The outside of the hotel and appearance is very good. However, inside the room it tells another story. The furniture was chipped and appeared to have been abused. The bed was hard as a rock. The television emitted a loud and annoying noise everytime a commercial aired. The walls and ceilings are not nearly as soundproof as it should be because I could […] hear conversations in the rooms above and next to me. I had a non-smoking room which across the hall was smoking rooms and the smell permeated the walls and into my room. The location is difficult to get to during the mornings, afternoons and on the weekends. A person has to drive thru and around the main shopping for the area which has heavy traffic. Lisätietoja

This was the worst room I've ever stayed in. The first thing I noticed was our toilet was running. I had to go jiggle the handle to make it stop. Once we started trying to use things, we noticed there were numerous items missing from our room (the phone cord, the DVD player, the drip pans on the stove, several lights wouldn't work, one of our sliding […] closet doors was gone, etc., etc). I went down to the desk since the telephone wouldn't work (cord was missing) and they immediately had someone come up and fix or replace several of the items, which was great, but it continued after he left. I found little dead bugs under stuff in the kitchen which told me the place hadn't been cleaned very well. The next morning I got up and went in the bathroom to take a shower and the knob was missing! We managed to get it on without the knob but it was very hard to do. I went back down to the desk and the new desk clerk told me our room wasn't even supposed to be rented that it wasn't ready but they didn't have another room to move us to, but would let me know if they did. Well, our shower knob didn't get replaced and we never heard about getting a different room either. I mentioned these things again when we checked out and I've also emailed their corporate office, but I haven't heard a word from them. I will not be staying there again. Lisätietoja

After finding a hair on the one complimentary bar of soap and the pervious guest's left-overs in the fridge, I asked for a different room. But, I never got over how disgusted I was and I ended up staying somewhere else.

The staff was unprofessional and rude. The room had a musty odor. The other guests were noisy. Would never stay here again! Although it was a great price, you get what you pay for.

The hotel was very reasonable for the price. You need to understand that room service is not standard. They will exchange towels and give you additional supplies at the front desk or you can pay extra for partial or full room service. The room came with a full refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishes, etc. It is located in a very busy part of town with […] dozens of shops and places to eat nearby. The room we booked was to sleep 6 people. It had the room, but the hotel never furnished enough towels. The staff had to pull linens (blankets, sheets, pillows ) from other rooms to accomodate the pullout sofa in the room. We had to ask for towels everyday and they seemed surprised. The floor all over needs to be steamcleaned. Breakfast was horrible. […] Bagels, oranges, muffins(if we asked), and coffee. No juice or water was available! We spoke to the manager and he said they were geared toward the business traveler and not families. He said corporate is looking at updating the breakfast and such to better accomodate families. Overall, the accomodations are fine for larger families, but they need to make some changes. Supply linens, dishes for the occupancy each room has. Breakfast, etc.. needs to be updated. Lisätietoja

Once I travel I try to spend as much time out seeing things as possible, so I do not need my hotel room to be too fancy because I spend just very limited time there. However I require my room (bed and bathroom in particular) to be clean and in good condition, unfortunately it wasn’t the case. I was disappointed in the hotel. The carpet was dirty, the toilet in the room wouldn't flush, and the carpet in one whole section of the room was wet. The let out bed had sheets that were dingy and looked like they hadn't been changed from the last guest.

The hotel is nice looking outside, but is dated and not well maintained inside. I expected a much nicer room from this type of hotel. The room was smaller than usual extended stay hotels and the carpets and walls were stained and dirty looking. There were long black hairs hanging from the towel racks near the sink. There were people constantly walking […] the halls and slamming doors thoroughout the night and starting early in the morning until we checked out around 10 or so, somwone was playing music very loudly and could be heard all the way down the hall to the front desk. The upside was the price wasn't horrible for the area and it was close to the Galleria Mall, Joe's Crabshack and other places. We found 2 spiders in one bed and I came home with bed bug bites.

