Hieman kulunut paikoitellen mutta se on osa hotellin viehätystä. Alue on rauhallinen ja hotelli on aivan metroasemaa vastapäätä. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Varasimme huoneet erillisvuoteilla ja taas jostain syystä saimme ensin parivuoteelliset mutta asia ratkesi suht nopeasti. Toinen kerta tässä hotellissa ja tulisin vielä uudelleenkin. Hotelli oli todella siisti ja mahtavalla paikalla. Metroasema kun oli suoraan kadun toisella puolella, Piccadilly-linjan varrella, jolla pääsi suoraan Heathrowin lentokentälle sekä muihin nähtävyyksiin. Hotellin henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja muutenkin homma hoitui heidän suunnaltaan esimerkillisen hyvästi. Typical old - lookalike - british hotel. Everything working just fine. Situated next to Gloucester Road, that means it is situated well, but is noisy if the room is on the road side. Tube is over the street. Hyde park is at the other end of Cloucester Road. Beware of the standard lamp at the floor! I put my towel to dry on it, and almost burnt up the […] whole building. Lamp has 250W heater bulb, and it actually burns the way through anything placed on it. Luckily I did not leave the room before the towel was lit and catastrophe did not happen. Some smoke, towel with hole in it, and lamp carried to corridoor.. The electricity does not cut from the room when leaving it, and this makes the arrangement very dangerous. Big minus is lack of free internet. Nowdays it is like electricity, everyone expect it. In this place the price for internet was exorbitary high and worst of all it did not work. I tried it twice before I gave up and started to use Prat A Mangler as a breakfast point and access to internet. The easiest way to obtain net in this place is to ask the code from Olivies bar at the basement - it is free, or over the street Prat A Mangler offers it for free too. The service and attitude of the employees is very nice, and the hotel is very comfy otherwise. It is just what you would expect in Kensington. Also pretty reasonably priced. Lisätietoja

Valitsin hotellin muiden käyttäjien arvostelujen perusteella ja valinta osui oikeaan! Hotelli oli erittäin hyvällä sijainnilla, metroasema on kirjaimellisesti viereinen talo. Loistava sijainti aivan Gloucester roadin metroaseman vieressä, Piccadilly line suoraan Heathrowlta. Rauhallinen katu. Natural History Museum on lähellä (pari korttelia). Viehättävä hotelli, hieman kulumisen jälkiä näkyvissä mutta ei häiritsevästi. Tilava ja valoisa huone. Hieman ohuet seinät, ei kuitenkaan aivan paperia. Tuplalasitus ikkunoissa, kadun […] äänet eivät kuulu sisälle. Vanhat ja aika pienet hissit mutta ajavat asiansa. Paljon ruokailumahdollisuuksia lähiympäristössä mutta pikaruokaan ei kannata sortua, katua alaspäin löytyy pieni pubi (Hereford Arms) jonne palasimme uudelleen ruuan takia. Useampi ruokakauppa jotka myöhään auki (Tesco, Saintsbury). Hotelli oma italialainen ravintola on oikein hyvä. Vaikka lähes kaikki pöydät olivat täynnä ruoka tuli ajallaan ja oli erinnomaista. Aamiaista ei tullut kokeiltua. Suomalaiseen makuun sopivaa mustaa kahvia etsittiin lähistöltä useammastakin paikasta mutta viereinen Starbucks oli ensimmäinen joka kelpasi matkakumppanille. Ainoa pieni miinus oli viimeisenä iltana. Siivoojalta oli vahingossa mennyt lämmitys täysille (termostaatin säädin oli irronnut osittain) ja palatessa kaupungilta huone oli kuin sauna. Omatoimisina tyttöinä näpräsimme säätimen kuntoon jätimme ikkunat auki illallisen ajaksi ja joulukuinen Lontoon ilma hoiti loput. Respa lupasi että huoltomies käy myöhemmin vaihtamassa osat. Excellent location right next to Gloucester road station, Piccadilly line (from Heathrow). Quiet street. Natural History Museum is close by (couple blocks). Carming hotel. A little wear and tear to be seen but not too much. Spacious and light room. Walls are a bit thin but not totally like paper. Double glasing on windows, no street noise. Old and not very big lifts but they'll serve their purpose. Plenty of dining options in surroundings. Just down the street was a pub to which we returned for the food (Hereford Arms). Nice hotel, great location. Big rooms and bathrooms. Only thing that I didn't like was the heat in our room. There was like +28 or something and the air condition didn't work. And this was in the middle of winter! Would go again, but less heat please!! :)

Clean, spaciuse rooms, although a bit old but well maintained. At 1st we received a smaller room that expected and paid for "club room" but once we asked we were given the club room. I didnt like the fact of giving a smaller room unless I complain, a bit unprofessional but honestly very nice and helpful staff.

Charming hotel: clean, good sized room, comfortable with everything we needed. Fantastic location with Gloucester tube across the road, as were cafes, supermarkets, other shops and a pub. Easy to access all the top sights via the tube but also an easy walk to Hyde Park, National History Museum, the V&A and Harrods! My only complaints about the hotel […] were we had some problems with the electronic door key, so was a nuisance to have to go back to reception to fix it, and the floor boards were a bit squeaky... but that was probably more annoying for those in the room below. The hotel was charming and the location across the street from the underground station was very very convenient. It is in the East part of London so taxi fares were a bit higher to get over to the West side. The service was awesome. They had internet access but it was a bit expensive and couldn't really handle more than 2 devices without a bit of workaround. […] All in all we loved it and had a great time. Millennium Bailey's Hotel London Kensington is a great hotel. Perfect location right next to the tube. Clean, quiet. Friendly staff. The Bailey part is old hotel but they keep it up. They offer morning breakfast but there is plenty right out side your door or down the street.

