Quality Inn Rhinelander - Rhinelander

Room was attractive and clean. Bed was old. No elevator to 2nd floor and the stairs to get to 2nd floor were inconveniently located. Stairs to 2nd floor were dirty. Lobby was attractive and breakfast was better than most I've had at this price. Friendly staff.

Hotel service was good, staff very friendly. The rooms are very clean, but minor maintenance issues requiered. The hotel is accross the street from a great restaurant (Wolff's), highly recommend it! Surrounding area is very quiet and calm. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was basic but good. It worked just fine, snowmobile trails right on the property!

The room and pool area was clean and well-maintained. However, the clerk was NOT helpful when we checked in. She acted like she would rather be anywhere else than trying to satisfy a customer's requests. With two children, I wanted to stay on the first floor, BUT she put us on the second floor. When I requested a king rather than two double beds, she […] said that was NOT possible. When trying to check my email on the only computer available to me, it took nearly 30 minutes (the alloted time per person) to check four email messages. This dneeds an update! I had hoped to have a microwave in the room, but there was only a refrigerator. Breakfast was adequate, but the second morning we were there the food was depleted by the time we had finished packing. The area surrounding this hotel is quaint with stories and legends about a mysterious beast call the Hodag. It makes the area a little more fun. Situated on the edge of Rhinelander, traffic and noise are not issues at the hotel. There are parts of the hotel that appear a little bit dated (hallways) but one has to consider the seasonal tourism of the […] area. There are times when tourists and visitors must be near zero. Our room had dust balls, the toilet would not stop running when flushed, there was mold under the lip of the toilet and the sink, the tub had soap scum in it, when we brought the conditions to the counter person we were met with apathy and the excuse that the maid had left for the day. We had a comfortable room, the location was fine, the rates were competitive. There were some housekeeping chores that needed some attention like cobwebs on our ceiling but the bathroom was clean and the room was clean overall. Breakfast was ok, but they need more than one waffle maker for hotel of that size. I would stay here again.

The room was clean and the breakfast was fine. The only complaint i would have is that the lobby and the breakfast room both had plants that looked like they were not watered in days and losing leaves. However, i stayed 3 nights and the leaves stayed on the floor and were never vaccuumed.

About what you expect for the price....except, the woman working the front desk at check-in had a very unfriendly disposition, bordering on rude. Very little water pressure in shower, just more than a trickle.

Hotel was adequate. We only needed a place to stay for the night. The room smelled a little musty and there was some mold in the bathtub and peeling pain in the bathroom. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay, quite a bit of selection for a free breakfast.

Nothing special, just a basic place to spend the night. We were only looking for a clean and quiet place to spend the night that accepted a dog. The dog liked it.

The Hotel is charming. They have a quality breakfest, friendly staff, it'ds clean with a nice workout room. I would definitely stay again

The front desk staff when I checked out was not real personable - like she didn't want to be there. A simple "Hello" when you walk up to the front desk would have been appreciated. I felt like I was interrupting her day.

It was a very nice place and great highway access very polite workers. and our room was always clean when we came back service was excellent the rate was a real acceptable price rate.

The Quality Inn in Rhinelander, WI was nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The amenities(pool, hot tub, sauna and continental breakfast) were above average. The staff was cordial and accommidating. Would stay again and recommend this location to friends.

The desk provided is above expectations for a motel in this price range. Room to spread out and convenient height for using your laptop. Good breakfast options.

We arrived very late, and staff was friendly and attentive. The room was easy to find and relatively clean and comfortable for our stay. The shower was exceptional with plenty of spray force and heated quickly. We were in town for a short visit and didn't get a chance to use the pool or other amenities at the hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights over a weekend in January 2010. I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Rhinelander, where I was visiting family. It was ok, not great. Check out left a bad impression as their credit card machine wasn't working and trying to finish a simple transaction took too long and became too complicated. Also, there was an […] error on my credit card statement (the result apparently of some confusion between Quality Inn and Hotels.com which resulted in an overcharge; I will say that the manager at QI resolved it quickly when I called him about it). Rooms are clean enough. I was annoyed every morning at breakfast as the staff insisted on starting to clean up 10-15 minutes before the end of breakfast, and weren't particularly motivated to bring back out anything (like muffins, or bread, or waffle batter) that they took away early. A major complaint: one day I left the motel about 2pm and returned about 10pm to find that my door was ajar and presumably had been for several hours; possibly the cleaning staff had inadvertently propped the door open with the swing bolt and forgotten to fully close the door when they finished. Nothing was stolen. When I brought it to the attention of the hotel staff they apologized but made no move to reduce my bill or make any other amends. We arrived in the pouring rain and it was nice to have a covered entrance so that we did not get soaked as we were unloading our luggage -- large wheeled carriers were available as well. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless -- we would stay there again.

We had stay at this hotel many times and this is the first time we were disatisfied. The room wasn't very clean...dust on the walls and around the mirror...mold in the shower....bathroom floor dirty...no backup roll of t-paper...at checkout couldn't get a copy of the hotel bill....the only good thing was that the bed was comfy....

Nice pool, good service at desk. Continental breakfast was marginal, not replenished as morning went on. Bed linens not new and basic decor average.

I have 3 issues. Smoking/Non Smoking Rooms: there should be definite division here. This hotel initially had me in the one non smoking room upstairs on the east end amongst all other smoking rooms. After I inquired I wasoved to the first floor which was non smoking. Cleaning Staff: I stayed two nights. On the second night I realized the housekeepers […] never removed a wet towel from the hook behind the bathroom door which was left by the previous guest. Eeeww. What elses did they fail to address...the sheets? On this same topic, I had an 11am check out. Because I didn't put the "do not disturb" on the door knob, they were banging on the door at 830 wanting to clean. Let me sleep, or shower, or whatever else a married couple might do without interruption until I'm ready to go or 11am! Finally, cosmetically this place has seriously been "let go". Unless they are planning a renovation sometime soon and can explain why there are so many cosmetic problems that aren't addressed, this is zooming downhill. Lisätietoja

I stayed in Rhinelander because that is where my plane came in. It is a very nice area. The hotel has a nice indoor pool and includes breakfast with your stay. My only problem was a small blood stain on my top sheet.

The picture of the front of the hotel was impressive and it was when we got there. However the room itself was dingy and had a ton of "deferred maintenance" THe hotel hallways were dark and the carpet very worn. I would never stay there again. It appears to be an old Holiday Inn which received not updating when it was purchased by Quality Inn.

Nice place, friendly staff, really nice lobby, rooms were decent. Breakfast was a little bit underwhelming. Had to wait for milk for the cereal and they ran out of fruit. Pool was nice and clean.
