It wasn't pleasant, rooms weren't clean, No Heat & I got sick. I have "LUPUS" infection that cause my pains to be worse in cold. It was a terrible vacation where i had to go to hospital. We got better than expected value. The staff were helpful. The downside, the pool was closed, no microwave in the room, no oven just burners, no DVD, wifi was down 2 days. Overall, though, we got what we paid for and would stay there again.

I found everything to be nice and comfortable..

One night stay for the Anthem 1/2 Marathon. Rodeway was solid, a good value and met our needs for the night. Front desk was extremely helpful and nice.

This hotel is close to the beach and convention center which is what I needed. The room is not much to look at or show off; but safe enough and without bugs. The beds and pillows are standard low cost fare. You can sleep safely but you won't wnat to buy the bed or pillows after the fact.

very nice people in the office. the rooms were big the only thing was that a few bulbs were burnt but the beach was very close i would stay there again.

the grossest hotel i have ever stayed in. i have stayed in jails that were more sanitary. do not stay here.

Although, the hotel is in a great location and the foreigners running the establishment are very nice and helpful, but it is a tad bit dirty. We walked into hair on the sink and toilet. I bring clorox wipes and lysol everywhere so it did not bother me too much. I had read several reviews and was a lil woriied but chose this hotel for price and location anyway. I really liked it! Its not 5 star but I didn't pay for 5 star! Parking garage was tight but not a problem... At least my car wasn't on the street! Pool was a nice size... Cleaned very well! Breakfast wasn't anything special.. Was good enough tho! We like the hotel because it was close to the beach. But the bathrooms could have been cleaner and the floors vaccum.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a block away from the beach. It had a pool. And, it was very close to the beach.

The location was very close to everything we needed.. the kids really enjoyed the pool being so close we could sit at our room door and watch them. My only complaint was we was suppose to have a suite with 2 bedrooms and the bathtub was a disgrace. We did not feel comfortable laying in the tub.

Location was great for the price. Room was still sandy from the last guests.

Great place to stay. Close to everything. Parking a little tight. Other than that it was good.

Staff was extremely nice, Upon arriving with three Grandkids our room was upgraded, Great location if you have a family and like quietness.Only downgrade there was no microwave in the room but, would stay there again and highly recommend it.

room smell/you have to take your room towel for them to wash..no service .poor clendeniest ,, just dispecible

Our hotel stay was very comfortable, the staff was friendly and our room was clean, however the bathroom was a little bit small. we got to check in before the official check in time. the hotel is very close to beach and restaurants etc. the pool was very clean and The hotel had amentities such as blow dryer, iron that were regularaly available.We also […] had free wifi, even though at times it can be slow . Front deck don't know how to deal with costumer, They don't speak english well and swimming pool still close. Don't recommed this hotel.

The hotel definitely needs an up-grade. Furniture is very old and not in the best of shape. The bathroom needs a complete overhaul. The shower was disgusting. I am definitely crossing this one off of my list of places to stay in Virginia Beach.

Let me start this off by saying, the only reason i continued to stay in this hotel, was there were no other nicer hotels available because of it being spring break. The ac unit was covered in thick dust and kept spitting out this black stuff all over the bed closest to it. There was food or something on several of the walls here and there. The fridge/freezer […] had stuff caked in the crevices, and the bathrooms were tiny. The elevator was out from saturday through monday so i had to lug all of our luggage up four stories. When you have a four yr old child, four stories to walk up is not fun. The one stair well had garbage strewn all over and someone had thrown a peed on blanket in one of the stairwells and even when we told hotel staff about the garbage and blankets, it was there for four of the six nights we stayed. To top it off it wasnt in the best of neighborhoods. I def wont stay here again and wont recommend any one else, unless they dont mind the unkeptness of the place. PS if you do get a kitchenette room they dont come with ANY dishes or pots and pans, no coffee maker or microwave either, just a fridge and stove top thats it. Lisätietoja

You get what you pay for. Don't do it. Clean but scary. Broken elevator, lose balcony rails, kitchen (I use that term loosely--no microwave).

