It worked very well for me.

People very friendly - had to borrow an umbrella because of the rain.

We were very happy with the hotel for what we were looking for. It was a great price, clean, comfortable, the complementary breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful. It was a little older looking but fine since we were only there to sleep.

Thermostats are locked and cannot be changed. Seemed to get pretty hot during the night, had to open window to let some air in. Some of the decor was dated. I will definatley shop around more next time I want to stay downtown Edmonton. Overall experience was, hmmmm.....ok.

This was perfect for our one night stop through Edmonton. It's an older hotel but has been updated. Breakfast offered was very nice.

When selecting hotels for this business trip, there were two factors location and price. The comfort Inn in Downtown Edmonton was perfect for both of those. Typically when you pay a little less, you get a little less however the staff, quality and visit was above my expectations. The room had no air conditioning and was overly warm when entering, yet the halls were air conditioned. No way to cool room without opening window and calling desk to ask for table fan. This only moved the warm air around. The TV remote did not work and when they gave us new one, the volume only turned up so slight you could hardly hear the program. […] The hot tub was hot but no jets worked on it and the pool was both cold and could see dirt on bottom of it. The only good thing was the breakfast in morning that had a very nice selection of items to choose from. Knowing it had only a 2 star rating, I guess i shouldn't have been surprised. Lisätietoja

The location was great,right downtown, the rates were great too, but it really showed, cheap, alright for a short stay, but certainly not for longer then 2 nights

well...we booked online and when I got there they told me there was an extra 50 dollar charge for our yorkie! when i had already arranged for the dog online.The pool was very small disapointing for children. The room was very small and not that clean.

The hotel itself is from the 1970s or maybe earlier, so it really has a retro feel to it. But that being said, the staff was friendly, the breakfast good, the room clean and the wifi worked well.

The rooms were clean. I just found it cramped. The heating could not be adjusted so it was very hot. The staff was kind enough to send us an electric fan. It helped cool down the heated room. The breakfast server was rude. I have to catch her attention while she chatted with her peers to get service. I asked for more milk. When she found that the thermos […] was not empty she replied back by saying "It's not empty" in a snubbish way. I was not pleased. It's your problem if your thermos does not pour out your milk. She also had her peer going over my head to pick up a spoon while they were in conversation across the counter. I felt very disrespected. The calmness of my morning was ruined. My stay in this hotel was very unpleasant and cost me dearly. The room thermostat was locked and could not be adjusted. It was -25 to -15 degrees centegrade outside and the room was very, very hot. I had to turn off the heating unit to cool it down then it became very, very cold. The only way I could adjust the tepmerature was to turn the unit off […] or on. Why would they lock the thermostat so I could not control the temperature of the room? I've never seen that in 30 years of travel. Further they charged to access the computer in the business center (I've never seen a hotel do that either). As a result I did not get a boarding pass and missed my flight the next morning, costing me an additional $300 to get home. I have always stayed at the Holiday Inn Express across the street from this hotel before and decided to try this hotel for a change. I will never make that mistake again when I have the choice between a Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn. Lisätietoja

The hotel was exactly what I was looking for. It was a reasonable price that included parking and Wi-fi. The bed was fine, the bathroom was all that I needed. The pool and hot tub was a bonus. I was also able to walk to all of my downtown meetings without any trouble. Plus, the breakfast was excellent. Sausages, eggs, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee, […] and freshly made waffles. Definitely in need of renovations, pics online make it seem alot more modern than it is. Thermostat was set at 22 and was locked :(

did to not seem to have hot water after mid morning only warm, rooms very clean, although out dated. The breakfast and parking being free was an added bonus, where most in the area you had to pay for one or both

Stayed here to go to a hockey game. Hotel was clean and location is close to LRT and few restaurants. Breakfast had a good variety from scrambled eggs to waffles. A good juice selection along with coffee or tea.

