The warmest welcome I have ever had in a hotel. Alex, the Concierge made me feel like a special guest right from the start. The room was a little dated but had everything you needed and was spotless. Comfortable bed and an unexpectedly wonderful view of the City from our room. The rooftop pool area has a relaxing spa and sauna. We had a very comfortable stay in a pleasant ,reasonably priced room with fantastic views from the 19 th. floor. All the staff with whom we dealt were polite and the service was good. Convenient, central location in walking distance from many of the attractions in adelaide. Can highly recommend this hotel.
rooms need updating breakfast very average there are much better hotels in adelaide for a better price

"short stay"
hotel was good. easy check in and out. falicities were good. gym small but when ur on holidays are gym shouldnt be the most thing ur worried about!! room was nice. not much of a view but not to worry. bathroom a little dated but still oozes class. the free buffet breakfast included was fanstatic.

The location is very convenient but service was not great. I did not bring any toothpaste during my recent stay for business, and when I asked the concierge whether room service could send me some toothpaste, he directed me to the nearest convenience store. The package I purchase came with free breakfast daily for 2. I didnt have time to go breakfast […] daily when I stay but when I did, the manager on breakfast duty always had to check and re-check that my bookings included breakfast. On the last day, I went for breakfast with another person. At the breakfast counter, I was asked to sign a paper to pay extra for breakfast. When I explained to her about the free breakfast hotel package, she wrote on another paper and expected me to sign an pay for 1 extra person. I explained to her that my hotel package include 2 free breakfast daily, so she said she would check. After the breakfast, I kindly asked her again, and her exact words were "it has been taken care of". Then when I tried to check out I was charged for 1 person breakfast. I had to explain again about the free breakfast for 2 daily to the reception. As I have forgotten my card key in the room and threw the booking receipt in the room, she gave me an extra key and insist to see the receipt. I came back to the reception minutes later with tore up receipt just picked up from the bin. During the whole ordeal she was polite, but for me it was horrible and embarrassing. "Great location and value with free breakfast"
The Stamford Plaza is in a great location to walk to all of the sights. We booked it when a special was available that included free breakfast for 2. It was a great buffet, usually $32 /person.When you subtract that from the room price it made the room an extremely good value.

Great location. Breakfast buffet is good. Pls note only one restaurant is open for Sunday dinner. Glad that the hotel has a 'GoGreen' program, however, staff can not provide consistent and proper info to in-house guest. Front desk staff do have much room for improvement.

Don't expect staff to know where anything outside the hotel is. Convenience stores, cheap breakfasts are within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. Only 4 traditional free to air TV channels available. And the TV is programmed to direct the guest to in-house pay movies. On the busiest day there was only one lift working out of three available.
