Continental Hotel - Frankfurt

Hotelli on siisti ja huoneet ok kokoisia. Siivous ja aamupala toimii. Sijaintikin oli mainio käytännössä rautatieasemaa vastapäätä. Kaikin puolin hyvä hotelli. Oltiin tyytyväisiä.

Kiitos meillä oli hyvä palvelu ja muutenkin hotelli vastasi odotuksia tasonsa puolesta, siisti, sopivan kokoiset huoneet, hyvä aamiainen jne... Me tykättiin ja tullaan varmasti toistekin, kos käymme Frankfurtissa pari kertaa vuodessa ja hotelli vastasi tarpeitamme.

Erinomaisella paikalla Frankfurt Hanin lentokenttä bussipysäkille ja lähellä keskustaa & päärautatieasemaa. Aamupala vuonna 2011 8€/pää kenties pari euroa liian hintava laatuun nähden, mutta vaikka menit n. puoli tuntia ennen päättymistä, kaikkea oli tarjolla. Erinomaisella paikalla lähellä rautaieasemaa ja lähellä myös lentokenttäbussin lähtöpaikkaa Hahniin. Hotelli oli siisti ja huone myös hieno ja tilava ylimmässä kerroksessa. Meluakaan ei kuulunut, vaikka huone oli kadulle päin. Voin suositella.

The hotel was very confortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful..Our room was big. Very noisy place for the room. But earplugs helped :) The pillows were awful (too thin and blood stains on it..) The breakfast could have been a bit cheaper. Otherwise the hotel was located perfectly and it was a nice stay.

I highly recommen this Hotel, because, it is located one block from the main Train Station down town Frankfurt. You can take the train from the Air Port for 8 Euro and the ticked is good on all public transportation in and around Frankfurt un til midnight that day. Also Green Line Tours is located next door.

The rooms were clean and tidy but it was a bit noisy due to the tram tracks running along side of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was decent. Location was great as well; right by the main station. Well worth the money in my opinion.

The location is really nice, just opposite to the central station. But the door is hard to open and the windows is broken...

Amazing hotel, near main tower, main train station....near everything....the room was clean, with balcony (on request) so see you next year :-)

+ near station + good staff + cheaper internet + quite clean - saturday night is horrible as there was a irish celebration. and the police patrol was all the night with alarming sound - neighborhood was not great appealing. its safe though. especially kaiserstrabe and munchnerstrabe

Location is great, the building is old though, and some drawbacks expected. Over-all it's a great deal considering the relatively low price

I recently sent a work crew from our company to this hotel for the first time. They all said it was a good comfortable hotel with the bonus of being close to the Irish Bar and station. The only negative point was having to walk through the red light area to get to work. We would use again.

The location is absolutely convenient. The rates are really cheap, room well maintained, front desk staff and service staff very helpful. Minus points relate to the noise and tremor when the trams roll nearby the hotel and perhaps lack of air conditioner in summer. Value for money is great.

Very noisy since it's located on 2 busy streets. Wouldn't use it again even though it is a very clean facility.

We picked the hotel because it was close to the train station, but it turns out it was a bit too close. We had a room overlooking the street and the confluence of three cable car lines. You could hear them rumbling all night long. Maybe an inside room would have been better. Other than that, it was more than adequate and the price was great.

Located directly opp the train station and ideal for break journeys and short stay. Good clean rooms.

I stayed the second time. The hotel is across the street from the Hauptbahnhof. The main pedestrian zone is in walking distance. The room was clean with bathroom and shower. The room is small and is an outdated tv but I do not watch tv so it does not matter.

This is a very comfortable hotel. The place looks great and the room was better than I could have hoped for. The bathroom was spacious enough and there was even a small lounge area in the room. Loved it. Even the windows opened wich was fantastic.

It looks like the hotel has just been refurbished: all the appliances are new and working properly. The hotel is very well located and staff very friendly. I would certainly recommend it!

The convenience of the location next to Frankfurt main rail station is a positive factor. Our only complaint was the relatively low quality of the beds (mattress) and bedding.

The hotel is in very convient location, right across from the train station and a short walk to the river and the main attractions. Rather noisy on the street side with trams and traffic. A room at the back would be preferred. The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful.

This is a well maintained older hotel. The location which is right across the street from the central train station is very convenient for getting around. The rooms are quite large and well maintained. The street the hotel is on gets a lot of traffic, but the hotel has shutters on the windows that can be closed to keep out the noise. we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and have a very wonderful time, cause the location is in front of the main train station of frankfurt(downtown) and every things happened there. but early at the morning you hear the voice of tramways.

we chose this hotel because it was close to the central train station so that we had easy access to the airport on our day of departure . what a gem it turned out to be . a lovely old hotel in a great position with everything at hand . the surrounding area looked a bit dodgy at first but then i realised it was so close to the sights that i wanted to […] visit .the beautiful river is very close by and the restaurants are fabulous . other reviews mention the noise because its near the trains but honestly you can't hear them at all . we stayed mid week so the only late night commotion was from a few cars around but really if your so tired after walking around all day sight seeing you will just drop off to sleep anyway . cooler weather when we visited so the windows were kept closed . i will definitely be staying here again if i come to frankfurt . the rooms are not luxurious by any means are very comfortable and the bathrooms are very clean . It was a nice hotel in the center of the town. It's easily reachable from the airport and from there it's really easy to get to the shopping street. I recommend this hotel to others ;)

Continental Hotel is a very convenient , comfortable stay in Frankfurt & just outside of Hauptbahnhof. It is well connected. It is also cheap for a family of 2 or 3 persons.

When we arrived we were booked into a room overlooking the tram lines and main road, the noise when we opened the windows (there's no aircon) was deafening. Why we had to ask when there was a better room available - a superior room too - is baffling. We complained (after having booked a superior room online) and were moved directly across hall into […] a room more than twice the size and cleanliness. The staff are well informed and the location is convenient, but with no mini bar (even to keep things cool in the Spring weather). Wifi isn't free, but at 5 Euro for 1GB over 3 days we got some sightseeing planning done. It's slowish, so getting a prepaid 3G card is the way to go. My recommendation, spend 25 Euro more and save yourself the disappointment. If this is your idea of 3-4 stars you really need to set your bar higher. I couldn't sleep .hotel is top of train station you will wake by 4Am and jumping, scare thinking is eartqick coming thats how bad building shacking and I am sure HOTEL .COM knows . The location of the hotel is very convenient.

Sitting right next to the main train station in Frankfurt, this is a great hotel for a traveller arriving by train or who plans on using the train to get around. It is within walking distance of the old city and the lovely riverside park. There are two things which might bother some people: 1. Most rooms face the street that has streetcars. The rooms […] can be relatively noisy, even at night. 2. Cold water can be hard to get out of the bathroom tap. People planning on drinking tap water in their rooms may be unpleasantly surprised. A convenient and inexpensive choice for a layover in Frankfurt. The Airport is a twenty minute ride on the underground. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Proximity to busy train station is a bit noisy however.
