"A bit torn on this hotel - 3 or 4 stars is tough"
It's very well kept, but a solid 2.5 stars (above super 8, but below holiday inn). The hotel is old, but well kept. Has that popcorn ceiling and 60's color thing going on. Rooms are very basic, but come with microwave and refrigerator. For the same price if not a little bit less, I think you can find better / more modern near by ... Coast hotel seems […] to be one of them. Right by the train tracks, so you do get some noise. Hot Tub and Pool areas are outside - not a big issue, but something to think about when it's winter (or summer for that matter). Free breakfast is ... well what you should expect it to be. Not much. The real kicker was not having any amenities, such as a restaurant or pub as part of the hotel. You have to drive or walk. Avoid the Buzz Inn. The hotel for the price was good.Kind of the middle of nowhere until you get your bearings which is not the hotel but it is the street layout.Great steakhouse across the road.Gym is very small and only one treadmill but good free breakfast with room so if you takeff the cost of a couple of breakfast great deal for the price.

It had been many hears since I stayed at the Chieftain. I was very surprised and impressed at how nice the facility is. Unfortunately we were placed in a room just 15 feet from the registration desk and all the sounds from the registration area were easily heard in our room and I couldn't help but wonder if the same was true in reverse,. Best Western...please update your showers, freezing when someone flushes or turns on the water in another room let alone your own is INSANE FOR THE MONEY YOU SPEND...THIS IS NOT A CHEAP MOTEL!!!!! GOOD INN A PINCH
I booked on line which is such a convience, They responded quickly and completed my reservations with price and a welcome. My stay was wonderful. It was quiet and always someone at the desk to answer questions. The breakfast bar was well cared for. Very clean and very good. I will be back there for sure. Thank you Chiefton.

I had made a mistake when I booked the rooms. We needed to check in on the 10th of November not the 9th. The manager on duty was wonderful. She found where the reservation had been cancelled the night before and got us rooms for Thursday night instead. "PLEASENT STAY, EXCEPT THE LOUD NOISE..."
IT WAS A PLEASENT STAY THERE. NICE STEAKHOUSE ACROSS THE STREET. BUT 2ND MORNING WHEN WE WERE STILL SLEEPING IN OUR ROOM AROUND 10:30, THEY WERE HITTING AND PONDING OR FIXING THE DOOR OR SOMETHING. This hotel has very friendly staff and very clean and confortable rooms and is very quiet . The pool is excellent, clean and heated. Morning breakfast has good choices, particularly enjoyed the waffles. Final nice touch was the homemade chocolate chip cookies available at the front desk after 6 p.m.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. No elevator & next time I would request a room opposite side from the pool since kids playing woke me quite early. Wish I had remembered my swim suit; pool looked quite nice!

My stay was pleasant. Only thing I didn't like were the trains that passed by quite often. At night I didn't notice them because the bed was so comfortable. I slept great.

Got a good nights rest here. The room was good and the beds were comfortable. The front desk called to ask if the room was ok after we had settled in. On the flip side, the breakfast was pretty awful with cheap unhealthy ingredients which seem to be the norm in North America unfortunately. We found a Starbucks instead.

Overall my stay was ok. The evening receptionist was friendly, the morning girl needs to work on her attitude a bit. The beds were extremely comfortable however the walls were paper thin. We could hear everything in the next room until late into the night and in the morning we could here housekeeping upstairs. "BW-Wenatchee great value"
Had stayed at this hotel years ago, and was surprised to find it was upgraded/updated. The room was large and comfortable, and the bed was super comfortable. Staff extremely cheerful, and helpful . Very clean, and a good value for the price. Only complaint would be that the breakfast was somewhat meager.

"Good stay for the buck"
We stayed for two nights. Had a pleasent stay. The breakfast was excellent, the hotel is older but well kept. The staff we very friendly and helpful, The gym is a joke, but over all, Good stay for the Buck.

I booked by phone, got to the hotel and had no problem. Very nice service there. The room was great-especially the lovely beds, and sooo comfy!! Love that mattress, where do I get one? Stayed only one night for skiing, but we will be back next time up. Oh, and the breakfast was much more than we expected! Sausage, omlets made, waffles, biscuits/gravy […] + all the other stuff, fruit cups, cereal, toast, bagels, juice, milk and coffee! Need I say more? It was almost heaven! Truly didn't have to eat until lunch! I read another review before booking, that 'when entering, it smelled like home cooking'. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. We saw a few other hotels in town like the Travelodge and Super 8 and they didn't look nice at all. We spent an unremarkable night at the Best Western Cheiftan Inn. We stayed here as we were unable to book rooms in Leavenworth. The hotel is in an mixed industrial/comercial area so the scenery was lacking.
