking and street access.

It does the perfect job for just a place to spend the night. Its not a new hotel but its very well located and everything is kept clean. It is a very good deal for the price. I would recommend it.

Nice people that work there, bad neighborhood, hotel can use some TLC but it had everything working and needed there. It was clean, but looked dirty IE needed TLC part. "Nice hotel but...."
Overall, when I checked into the hotel I thought it was a good value for the dollar. Not fancy but I did not pay for fancy. The neigborhood was fine and within walking distance to where I need to go for business and leisure. However, I was disappointed to wake up in the morning to take a shower and find a cockroach in the shower tub.

As with all things you get what you pay for. This hotel is very low cost for its location. However, it is becoming very run down, so I would not recommend it unless low cost is the most important factor.

The room was ok for the price. The TV in the room was not working, bathtub was dirty shower was not strong and drain didnt work. The vanity was dirty and looked like there was blood on wall and ceiling.

"Galleria area...but borderline hood."
The hotel was decent. when you see galleria in the title of the hotel you figure it to be more upscale, it wasn't. however the location is excellent. it is close enough to the galleria area as well as several restaurants and club/lounges. the rooms are large but the surrounding area is alittle sketchy.

We arrived late at night, the front doors were locked and the clerk was leary. After giving him the reservation papers, he opened the front doors and was very friendly and helpful. When asked about the neighborhood he said it wasn't bad but he wouldn't take chances. I found the neighborhood to be quite nice, I had brought a trailer with, and had to […] drop it for one night in the parking lot. It was there in the morning so it must not be all that bad. The Days Inn Suites Galleria Mall is close to many restaurants. It is also close to the Galleria Mall shopping center and to the office that I was visiting.

"Poor maintenance"
Most things about this hotel were in line with what you would expect from a Days Inn. However, my major complaint is that the shower in my room did not work! I was able to get water, but couldn't switch to the shower. Being in a terrible hurry in the morning, I didn't have time to complain and get an alternative or whatever. This was totally unacceptable. "Cool for the money"
The room was a nice size and it was clean. Not very modern though, but the staff were nice. I would recommend this room if you are staying a night or so...just watch out for the cricket who reside inside it as well, but I think crickets in your room means good luck, no?

The hotel was clean and the renovations they say they did in 2007 were very good. considering the location and price the room was great for the money. The check-in staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was acceptable, not a lot of choices, continental, but enough to get one going.