Next to Gloucester Rosd tube so easy for Heathrow on Piccadilly line. Staff very helpful. Bars & restaurant all around.

Talk about a great hotel situated in the perfect spot. Hoped on the Tube (subway in London) from the airport and only about a 25 minute ride to my stop, walk right of the Tube, and there is the hotel directly in front. Entire hotel is great, service is superb, and the restaurant is great. If you are looking for different options, there are numerous […] other place around within a block. the hotel was perfectly located for our trip. I had a wedding to attend in Richmond and my train was right across the street. Boots was along side and Starbucks nearby as well. the staff was more than accommodating. Definitely will return. A gem discovered on the internet!

What a great hotel! The location is awesome, right next to the tube at Glousester road. Many great restaurants in the area. The staff is really great and the hotel is very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

I would heartily recommend this hotel. The ambiance is phenominal and the staff couldn't be more attentive. The location is right across the street from the Gloucester Road Underground, which is on the Picadilly Line that takes you virtually everywhere in London. Hotel is in a great location. Tube is across the street services are very convenient from this station. Hotel is nice for the price in this neighborhood. Hotel has classic styling. Building is old and some floors creak. My husband and I visited London for pleasure. We stayed at the Bailey's and we can't say enough good things about it. We have absolutely no complaints. Rooms are smaller than in America - but you aren't in America and that is the point! The location across the street from Gloucester tube station could not possibly be better with great attractions, cafes, […] and restaurants nearby. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Can't beat location, location, location. Bailey's Millenium is directly across the street from the Glocester tube station. You can get anywhere you want to in London from this station. It's also a very nice older hotel with a historic feel to it, but is very clean with fairly spacious (for London) well-equiped rooms (had one with two double beds), a […] nice bar onsite and very helpful and friendly staff. We had an 18 hour layover in London, we picked this hotel. It was in a great location. It is right across the street from the tube station so you could ride the tube from the airport to get to the hotel. Alot of restaurants in walking distance. The Best

This hotel even though big and in middle of london was extremely welcoming and friendly with great staff. Beautiful decor throughout and huge comfy bedroom. Breakfast was fantastic, everything you could wish for and in the evening the restaurant and bar was cosy, lively and chilled. Definitely be using this hotel in future.

overall a wonderful hotel for the money - staff very lovely and more than willing to help with anything - I was staying on a floor they were redoing and have to admit the mattress was a bit tired but to be fair when I mentioned it the front desk offered to move me. This hotel is very nice with some old charm. It has a great English Breakfast that is worth the on-line price (at booking). The location is right across from the Gloucester Tube Station and has several restaraunts within a block. The area is nice and the staff is very professional and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

I selected this hotel becuse of very reasonable rates, a most convenient location, and easy and inexpensive access to Heathrow. This hotel fit the bill perfectly with the Picadilly line from the airport station directly across the street. Walking distance to 3 of the top museums a major plus. We were three women and there were only two sets of towels,not enough paper toilet, toiletries for one, and too small room to be a triple almost frightening!!!the sheets were dirty and they did not change them the second day. There was not a living room to sit for a while only a small one that was for five people max, and there was a very dark restaurant […] that made the hotel smell a bit awful!!!!!would not stay at this hotel again definetely!!!! Pros: The hotel is in a very convenient location, 10 steps from a subway station that goes straight to major places and Heathrow. there is no shortage of restaurants within 5 min walk from the hotel. across the street there is a 24/7 Tesco express, very convenient. The hotel is very pleasant in its lobby, very welcoming staff, easy check in, no issues. […] the rooms are very big compared to London standards and the price range, lots of space. Cons: Cleanliness of the room is mediocre, stains on the carpet, big rust stain in the bathtub, some mold above the bath tub. Bathtub is abnormally high from the floor, very easy to hit your knee getting in or trip getting out if your are not careful enough. TV intermittently work, you have to turn it ON/OFF few times before it works. Sound proofing is not that great, kept hearing noises of people talking or walking outside the room during the night. Beds are not very comfortable, they keep sliding away from the wall on the slightest move. Floor squeaks. overall: I would only go there again if the price was good enough. Lisätietoja

We had a three night stay in this hotel. The hotel itself was bustling and lively downstairs and peacefull upstairs. right out side is the under ground station with a ticket office with the shortest que in London! the station is well services with three of the main lines to bring you from your door to anywhere you could wish in London. We visit London on a regular basis and booking hotels is always hit or miss. The Bailey's Millenium is by far the best hotel. The location is incredible. We left Gloucter Street tube station where we came from a direct trip from Heathrow and there was the hotel. The room was large and comfortable. Extremely helpful front desk staff.

This is a fantastically, well-located hotel. Some lovely nearby restaurants and walking distance to Museums and Harrods. Hotel is adjacent to the tube station, making it convenient for all of London. Hotel looked lovely and Christmassy. Room was small but in-ine with London. Breakfast was great. very good relaxing stay, will return soon.

Good hotel, good service; only ONE negative comment: guests on the fifth floor appear to have cold floors, with a tad of damp smell. Been to this hotel before in early summer and everything was great.

A lovely hotel with good location however the bedroom was very small. The television did not work and we had to crawl under the dressing table to plug the kettle in! Insufficient lighting in bedroom being only 2 table lamps so had to take the shades off to see. Bathroom was very small with a crack in the sink and creaking floorboards!!
