TownePlace Suites By Marriott Miami Lakesn 95 ilmaistoidussa huoneessa on kahvin-/teenkeitin ja hiustenkuivaaja. Vieraat voivat käyttää huoneissa ilmaista langatonta ja nopeaa langallista Internet-yhteyttä. Televisioissa on parhaat kaapelikanavat. Kaikissa huoneissa on puhelin, useita linjoja; ilmaiset paikallispuhelut ovat käytettävissä (voimassa saattaa olla rajoituksia). Kylpyhuoneissa on suihku / amme-yhdistelmä ja hygieniatuotteet (sisältyvät hintaan).

Hotelli oli helppo löytää ja katettu ilmainen parkkipaikka oli hyvä. Bank Atlantic Center ja Sawgrass Mills kävelymatkan päässä.Todella siisti hotelli ja tilava huone. Varusteena mikroaaltouuni oli positiivinen yllätys. Sisääntulon yhteydessä sai ilmaiset suklaacookiet! :) Viivyimme hotellissa vain yhden yön, joten emme ehtineet hyödyntää kaikkia hotellin mahdollisuuksia, esim allasosastoa ja fitness centeriä.

Olimme hotellin asiakkaina maaliskuussa 2012 1,5 viikkoa. Hotellissa tehtiin tuolloin pientä pintaremonttia, joka ei kuitenkaan haitannut asumistamme ollenkaan. Lastenallas ja tenniskenttä olivat pois käytöstä, ovia ja ulkoalueita maalattiin, eivät haitanneet menoa. Aamupala sisältyi hotellin hintaan ja aamiaisaika oli 8-11, joskus ovet avattiin myöhemmin (eräänä aamuna 9.05), mutta aamupala oli runsas ja syötävää. Huone oli siisti, joka päivä huone oli päiväsaikaan siivottu. Parveketta huoneessamme ei ollut, en tiedä oliko oikeastaan kenelläkään joilla oli merinäköala huoneesta? Yhtenä iltana pikkukeittiömme lattialla oli 3 torakkaa, muuten saimme olla rauhassa ötököiltä. Hissejä oli kolme (hotellissa oli yli 10 kerrosta) ja hissit olivat kovassa käytössä, ja siksipä ehkä melko hitaat. Allasalue oli siisti (paitsi yhtenä päivänä kun pari poikaa kantoi aamupalansa altaalle eivätkä korjanneet roskiaan pois...) Allasalueelta pääsi rannalle, mutta portti oli lukossa ja takaisin hotellialueelle pääsy oli siitä kiinni oliko allasalueella joku ystävällinen joka avasi portin. Allasalueella oli myös baari, josta sai juotavaa ja pientä purtavaakin päivisin. Hotellin alakerrassa oli pari pikkukauppaa, ja hinnat tietysti sen mukaiset. Seuraavaksi lähimpiin kauppoihin oli jonkin verran kävelymatkaa, bussilla tosin pääsi helposti ja halvalla mm. South Beachille ja toiseen suuntaan ostarille (Aventura Mall) ja halvempiin päivittäistavarakauppoihin. Alueella on paljon espanjankielisiä, mutta pärjäsimme myös englannin kielellä. Hotellissa oli ympärivuorokautinen vartijapäivystys. Auton sai vuokrattua hotellilla sijaitsevasta autonvuokraamosta. Ajo Miamissa oli melko vauhdikkaan näköistä, joten me tyydyimme ajelemaan bussilla edestakaisin :) Alakerrasta löytyi tourist-info, joka järjesti asiakkaita erilaisille retkille, halvemmalla kuin varsinaiset tour-paikat. Nettiä pääsi myös käyttämään samassa paikassa hintaan 2 USD/ ½ h. Hotelli oli öiseen aikaan hiljainen, sai nukuttua, kun ta

"RUn AWAY"
Avoid this hotel at all costs!!! It smells like mold in EVERY room. I can't believe that Marriott is associated with this hotel. The hotel was always dirty, the hallways and the room were very dirty. We were 4 people and the room had one queen bed plus a sofa bed. The sofa is the most horrible experience Ive ever had! This hotel was very good. The rooms were clean, there are plenty of restaurants close and a Starbucks across the street which was the selling point for me. My wife and I spent a few nights here. It's probably a bit out of the way if your heading to the Beach or downtown Miami. However, the rooms provided small kitchen areas and sufficient room to stretch out. After reading some reviews, I was a little apprehensive; but this was a fabulous place to stay. Its not a five star but it was quite sufficient for our two night stay. The hotel staff was very friendly, informative and I had no problems getting an extra towel!! We were quite happy!! They were quite full the weekend we were there and parking close to […] your room was a premium but none the less there was parking available. "It's not a bad place"
I read some of the reviews and was apprehensive about staying here....those people would complain about anything. Decent place, well worth the $. Is it a 5 star hotel? No, but it clean and the people were friendly enough. I'd stay there again.

"Not satisfied"
I had spent some time looking over the selections of the hotels in the Miami area. The TownePlace suits which is part of Marriott usually has some quality behind the name, I was disappointed in several areas. The main entrance did not look so inviting; I felt I was checking in at a motel in a bad area. I was knocking on the door waiting for someone […] to let us in. The desk area was not very inviting, the clerk was OK, but never apologized for us standing there – there was not even a door bell. After we had checked in, we went around to the side of the hotel through another entrance. The hallways are dark and the carpet is dirty. There were no directions to the only elevator, so we walked up three flights of stairs to get to our room and my guests were already wondering about the selection I had made. Our room was a two bedroom, one bath it looked basic, the couch and carpet was worn. The bath tub had a brown dried area which I washed off, it was not well cleaned. We had no back-up toilet paper so I tried calling the front desk and found no phones worked, I had to go down and notify them. The instructions for internet access was old; they were describing data cables, come to find out they did have wifi service. Housekeeping did not show effort in making beds (they just threw the covers over the bed) or providing extra supplies for a party of four adults – we had two wash clothes. The breakfast they provide is basic your choice is a selection of cereal, bananas, apple, yogurt and some wrapped protein bars or muffins, coffee and juice. What turned me off was they have no were in the lobby (right in front of the check in desk) for you to sit down instead we had to bring everything back up to our room. Later in the day our keys did not work – they did re- scan them and corrected the problem but that was annoying when you cannot get in to the facility with out walking all the way around. "okay hotel"
Our stay was okay. However, the pool area was so small even my six year old thought our family of four would not fit comfortably. On Sunday morning at 8a.m. we woke up to cold showers (There was no hot water!) On the positive side the room was clean. The kitchenette was really convenient. And the location was great.

Me he quedado en este tipo de hoteles de rango medio por varias veces y he recibido mejor atención en otros hoteles por menos precios. Creo que aunque el hotel tiene un ambiente agradable y es un bonito vecindario, debería tener un mejor servicio al usuario. No siempre te ayudan con tus solicitudes.
