The hotel has an elevator which is nice if you have big bags. The neighborhood has decent inexpensive restaurants and some more famous more expensive restaurants. The desk helped us arrange a trip to a small village outside of Paris and the desk staff were friendly and helpful. Staying at the hotel when I got off the Metro I felt like I was on my own home neighborhood. There were 4 or 5 Bistros to enjoy within a block of the hotel. also a Monprix Grocery about a block away for snacks. The Edgar Quinet Metro stop is 100 yards away and goes straight to the Eiffel Tower and Champes Elysses so real convenient and really only once […] or twice did I have to make more than one Metro change to get to where I wanted to go. As an American I really had to focus on slowing down. I found few fast food restaurants in Paris. To go to eat there are many, many, many sidewalk cafes and bistros and they seem to beckon you to slow down and enjoy Paris; to just "be". I tried to plan to see a museum in the morning and then when tired come back to my "neighborhood" and have a lunch or just a beer or wine and read a book, the waiters didn't care how long I stayed there. I would relax and then in the evening go out again for a while. I'm not a big nightlife person but there were several night spots within the block of the hotel which were quite lively. The hotel itself was clean the the staff helpful. The hotel rooms were small but a standard size under European standards. WiFi was free as advertised. I had the breakfast buffet one morning and it was good. I had thought expensive but compared to breakfast out at a cafe it was probably less expensive, but you couldn't have the sidewalk cafe experience as the hotel buffet was in the basement. The hotel was very nice, the staff very helpful, and in a neighborhood with lots of restaurants. The two closest metro stops are Gaite and Edgar Quinet. There is also a convenient bus service to Orly which picks up at Gare Montparnasse, for 11 Euro.

I chose this hotel based on previous reviews and it did not disappoint. The hotel was convenient and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Also Luxembourg Gardens was in walking distance of the hotel. This place is a must see. We went to Paris for a romantic get-away and chose this hotel based on its central location and positive reviews on this site. We weren't disappointed! The staff was very friendly and forthcoming - absolutely professional. The room was clean but very small, but since we were out most of the time enjoying the city we didn't really care. The bed was […] comfortable... but squeaky! The aircondition cannot be controlled in the room - this can only be done at the reception. This was a bit annoying. Also the safe in the room cannot be used - but the hotel has safes you can use upon request. Breakfast is good but a bit pricey. The area is filled with good restaurants and bars and it's easy to get around by use of the metro stations close by. Small but comfortable room with king bed, sitting area, and great bathroom/shower. Amenities of bathrobe and slippers and welcoming liqueur, as well as flat screen TV. Best ever place to stay. Staff goes way beyond the call of duty. Rooms are quaint and beds are very comfy. Rooms extremley clean. Great neighborhood. Even for woman alone!! You won't be disappointed.

Front desk staff were very helpful. They allowed for early check in, gave great directions, etc. Had everything I needed and was quiet. Good night sleep with air con and nice bed.

Nyoppusset, rent og pent hotel i et koselig cafestrøk om dagen og yrende liv om kvelden. Sentralt. Montparnasse. Ikke langt fra Latinerkvarteret. Gåavstand til flere serverdigheter, men vi tok mest metroen som var 100 m ned i gaten. Personalet var litt late og overså deg for det meste, men de var stort sett blide og hjelpsomme hvis du spurte om noe. […] Alle snakket engelsk. Rommet var over forventningene. Stor dusj. Hatten das Hotel für 2 Nächte gebucht und waren mit dem Hotel zufrieden. Der erste Eindruck beim Check-in war sehr positiv. Die Zimmer waren zwar sehr klein (wie in Paris ja wohl meistens) , aber sehr sauber . Die Lage des Hotels ist auch sehr gut: Wir kamen am Gare Montparnasse mit dem Air France Shuttle an und hatten dann nur 7 Minuten zu Fuß zurückzulegen […] bis wir am Hotel waren. Glimrende hotel i et levende kvarter med masser af spisesteder. Derfor skal man også acceptere, at der er liv i gaden; også efter kl 2200

Rummet var litet men rent och snyggt. Hjälpsam personal. Frukostbuffén var ok men inte värd 12 EUR.

Rien à redire sur la situation de l'hotel, la propreté. Neanmoins, pour le petit dej buffet à 12 €/pers, la salle est petite pour recevoir tout le monde, et une seule pers pour s'occuper de tout le monde est insuffisant. Aprés 10h, y'a plus rien. Autour de l'hotel on peu dejeuner, diner assez facilement.