The hotel is conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and the expressway. Breakfast ran out well before the 10am cutoff. The staff was helpful.

We had a nice stay... Chris at the front desk was very nice...even though he didn't have any pillows or blankets for our person on the sofabed! Location was very convenient to the Interstate.

Sofa had stains, bed was uncomfortable, there were no sheets in the room for the sofasleeper, closet door was broken, no tub stopper, no one at the front desk at night, housekeeper did not clean my room, front desk had no clean towels when I needed some(afternoon), living room tv had static, pool was dirty. The room was clean enough but I'd ordered a King bed and ended up with a Queen. The stair case next to the room looked like a service entrance, but all in all for the money this is a good hotel. The most recent time I stayed they could have used another person working the front desk as I waited a good 20 minutes for someone to check me in. And lastly […] the beds need more pillows, and ones which actually have fluff. I was stuck with two flat pancake pillows, and that's hardly enough to be comfortable with a wooden head board. I did not stay in the hotel at all. Upon arrival, I found the place filthy! The carpets and furniture was dirty, as well as the sheets. I did not want to touch ANYTHING! This hotel needs an overhaul quick, and NO ONE should stay here in the interim.

The hotel itself was great. I liked the room and the bed was comfy. Yet the shower in my room did not work. Therefore, I had to pack up everything and move rooms. I had to be transfered to the 4th room (as people occupied the 2nd & 3rd Room I was given/ awkward) before I was able to shower and get ready. We've stayed at this hotel several times over the past five years. Location is close to family; price is comparatively low. Generally, we've had a good experience here. However, the condition of the carpets in both the hallways and rooms has deteriorated to the point that it doesn't deserve a favorable rating. Hallway carpeting had many, large, dark […] stains. The room carpeting didn't appear so bad, but the bottom of my white socks were brown after walking ten feet across the room. Front desk personnel said that carpeting was scheduled to be replaced. Very well kept hotel -- grounds were beautiful and room was better than expected. Easily seen from I-40 but slightly difficult to find. Very well pleased overall, though! Great area for shopping!

it was my birthday weekend, and the comfortness of my hotel stay made it even better.

The staff was rude and the room was not cleaned well. When we were getting ready to check out the front desk clerk entered our room without knocking to ask if we were checking out. There were holes in the floor covered by carpet in the hall on our floor. I stayed at this hotel with a friend to be in between downtown Memphis and some family that lives a little farther out. I knew the part of town it was in was safe...Bartlett is considered a nice suburb of Memphis. We checked in on a Saturday night around 10 pm. It was clear based on the noise and activity that there were some parties going on..this […] is an extended stay hotel with a small kitchen, so it was my impression that younger adults were renting rooms to be able to have parties over the weekends. We noticed when we walked to our room that there were a lot of overflowing trash cans, but realized that it's the weekend and more than likely on Monday everything would be cleaned up. The next morning, we walk to our car only to realize that it had been broken in to..the entire in dash navigation system was stolen. We called the police, and then talked to the hotel staff, who basically told us to fill out a form and talk to a manager (who wouldn't be back until Monday). It was clear they had dealt with this type of issue before. The two women behind the counter were very nonchalant about the whole thing, even though it was clear we were very upset and would have appreciated a little reassurance. It's not a bad hotel, but I HIGHLY suggest making sure there is nothing in your vehicle that would entice someone to break in. There are no cameras watching the lot, and the hotel staff is minimal on the weekends. The room was fine, but I'm not sure I would stay here again, given that it ended up costing more to replace what was stolen than the entire cost of the room for four nights. Just beware. Lisätietoja

when I pulled in it looked really nice but....the lobby floor was dirty... the elevator had food stuck to the floor...I got off on the 3rd floor and the carpet had deep nasty stains. After I got to my room I noticed part of the wall had fallen on to to floor.The kitchen table had food crumbs on it. I called down for a different room and they said they […] didn't have any available. I stayed and in the morning the shower didnt work so i took a bath in the sink. The hair dryer didnt work either. I had to leave early, so when I left I mentioned everything to the attendant and she argued with me . She said the shower was tricky but it worked. needless to say i will never stay here again. The sycamore view location just a few exits down is much better and $20 dollars cheaper. The Microtel is actually the best hotel for the money in the area and they serve breakfast and free internet for the same price as this hotel! Lisätietoja

