Radisson Martinique on Broadway - New York

I staid at this hotel for a conference and found it to be very nice and amazingly reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

Excellent location within walking distance to EVERYWHERE, lovely reasonable size room good size bathroom, clean. Gr8 restaurant & bar. Breakfast full choice, couldn't fault it for price which was reasonable for NYC

Don't go to this hotel if you want to check-in on time!The check-in time was 4:00 pm, and when I tried to check-in at 6:00 pm I was told that unless I took a smoking room, I would have to wait an hour to get my room. Since I am allergic to smoke, the smoking room was not an option for me. I did not get to check-in until 7:10 pm. I had an 8:00 pm dinner […] reservation and ended up being late. I have NEVER had an experience like that. I was told the reason for the late check-in was because they allowed airline employees to check out late because they had a late flight. I've stayed here a number of times, and always like the convenience, staff and room. Great value for the money. The only problem I had recently was that my room wasn't ready when I arrived at 9:30 PM. The hotel staff was very nice about it and offered a few cocktails while I waited. I soon forgot about the problem...

As a tourist there is no better location than at the Radisson, tube station just outside the door and access to everything you need in the surrounding blocks. Smallish room but clean and if you are facing the courtyard dead quiet, apart from that strange american fan invention that goes on and off but you get used it. The room was very clean. The staff at the check-in counter were the friendliest but at least they got the job done.

The hotel is close to a lot of shopping, The Empire State Building, Penn Station if you're traveling by train and plenty of restaurants. We had a small problem with the heater a few hours after check in but it was fixed within 30 minutes and they gave us free breakfast to make up for it. This was my business trip & need to go to Columbus & then back to this hotel after 2 days. As I had 2 luggage & this should be convenient for me to keep 1 in the hotel. However they refuse & said that is their policy but can not show me the paper. I tried to convenience them but over 10 times they mentioned this is their policy. I had a mess checking in, but the rest of the stay was uneventful and exactly what a business stay in a hotel should be. The staff was friendly, though not overly efficient. Location is excellent.Room is not well-equipped. Fridge and in-room safe should be standard.Closet has no door and is TINY. Otherwise the bed is comfortable. Room is clean.

Great location, easy parking across the street, Macy's, Empire State a short walk away, Speedy's yummy breakfast joint right next door. Great place to stay.

Bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Decor attractive and restful. Room was small, but the price was so reasonable compared to other area hotels that I did not mind. Good central location near Times Square and theaters and Rockefeller Center.

A different design from others Radisson locations I have been at, a little bit outdated/old fashioned but this is personal taste. It doesn't impact the cleaness of the room and the nice welcome I received. But I may not come back I rather enjoyed others hotels in NY.

Great hotel, clean rooms, amazing location. BUT... if you make the mistake of forgetting anything in your room (I did: my camera battery and charger) don't ask the guy at Lost and Found to help you because he'll offer any excuse not to do it. A useless human being.

The Hotel has a perfect location, On Broadway and only 15 minutes walk to time square. Friendly and helpful staff and a clean hotel.

I love the location of this hotel. I've stayed here a few times before, and this time was as lovely as all the others. The hotel is nicely decorated, clean, and in a fabulous location. I was treated to a large room on PH1 this time. The room was clean and very spacious, with a desk, couch, coffee table, and dresser in addition to the very comfortable […] bed. I was somewhat disappointed that when I ran the water for my shower, the water was discolored (brown). But I guess it is just old pipes, because it ran clear after about 5 mins of running. So kind of gross at first, but not really even enough to complain about. Really my only complaints with this hotel is that I think for the price you pay, you should get free wireless internet, and for frequent guests, breakfast should be included. Overall, a nice stay. Some day this is going to be a famous hotel. Superior location in a classic building means great potential. They were renovating when I was there and some staff needs customer service polishing, but all factors considered the hotel is priced well (cheap) in a city full of expensive hotels. the doorman was confrontational - demanding to see a key every time i came in. they were evidently conducting a job fair while i was there. unfortunately, i was interviewing job candidates and choose the hotel's restaurant to conduct the interviews. all of my candidates were subjected to a rude attitude and confrontational attitude by the doorman when […] trying to contact me. i'll never choose that hotel to conduct any business. also, the tv didn't work in the room and when i ordered a movie and it didn't work - i called the front desk and they said they would remove the charge from my bill. well, of course they didn't. My last stay at this hotel was in an impossibly small room so I asked the clerk at check-in if it was possible to locate a bigger room on this visit. I had 2 seperate reservation for the stay and he was able to link the reservations and kept me in the same "large" room! Unfortunately, there was an issue with the TV service and it did not work for one […] night during my stay. The toilet also malfunctioned and overflowed. Housekeeping came quickly and did a good job cleaning up and they fixed the toilet. Great location and overall the experience was positive. I enjoyed my stay and the staff were really helpful. It's right near the Union Station and perfect for sightseers and business travel.

This hotel was better than I expected based on other reviews. The room was larger than I expected for the price paid. No, it wasn't a 5-star hotel but I didn't pay for a 5-star hotel. They were great about holding our bags before our room was ready and after check-out until our departure. Very well located hotel close to the fifth avenue.

When we arrived, the folks at the reception desk were friendly and gave us a room right away. The hotel room was small but clean. The shower handle was difficult to operate (my wife needed both hands to turn it and not possible with wet hands). The last day, in the evening, the room was not cleaned. A nice hotel close to shopping.

Great location, 1 block from Penn Station and 1 block from Empire State Building. Mold in the bathroom though, gross! And the last night the AC stopped working.

I would recommend the Radisson Martinque on Broadway in New York City. Everything was clean and neat, service was good, and the hotel was in excellent shape. Not a thing out of place. All the employees were coureoutous. The door hop was very helpful with out bags as we proceeded to leave at the end of our day. The only thing that was a disappointment […] was the fact that I booked a room with a queen sized bed and our room had a double bed. Not an easy way to sleep when your husband is a big guy. Everything about my hotel experience was good, except I could hear the people next door to me who woke me up every morning at 6:30. Other than that, everything was fine. Furnishings were nice, staff was good, location is central to Manhattan's attractions, and I did not think the room size was too small--I've been in smaller hotel rooms.

Excellent location, close to Time Square,Empire State Building, Macy's, and subway next to hotel. felt very safe whilst in New York, easy to get round. Hotel very good very clean and tidy, you get a lot of flight crews staying here including the pilots.

This is a great hotel in a great location (in Koreatown), 2 blocks from the Empire State Bldg. and Macys and an 8-block walk to Times Square. Arrived at 11:00 AM and asked if it was possible to check-in early. The desk said they would have our room ready by 2:00. We went to a show and returned at 6:00 PM to be told that our room was not ready. 7:30 PM before we got into our room. Five and one half hours after we were told it would be ready. Ended up late for our 8:00 show.