Overall very satisfied with hotel. One concern is the unlocked door to the back parking lot. The door does have a key entry but the door is kept ajar to easily access the parking facilities. I would feel better to have it locked and use my key to enter hotel. Hallway carpets are in need of replacement. Very pleased with the friendly service from staff, […] our room was very clean and cozy, and the continental breakfast had much to offer and was very good. Convenient location for downtown edmonton - staff were friendly - rooms clean and comfortable - wi fi made easy access to Internet - would recommend

The initial room had a heating issue it was 26-28C they did have a look at the heat issue but coul not easily resolve the issue. They moved me to a new room with no issue which was appreciated.

Im happy with my 2nights stay, the location is just right at the heart of downtown, accessible to MRT as well. My room was neat and clean, and the free continental b/fast is a plus. But my only comment was the pool, not very clean water and sauna bath not impressive, and the hot tub was very hot can't adjust the temperature, we know that its morethan […] 45'C, its just boiling U cant sitdown and relax because it just so hot to bare. Although the hotel is older it appears to be well maintained. Free breakfast was good with lots of selection and parking was free, both a bonus for a downtown hotel. Plumbing was a little noisy periodically, otherwise the room was quite, but low occupancy may have been the reason. I would stay here again.

You get what you pay for. Clean, friendly staff. comfortable room. Not much else to report from that. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, this will do the job.

When we checked in, the room we were given wasn't made up -- bedding everywhere. Not a huge deal. They immediately gave us another room. But then we soon realized that the heater in that room blew only cold-ish air -- and this was in December! We asked the front desk to send someone look at it while we were out, but when we returned, it didn't seem […] anyone had been in. When we woke up the next morning, the room was extremely cold. The front desk was apologetic and friendly (as everyone had been the night before), but we probably wouldn't stay there again. Staff was great. Room heater ran wouldn't control down below 30C (so we shut the heater off) even on the low setting. Otherwise, a perfect layover for our trip.

My stay was very satisfactory. The hotel is well located close to downtown, restaurants, buses and trains. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to others.

It was close to the shaw centre. Stay was pleasant.

Hotel is conveniently located for UofC and SAIT. Old but relatively clean. Biggest challenge was that my cell phone touchscreen had died so it was unusable for incoming calls. This hotel does not allow outgoing long distance calls - which proved to be a major headache. Great location proximity wise. Clean. Great service. Got a free "upgrade" from one bed to two cause I screwed up on my booking. Very friendly and helpful . . .

The hotel is in bad need of a renovation. The shower curtain bar was reinforced with two squares of plastic and drooped so the curtain slid to the center and not all the way across the tub. The bed looked a little droopy too, but maybe it's just the older comforter, because it was ok. Furniture was old and worn except for the office chair. Breakfast […] was mediocre, the sausage and hard boiled eggs only warm, they need to be kept hot. At least they offered a little more than toast and an apple for their continental. Last minute booking @10:30pm for the night; 4 kids under 8... Excellent for what we needed: beds and a shower in a safe and secure environment! Continental breafast was great, and staff are outgoing and friendly!

Hotel was older but updated. The breakfast was included in our room rate and was very good. Location was great. The only thing was the temperature of the room. It was hot out and took a long time to get the room to a comfortable temperature. I would stay here again though.

Yes the hotel is conveniently located and has a friendly staff both at front desk and the room service. The amneties are good as well. The maintenance is not so great, but the excellent staff makes good for that. Has a small size kids pool and a hot tub, the sauna awas out of order...the breakfast is nice and well stocked. We were very satisfied with this hotel, it was a convenient location for us, clean and very helpful staff. Can recommend this hotel.

Interior a bit dated but maintenance kept up so room well kept and comfortable. Room clean. If you are looking for a top notch place with new everything this is not the place. Well located in downtown.

I've been staying in hotel rooms for the thirty years of my career and this is the nicest one I have ever stayed in.

Easy to find. Really close to Jasper Ave and many other places of interest in Edmonton. Good area. Clean rooms and very helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone
