Cozy and quite comfy.A relax week-end.

Overall stay was wonderful, after checking in. The front desk clerk was a little rude, however, after check in , the room , service was immpeckable. I highly reccomend this hotel, just be patient with the front desk at check in.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. Everything that we needed was within walking distance. Excellent breakfast. It was an easy drive into this part of the city and we had a good experience with the parking garage.

The front desk made all the difference; Gwen and Gladys were absolutely outstanding. I can not say enough nice things about how they took a 3 star hotel to a 5 star just based on how they treated me and my family. I would definitly stay at this hotel again

Stayed one night this past weekend. Centrally located to all the gay bars and center city restaurants. Great price, clean, and friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again.

The breakfast in the morning was delicous. Could easily walk to all attractions.

Excellent for the yearly Philly Flower Show. Parking is not as desirable due to check out timeat 3:30 p.m. and we arrived at 4:30 p.m. the day before. Not exactly 24 hour parking.

I requested for a roll-away bed for at least 4 times (before and during the confirmation process). Once checked-in, clerk on duty (jared) misinformed me about having the roll-away already placed in our room. He also misinformed me about getting the right parking card for my vehicle (he said the green ticket was all I need to go in and out). Needless […] to say, roll-away bed was not placed in our room. I just asked for an extra linen and slept on the floor! I don't think I need to beg especially after asking for it for 4 times prior to our arrival. As far as the parking ticket, I found it the hard way again as it turned out that I cannot exit out without the right card for entering and exiting. I'm glad there was no other vehicle behind us during that time. I backed up, then went back inside to get the right card - an unncessary inconvenience caused by a very poor customer service! Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful. Was a great location to get to the market, and bus tours. I wish the room had a microwave and small fridge, but overall the room was comfortable and clean. To me, parking was on the expensive side but I don't typically stay in large cities and the cost is probably the norm.

Checked in and my room key didn't work; a minor but annoying inconvenience. Asked for a wake-up call, which never came. Missed an early morning meeting as a result. Unacceptable.

This place was better than I thought it was going to be. The big plus was that they had easy-to-access, on-site parking (for a $21 surcharge). The room was clean and big (especially if you're used to matchbox hotel rooms in NYC). Yep, pretty good, overall.

The hotel was good and in very good location. The only problem we had was we believe the maid smoked in the bathroom right before we went to our room. There was a lot of air freshner sprayed right before we entered the room. Then when we went to use the towels they smelled like smoke really bad. It was disgusting.

Very friendly staff.

I used this hotel for a business trip and it was perfect for that. Great location and great price. It wasn't super clean and parking is a funny situtation. If I was traveling to Philly with my wife, I wouldn't stay there......if I return to Philly for business, I will be sure to come back.

I selected this hotel for a quick overnight. The hotel was very convenient and easy to get to. The continental breakfast was was self-service and had a good selection including hot eggs and bacon. The only items which I think the hotel should mention is that the parking is a adjacent garage, which you have to leave your keys with, so that they may […] move your car around as needed. They park the card 3 in, so once you sefl park you leave your keys. I cam back to my car the next day and it was in a different part of the garage squeezed inbetween 4 a bunch of cars. It started off wonderfully. The lobby was clean, the staff was friendly and the location was amazing. We got to our room and it was spacious, clean and pleasant. I decided to shower and the floor of the tub was not secure to whatever was underneath it. Water was between the two and it gave a funhouse effect. I thought I was going to fall straight down […] thru and give our downstairs neighbors an unpleasant surprise. Then the walls. Oh the walls were so paper thin that when both of the rooms next to us started having s.e.x. we could hear every second of it and the detailed play by play. This was extremely uncomfortable for myself because I had my 7 year old daughter with me. Overall it was pretty decent. Location was perfect, parking was good. My wife and I came for the Philadelphia Marathon. We found the hotel convenient for the expo as well as the race start. A Catholic Church was a little over a block away. Restaurants were close by. The hotel was nice enough to give the runners an early breakfast. The place was very clean and comfortable. Parking was reasonable. All in all an excellent […] place to stay. Lisätietoja

The location of this hotel was great and at a reasonable price. The rooms were fairly clean, parking was a reasonable price for the location and breakfast was included. I must say that the staff at this hotel, mainly the service staff in the dining hall, were exceptional. I travel quite a bit throughout the year staying at low budget to five star hotels […] and the dining room service staff here were the best yet. I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, quiet, and well appointed. The staff was very helpful. I walked around the neighborhood most of the day and for a while after dark and I didn't feel uncomfortable. If I get to go back to Philly, I'll definitely stay there again.

Although not a particularly good price-performer, this is a convenient location and the accommodations are good.

I was very impressed with every aspect of my stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The taxi cab that dropped me off left with my laptop in the trunk and a staff there spent over 2 hours helping me track down the taxi company (I did get it back!). The hotel was clean-beds were new and very comfortable. We were able to walk nearly everywhere […] we went. There were plenty of resteraunts nearby and we felt safe walking around, even at night. Can't think of anything negative to say. Great location--we walked to the historic district and hopped on the subway to the baseball game. Comfortable beds with nice linens. Good breakfast buffet. You must try to pancake machine!

The price through hotels.com was really good. The breakfast bar was AWESOME, nice bonus. What they don't tell you is it's $21/day to park your car there (and all the parking attendants are JERKS)... that actually cost me more than the rental car itself. We were only supposed to be there for 2 nights but becuase of hurricane Irene, our flight was cancelled […] for 2 additional days, but all in all, the staff was very very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Our maid , Beaiata, was the nicest women you would ever want to meet! The whole staff was wonderful!

This hotel is located in the heart of downtown and it is very walkable to all the attractions. The staff is very professional, we could leave our bags for absolutely free after checking out.And by far one of the best if not the best complimentary breakfast I have ever had.Fantastic all the way!!!!!

We arrived around 10 pm - staff were ok - not overly helpful nor did they provide any additional info if not asked. Didn't even mention the Bally passes. The room was on the 15th floor and there seems to be some renovating going on ie. all the doors were being painted so smelled like paint in the hallways. Felt like the floor was deserted, kind of creepy. […] Ice machine didn't work on our floor. In the day, work crews working on many of the rooms including painting of the doors so we probably were the only guests on that floor?? The rooms seemed aged....seemed to be a damp spot in the carpet. Breakfast was typical - cold and hot offerings. The neighbourhood seemed sketchy and didn't feel safe at night with the kids. Stick to Market Street when walking around. In retrospect, since we used PHLASH to get around, would have stayed in historical district which seemed more tourist friendlly. Lisätietoja

a nice hotel to stay overnight, close to good restaurants, its pricey but its worth for our stay.They had a good free breakfast,employee of this hotel are very nice and helpful.The only thing I dont like is they dont have any microwave and refrigerator on the room. This hotel is great. The staff were helpful and nice, the rooms were very clean, and up to date. The free breakfast was good; as I have experienced in other Holiday Inn Express hotels. Downside of hotel was a small parking garage, and a little difficult to get around. It was farther to walk to the Liberty Bell, and sites than I had expected. Great hotel for the price. Location was excellent. Katherine in the breakfast room was EXTREMELY helpful and kind. We already recommended it to a friend of ours.