Hotel was average for a discount stay... Parking was very difficult with limited space around a ramp leading to second-level parking.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I did not know the room did not have silverware, plates, or cups. I bought my own. It was a very lovely exprience.

The bathroom had not been cleaned at all. Elevator was out of service. overall the stay wasn't lowsy but having a clean bathroom would have made a HUGE difference.

The staff was very friendly, It was a nice location, Bathroom very small, the beds were hard and the cleaniness should have been better. Veiw was ok.I would not stay again

The hotel room and bathroom had significant amounts of black mold. The shower curtain was filthy. The bed was made erratically. Management was unhelpful and duplicitous, whispering secret rates to others as we checked in. Carpet needed cleaning and who knows what condition the bedspreads were in. Rickety chairs on balcony. As the old say goes "you get what you pay for". We were looking for a great deal through hotels.com. We're a family of 5 on one income. In the past, we have secured wonderful rates at great hotels. This time, however, our experience was very different. We requested a Non-Smoking room and initially received a Smoking room. When we asked to be switched, […] we were told we were in a Non-Smoking room. There were ashtrays in the room and there wasn't the Non-Smoking sign on the door (which was on the other doors of the hotel). They did switch our room to a Non-Smoking room rather quickly. But I was still very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The bottom of the bathtub was black, and there was mold on the shower curtain, the baseboards were covered with dirt, the kitchen floor was black in spots, the walls were dirty from handprints and other dirt, and the sleeper sofa turned out to be a very dirty futon with broken supports. The hotel only has one ice machine, which somehow became unplugged during our stay and we had to find ice for our cooler to take to the beach. The parking is a little tight, but nothing that cannot be dealt with. The outside shower at the pool did not work. There are no dishes/pots/silverware in the kitchen, no iron/ironing board, no hair dryer. In other words, no conveniences at all. If you want an inexpensive place to stay, this is it. I read the reviews and the last few before we went were ok so i decided to try it - huge mistake. first, room was in definite need of paint and repairs, parking was not the greatest and the noise level was ridiculous at 3am. secondly, this hotel is not for families our last night stay we were walking back from the beach after watching fireworks and […] in the parking lot of the hotel was hookers, pimps & johns and the hotel management sat in the office and just watched them and said or did nothing. definitely would not stay at this hotel again. This hotel was simply OK. Next year I would probably save my money so I can stay at a better hotel seaside on Atlantic. I loved the location; definitely on the quieter side of the beach and only 1 block away. The hotel itself had a pretty nice pool we swam in everyday. After reading the reviews I had mixed feelings about reserving it but the one thing I don't do is go off of someone else's observations. I packed my bags for a 3 night stay and packed an extra bag with towels,wash cloths, bedding (sheets,pillow cases, blankets), disinfectant and air freshner(after reading all the other negative reviews). Mt family was […] at the hotel for 3 nights and it was overkill. The hotel was clean and staff very accommodating. The pool was cleaned daily and the children had a blast. The location was ideal (even though I wished it was an ocean view) but I chose to pay a lot less and want across the street to see the ocean. I was within walking distance for everything. When I arrived a couple hours early I was expecting to inform the manager that I had arrived and was going to return at the check-in time but I was greeted and given a room on the 3rd floor where the pool is located (great)---no wait. I'm thankful that I didn't go off of someone elses rants. The parking garage is compact but there is more than enough spaces to meet every vehicle type (another poor exaggeration) Now if I arrived in a tank or one of those super cab trucks it would be very difficult to maneuver. I drove a van and it was not a problem. I don't know what anyone else is looking for or expecting but I would return with my family. The room is big, but that's where the good ended. The free parking deck is a nightmare for anything bigger than a compact car. The room is of mediocre quality in pretty poor condition. We were looking for a last minute two-night stay, and the hotel met those needs, but I'd never book the hotel again. Zimmer waren schimmelig, Decke kam schon runter von Feuchtigkeit. Fürhstück war nur Muffins. 50m vom Strand aber nie wieder buche ich ein Hotel in USA online voraus. Besser ist die Coupons zu verwenden und für weniger Geld direkte Strandlage zu haben! Dieses Inder-hotel ist nicht empfehlenswert für kein Geld der Wert!
