Excellent location between Leidseplein and Museumplein. Everything is withing walking distance, but tram stops also near. Unfortunately our room was on the ground floor on the side of the busy street (Stadhouderskade) so the room was very noisy. Had trouble sleeping with very loud motorcycles and police cars etc passing by, could also hear people walking […] by and talking outside... Walls seem paper thin. So try to ask for a room that is higher up / on the other side of the hotel. Room was big enough for two, but I've never seen such a tiny bathroom. Bed very uncomfortable. Staff was mostly friendly and helpful, some more than others. Safety deposit box was broken on arrival, never got fixed despite our request. Lisätietoja

Nice and cozy hotel in the best possible location (next to Rijksmuseum, Leidseplein, Negen Straatjes, Concertgebouw...), also very good for people travelling with kids. Has nice, modern rooms, with good bathing facilities. Great staff at the reception! Little minus: the rooms have wall-to-wall carpeting, so are not the the best for people with allergies, […] as the air-co is not exactly the best possible, either... Tip: ask for a room in the highest floor, they're the most quiet ones and you can keep the window open. The elevator works like a charm, so no problems getting up there. Siisti hotelli, rauhallinen sijainti, auvulias henkilökunta, huone ei ollut suuren suuri mutta riitti meille hyvin - sänky, pöytä, tv, suihkullinen kph - wlan joka toimi - lisälämmitettiin huonetta hieman erillisellä patterilla kun ulkona oli niin kylmä (-5C). Jalkojen tömistys äänet kuuluu läpi ainakin ylä-ala-suunnassa - meillä oli hiljaiset naapurit […] yöaikaan joten se ei ollut ongelma. Etäisyys keskusrautatieasemasta on 15min spåralla, eikä matka ole mitenkään ylivoimainen kävellenkään (tuli käveltyä muutaman kerran) - kaikkialle jaksaa kävellä. mutta helposti pääsee myös spåralla (pysäkki melkein vieressä). - suosittelen Lisätietoja

Best Western Apollo Museumhotel oli oikein miellyttävä yllätys Leidspleinin lähellä. Saimme huoneen kohtuuhintaan ja itse huone oli erittäin siisti, tosin pieni. Kylpyhuone on erittäin pieni. Huoneessa oli kaikki perusmukavuudet. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä.

Pieni, mutta juuri sopivan kokoinen huone kaupunkilomalle. Kylpyhuone erittäin hyvän kokoinen ja siisti, niin kuin koko hotellikin. Aamupala (12,5€) tasoon nähden hieman kallis. Kannattaa tilata etukäteen niin saa kympillä. Hotelli sijaitsee kävelymatkan päässä kaikista nähtävyyksistä, mutta myös ratikkayhteydet erittäin hyvät. Lentokenttäbussi tulee […] ja lähtee ihan kulman takaa ja maksoi 4€/suunta henkilöltä. Lähellä todella paljon ruoka- ja ostospaikkoja. Kaikin puolin hyvä valinta ja takuulla hintansa arvoinen! Pieni, siisti huone. Hotellin henkilökunta oli todella palveluhaluista. Sijainti aivan museoalueen vieressä. Suosittelen!

Hotellin sijainti oli loistava, rauhallinen, mutta kuitenkin sieltä pääsi näppärästi kaikkialle. TUnsimme tehneemme hyvän valinnan ettemme menneet keskustan häiskeessä oleviin hotelleihin. Kaikki oli siistiä ja päivitettyä. Henkilökunta oli periaatteessa ystävällistä, mutta täystyöllistettyä.

Todella hyvä ja siisti hotelli, yllätyin todella positiivisesti, koska hotelli oli niin edullinen ja yleensä halvalla ei hyvää saa. Sijainti on loistava, kaikkialle pääsee hyvin kävellen ja sinne minne ei jaksa kävellä voi vuokrata pyörän aivan hotellin läheltä. Huone oli siisti ja kauniisti sisustettu, jopa tyylikäs ja henkilökunta oli ystävällistä […] ja avuliasta. Suosittelen ehdottomasti!! Ainoa miinus hotellille on se, että aamiainen ei kuulu hintaan ja se oli liian kallis siihen nähden että tarjolla oli lähinnä leipää ja muroja. Mutta ihan siinä lähellä on monta paikkaa mistä saa hyvän aamiaisen, joten ei paljon haitannut sekään. Tästä tuli vakiohotellini Amsterdamissa aina kun sinne menen, ehdottomasti! Lisätietoja

The room design was a little "cold", but it was clean and functional. The shower was good and the internet worked fine, even though my room was at the end of a corridor. The bed was comfortable.

Siisti hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla, ainoana miinuksena jyrkät 34 porrasta hotellihuoneeseen, kerrokseen johon ei päässyt hissillä. Kannattaa varmistaa varattaessa huonetta, onko hissillisessä kerroksessa.