This hotel had a back door which supposedly opened with a room key (card), but with a yank, the latch let go and we could enter without using a key. Not much security there. Also, we would come out to find a pebble in the door which a person was constantly leaving so the door would not close-even though it didn't really matter. The hot water in the […] kitchen sink could not come out at a normal rate without making a big, constant noise in the pipes. I was able to get the front electric burner working by taking it out and replacing it. The rug was a bit dirty-I'm glad I had slippers to wear in the room- they do allow pets in this place and I did see a dog with its owner upstairs when I was doing laundry. The recliner chair's handle was broken off so no reclining. I asked for another chair to be able to sit at the built in table and that was taken care of immediately. There was not very much in the way of cooking utensils. Only one pot and a colander- good for saimin only.The bicycle in the exercise room was broken. At least the air conditioner/fan did not keep us awake at night and it kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Lisätietoja

Disgusting terrible experience

It was a little confusing to get to bkz you had to make a uturn to get to it off the Interstate, but once there, we were very content. The room was pretty clean, and the beds were pretty comfortable. The only things I didn't like were that we had to pay for wifi and the tv channel selection was pretty unimpressive.

The hotel was extremely dirty including our room. The bedspread and blanket were not clean inlcuding the matress cover. One of the bath towels had black hair all over it so obvious had not been laundered just folded and put out to use. I would not recommend this hotel nor will I ever stay there again. Disgusting!!

I stayed on business with my son and a friend. The room was rather soiled and dirty. it was good for a couple of huys but i wouldn't take my wife there.

I had a hard to finding the location of the hotel even with my GPS system. The room was not available when I arrived but I was accomodated with a larger room at no added expense.

The sheet on the sofa bed was nasty. It was evident it had not been changed in a while, there was food crumbs on it and other stains on it. Plus if the sheet had been clean, there were no other linens for the sofa bed, no top sheet, no blanket, no pillow, etc. Not real sure the sheets on the regular beds had been changed either. Considering we didn't spend much time in the hotel, it was o.k. Our only complaint was that the TV didn't work. The beds were comfy, the air conditioner worked well and it definitely was spacious. Definitely liked the area--close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Probably would stay here again. Front desk person was nice.

this was my worst experience at an Extended Stay. the neighborhood, even though near a huge mall was not great and the staff VERY unfriendly and not helpful at all....just going through the motions.

We had a one room kitchenette. We had to bring our dog and that cost alot. We stayed in a smoking room that allowed pets, which tend to not be as nice. Our room smelled a little stale. My allergies were horrible and I think it was caused from the dirty wall ac. The room seemed very nice on the surface, but the smallest things needed cleaning/repair. […] I would stay again if I did not have my dog and if we could stay in a non-smoking nicer room. This place was pretty nice, they made it like home to be honest. You have all the things that would make this a second home such as a fridge, stove, plates, bowls, forks spoons, and even a dish washer. There was a gas grill next to the pool. By now you can tell this isn't a normal hotel so the price is going to be much different than an average hotel. […] You also are placed smack dab in the middle of all the places you ever wanted to eat at. Most places are less than 2 miles away. There is a Target, BestBuy, Movie Theater, and much more in the general vicinity. What more can you ask for? The extended stay at Wolfchase was much more than expected for the price. The pool was small, but nice. The room had everything I needed and then some. I had lived in Memphis for nearly 5 years so I chose it for the location, which is a nice perk. It is kinda set back and easy to miss, but that adds to the security. The staff was very friendly and always […] available, helpful, and pleasant to deal with.
