Paid extra to get a room with 2 Queen beds, but when we got to the room they were clearly full beds. Called downstairs to ask the desk person about it and he insisted that the beds were queens. On the way out I brought this up again with another desk person who also insisted that this room had queen beds. Sorry, but I've slept in a queen bed for the […] last 30 years, and this was NOT a queen bed. Really, really bad customer service, and the workout room was way off in another building. The Hotel was clean and they have a light dinner and breakfast. The pool was warm and the in room hot tub was great!. The also provide sparkiling apple cider in the room! Nice

The room was clean, the staff friendly, the location good. The problem with the room was it was cramped. You couldn't get a suitcase to the closet because of the location of the desk chair. We had to move the chair to the window to be able to walk and move our luggage around. To use the desk we had to roll the chair back to the desk and if the other […] person needed to use the bathroom you had to do the whole thing of moving the chair agin. We were warned that road construction was taking place from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. and offered a room upstairs in the back building, but my brother, who was traveling with me, has a disablity and there is no elevator so we were stuck. The noise was very loud. I got very little sleep, but that isn't the hotel's fault and they did warn me. Lisätietoja

Although the lobby is very nice, the room itself was very crowded hardly any room to walk in. about 3 feet from end of bed to the tv stand. Bathroom very small, comfortable clean. We arrived at breakfast 15 minutes before closing. The breakfast attendant was extremely grouchy. Other than that an okay stay for one night. Wi-Fi did not work.

The staff at this Clarion were outstanding other then the breakfast clerk. When we arrived we found out that they had an evening dinner snack which was great for us as we had had a long day and was happy not to have to go look for a place to eat. I guess there's only so much you can do to dress up a 1960s style hotel room.

This is a road side motel. If I need to say more, which I guess I might, Eureka is an interesting place with no good places to stay. This hotel is no exception. However, for a "one-nighter" on the way to somewhere else, this hotel was inexpensive enough to fit what I needed.

This was the worst hotel of the 5 we stayed in on our roadtrip. Nathan on reception was pleasant. Breakfast was fine. Room was cramped and had that awful, awful 'bad hotel' smell. Room was clean to be clear but years of smoking, use etc. lingers. In a very non-descript location on the edge of town. Town did not appear particularly welcoming at 7.30 […] pm on a Friday night. Nothing open, nobody around except some homeless people. Sorry Eureka, maybe we didn't see you in your best light but I won't be giving it a second chance. We ended up killing time in Target (yes...Target) before putting the kids to bed. Low-point of our trip but put some other moments in perspective. Lisätietoja

I'm from sacramento and travel frequently this hotel is then only I would give peefect ratings to. When ever I visit Eureka I plan to stay here.

Did not feel like they had upgraded anything. Sink was stopped up. Did not find out till brushing our teeth and ready to go to bed. It made me wonder if they had cleaned the sink because anyone using it would know.

Bathroom area was clean but curtains and bed spread somewhat stained and worn. Staff was friendly and helpful. Conveniently located to freeway with some traffic noise. Not much happening in the neighborhood.

I am a busy, weary business traveler and this is the first review I've taken the time to write in a LONG time. Seriously - I'm looking forward to staying at this hotel again. I will be going to Eureka a few times a year on business and I won't even be looking anywhere else. 1) It was economical, but you didn't feel like you were cheeping out by any […] means. 2) Nice decor in main areas and room. I especially liked the dining area which had an atrium feel. 3) For the fitness room, you have to ask the front desk for a special key and you have to return it when you're done, but I like this added security and management. Don't forget your ipod, iphone or other audio device! I plugged my Droid into the treadmill and I had surround sound music playing through speakers IN the treadmill itself. So cool. 4) Breakfast was great. Sausage was kind of weird tasting, but the selection overall was great. 5) Something I didn't know is that they served soup and salad from 5-7. How cool is that!? I will make sure to make it next time. 6) The bed was very comfy. 7) BIG garden tub! The biggest tub I've seen in any standard-priced hotel room, and I travel a lot on business. Hotel was okay but nothing special. The pool was not working and the fitness room was small. The exercise equipment was two treadmills and one elliptical machine.

Room was very nice had all the stuff (microwave and Fridge), bed was comfortable. Easy access to downtown. This hotel is way better than similar hotels in town. I work here often and this is the best I've stayed at recently.

I stayed at the Clarion Hotel Eureka at May 14, 2010. I was very happy with everything at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. I will definately stay at this hotel again.

Enjoyed my stay very much. Excellent service with an above average attention to details. Very nice complimentary breakfast too!

The Clarion's an okay hotel. Rooms were kind of small but the bathroom was large and had a nice big tub. The breakfast room was nice and the continental breakfast was pretty extensive. The neighborhood is fine and there wasn't much highway noise. Our big complaint was the pool. In order to get to it, you have to go outside through the parking lot in […] your bathing suit. We wern't there to hang out in our room, but it was a very small room for a family of four.

Great hotel for a drive up the coast, free breakfest and dinner items. Indoor pool nice for cool coast weather.

We are on a cross country trip and have stayed in close to a dozen hotels, some very high end. The Clarion had the VERY BEST BREAKFAST out of all of the places we stayed.

Room was clean, neat and comfortable. Breakfast and dining area was very good. Staff was polite and attentive. Wireless internet was flawless. Only negative was poor TV reception in the room.

I thought the people working at this hotel were great, they really go out of their way to try to make sure you are comfortable. I was impressed with the little things like complimentary bottled water waiting for us in our room when we arrived.
