Never again with them. No service , bring your own towels down for new ones. No one at desk at night.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. There were ants in the bathroom and kitchen area. The room was smelly; not fresh at all. The bed was uncom-fortable and the pillow too small & too soft. Couln't get anymore because housekeeping is not offered everyday and the office staff did not answer their phone. Our backs were literally hurting […] the next morning. The shower curtain had mildew at the bottom and the bathroom was not clean. I will NEVER stay at another Homestead Extended Stay again. My family had a similar experience in a Homestead Extended Stay in Northern VA and their feelings are the same. Lisätietoja

I got about what I expected. It is an extended care hotel, so no breakfast or maid service. Staff was polite. Kitchenette is nice.

My stay was just what I expected. You know what you get when staying at an extended stay motel. Due to food allegories we need to stay at an motel with a kitchen. Extended stays like the Homestead have just that, it makes do just fine for our visit. The room was comfortable with just what you would expect. The room was clean, but well worn. Because it's an extended stay property, daily maid service isn't included, but they left an adequite supply of linens and coffee. An electric stove, refrigerator as well as microwave oven and , utensils were provided. The hotel is in an industrial park area a block away from many shopping and fast food choices. I decided to book at this hotel because it was dog-friendly. I only booked for one night. It was a fairly last-minute decision - I had a death in the family and there was no room at our kennel for my dog and my parents' dog. The hotel that had been reserved for incoming relatives didn't allow dogs. At first I was worried because check-in was 3pm - […] smack in the middle of the viewing, and check-out was at 11am - smack in the middle of the funeral. Thankfully, after a few phone calls and an explanation of my situation, I was able to check-in a little early and check out a couple hours late. I really appreciated it. As far as the room, it's an extended-stay hotel, so there was a little kitchenette with a full-sized fridge, a sink, microwave and two-burner electric stove. There was a ton of storage space, which would have been great if I had intended to stay for any length of time. The rest of the room was pretty standard - a nice size closet, tv on a dresser, standard bed, chair with footstool, etc. The carpet was worn, the kitchenette counter was stained and there was a huge hole next to the vent in the bathroom sink, but the room was adequate for one night. Since I had the dogs, I had to stay on the first floor. This made it quite noisy. My upstairs neighbors must have been night-owls because I heard footsteps throughout the whole night. This also riled my dogs up - though they were already on edge because of the new place. I could hear it every time a door opened and closed down the hall, also not good for puppy nerves. The location was convenient from the Powhite Parkway, and great for anyone who has business at the Arboretum, but it was a tad far from where most of the weekend's events took place. I would probably not stay there again, but I probably won't have the need. I would recommend it to friends only in a pinch. Lisätietoja

Not sure if it was Resolve, or Febreeze, or Glade - but the place reeked of it. After 4 days away my suitcases still smell.

The room was very outdated. There was food under the pull out couch. The remote did not work. The coffee maker had used coffee in the filter. The hotel smelled of strong carpet cleaner. I would not recommend this location.

Hotel was clean, and all equipment worked correctly. The location was a little hard to find, but convenient.

I enjoy stay at Homestead, clean and close to everything (mall, foods, etc.).

Room was clean and comfortable. Good room for good price. Kitchen in room convienient. Pillows were a little small and there was no trash can in the room.

I was very pleased with my stay here. The room I rented was very comfortable. The Only issues I had were in the maintenance department. In the hall going to my room there was a bleach spot where someone had an "oops moment". The main problem though was with my room door. To get it to latch, I had to put great, upward force on the knob! Everything else? […] was very home-like! Lisätietoja

I've enver heard of Homestead, but they are one of the view in the area to allow pets despite what the internet sites say. Not a luxury hotel, but very reasonable for the price (much cheaper than Days Inn, Sleep Inn, etc.). No breakfast, but the rooms are clean and the bed comfotable.

I was very pleased with my stay. I am particular about one thing, no matter what I am paying- cleanliness! The room was spotless. It's definitely a "no frills" hotel, but for a cozy, clean room for the price, it was great.

I checked in at about 10:50pm. The guy at the front desk informed me that he had not assigned me a room yet. He said he was in the middle of the night audit and the computer would not do it for him. So he preceded to try to find one manually. He then left me at the front desk twice so he could go check the rooms he thought we're available. To no avail. […] He informed me that he would have to finish the audit before I could be put into a room and told me to have a seat, now being about 11:10-11:15. In the mean time, the guy on the next shift comes in and he proceeds to tell him about how many complaints from guests he will have tonight because of the heaters not working in the rooms. Also, a guest calls the front desk to set a wake-up call. He informs him that he is not on the right phone and tells the guest that he has an alarm clock next to the bed, and that he can set that himself easier. At long last we get into our room. Everything looked like it was clean, but it did not seem clean. Bath tub had stains from an old bath mat, the vanity was falling apart, white lint stuck to the carpet, the carpet, drapes, and carpet was old fashioned and needs updating. The cabinets looked cheap and of 1980's taste. However, they had a new fridge and a wonderful new coat of yellow paint on the walls, yuck. Lisätietoja

When I first checked in they gave me a room that hadn't been cleaned the bed wasn't made and dirty towels were on the sink, the woman at the front desk said she would send someone up. In the end, she just switched me to another room, the room had a full sized bed, not the Queen size that I booked online, and it had a handicapped shower, but by that […] time I was just glad to have a clean room, overall it wasn't a bad room for the price, although I think internet access should be complimentary not another $5. The facility is "well used" and clean. The tub had seen better days, the carpet was old but fine. The room didn't have a trash can which wasn't a problem for me - room crew solved after I left and pointed it out. However, the desk staff was truly outstanding - helping me to get written directions to several venues, checking with me to insure everything […] was satisfactory in the room. This is not a traditional motel - it is a longer stay facility but is happy to welcome overnight guests. The pricing is very reasonable. It is just off a main route, but not on the highway.