Ainoastaan yksi "arvostelun" kohde ko. hotellissa oli. Lähtöpäivänä luovutimme huoneemme 5 tuntia ennen hotellista lähtöä. Matkatavaramme sijoitettiin hotellin lukolliseen tilaan. Noutaessamme tavaroitamme havaitsimme matkatoverini juuri ostaman uuden sateenvarjon hävinneen hänen matkalaukkunsa päältä. Tämä varasto oli hotellin ainoa lukollinen tila, […] jonne voimme tavaramme jättää. Näin ollen vastuu on ehdottomasti hotellilla, jonka henkilökunta vain "kohautteli olkapäitään" tapahtuman johdosta. Tapahtuneesta jäi erittäin ikävä muisto. Sateenvarjo oli tuliaisiksi ostettu ystäväni miehelle, ja vaikkei se kallis ollutkaan, hotellin henkilökunta ei toiminut oikein jättäessään vastuunsa kantamatta. Lisätietoja

Great location and very nice and clean hotel for this pricerange. The location was really great for young people. Shopping streets and nightclubs were all within walking distance (closest good club, about 500meters away etc.) Also really nice park just a few hundred meters away for the sunny days. Our room was on the 2nd floor, a very nice room with […] a beautiful view, but no elevator and very narrow stairs. For a young person this wasn't really a problem though as the room itself was very nice. Quite modern and simple, the bathroom was also very modern and clean. Service was what you would expect at this price level, friendly but nothing special. Housekeeping leaves in the evening and after 11PM the frontdoor closes and you have to buzz yourself in. All in all, a great hotel if you want to stay close to the action but at a reasonable price. Didn't try hotel breakfast, but just on the other side of the road (next to the hard rock cafe) there are many nice breakfast spots (recommend B&B's sandwich store, some of the best sandwiches I've ever had!) Siisti, hyvällä paikalla, lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kaikesta, ihan kanaalin vieressä josta lähtee esim. kanaaliristeilyt, Hard Rock Cafeen vastapäätä. Ensimmäisenä yönä olisin vain voinut ampua kaikki kadulla menijät.Saimme huoneen 1. kerroksesta poikkikadun varresta... mielettömät hienot isot ikkunat, jotka osoittautuivat maailman huonoimmiksi äänieristyksiksi..Niiden […] suurien, ihanien ikkunoiden läpi, kuuli jopa ihmisten keskustelut :/ Jo ekana iltana pyysin siirtoa toiseen huoneeseen, mutta ajasta johtuen se ei onnistunut, mutta aamusta meille annettin toinen huone 2 kerrosta ylempää ja kaikki oli sen jälkeen hyvin, aivan kuin olisi muuttanut toiseen hotelliin :D Aamupala ei kuulunut hintaa, olisi maksanut 12 rahaa??? Pikku kävelymatkan päässä, jopa sillan toisella puolella, saa aamusta ihania toasteja, croissanteja, tuoremehuja ja tuoretta kahvia puolet halvemmalla. To be next door literally to all the major museums, convenient and pleasant walking distance to the Jordaan and Rembrandtplein areas was great. Avoid the 5th floor if you can as the rooms are smaller but the hotel is good value and we would stay their again.

Hotel facilities are satisfactory but hotel is overpriced especially if you stay in a basement room. Breakfast is ok for one day but then gets boring and plenty of local bars/restaurants for same price.

My rrom was tpcally small-od--but there was no heat! The thermostat didn't work, Rather than fix it, they delivered a plug-in heater to my room but jut left ity in the middle and didn't plug it in. I had to lug it to a corner near an outlet and figure out how to make the heater work. No room service.

Staying in any hotel for 11 days during peak season is likely to be tiresome, but we found the front desk of the Apollo extremely responsive, helpful and supportive of our family visit, including 3 grandchildren in their own room. I had booked a standard room which i hadn't realized until upon arrival just how small that is - all our 4 suitcases wouldn't fit in the room laid vertically. So we were able to upgrade to the next level for a very reasonable price which gave us so much more needed room. My only complaint, didnt receive the wake-up call we ordered. Hated it. Business trip coincided with abdication/coronation., we did not have a choice as hotels raised their prices by 500%. Room was in BASEMENT..... twin beds side by side, couldn't move past the bed, bathroom was so tiny absolutely horrendous. It stank the whole time. No tea or coffee in the room. we had to ask for the room to be cleaned at 6pm […] when we returned after a day out. Paying five hundred dollars US/day YES five hundred dollars you would expect that they would at least change the towels, or even give us free tea or coffee in our rooms? NOT. This was a worst hotel I have ever been too for this price. The hotel room was too small with a small single bed. I paid full price (in-fact more than their usual rate, thanks to hotel.com), but received the smallest hotel room there is.
