Desert Rose Inn - Benson

I have nothing to complain about this hotel. It was a very nice room. Breakfast had a lot of choises and very good. I would recomend anyone to stay here.

Booked here based on other reviews and was not disappointed. The whole place seemed fresh and new. I don't know if they recently remodeled or just maintain the place well. The staff were great. The breakfast included scrambled eggs and bacon on top of the usual continental fare. We didn't want to leave.

This is a nice, clean hotel and is near the Kartchener Caverns. The staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the Desert Rose Inn, AZ.

Got a good rate for a night's stay after flying into Tucson late on a Friday evening. Clean, comfy room was perfect for a quick night before taking off again in the morning to Bisbee. The breakfast options were pretty decent, however my only suggestion would be to bulk up the fruit offerings. I'd definitely stay again & recommend to friends!

The location was good especially if you have teenagers we had the convenience of fast foods & service stations within walking distance. They had areas to walk around the premises. We were comfortable enough with the area to let the girls walk on their own. The rooms were especially very comfortable I loved the pillows. Other than initially not being able to find our Hotels.com reservation, this was a really nice stay. Super clean everywhere, friendly staff and good value.

My wife , son and myself had never heard of this hotel and were going to make a trip to Kartchner caverns and needed a place to stay the night . The hotel is in a great location right off the I-10 on a hill . The hotel itself was very nice , the room was excellent , check in easy and we were greeted well . One of the nicest hotels, at any price, we've ever stayed in. Beautifully decorated, clean, well-maintained and friendly, helpful staff. All this and a really good breakfast every morning, a fire pit by the swimming pool to sit next to in the evening and fresh-baked cookies at 4:00 every afternoon.

My husband and I weren't quite sure what we would be walking into, but we really liked this hotel very much. The rooms were clean and the decor was great without being tacky ....Western theme. The bed was very comfortable and it was restful and quiet during the night. Everyone on the staff was nice and helpful and the breakfast was pretty darn good. […] We would stay there again. The hotel that we stayed at was a good place to stay but not close to the area that we wanted to see except for the Kartchner Caverns. The only problem that we had was - the water for a shower and bath was only just warm. The reception said they would have fixed it had they known otherwise good place to stay.

Cleaniest hotel I have ever stayed in any place in the world! [Even 5 star rated resorts]. Not a hair, piece of lint or dust anywhere. The staff members where cheerful and went out of their way to assist. I was walking with two cups of coffee and an employee greeted me cheerfully and said she would accompany me to my room to open my door for me. Great […] price, clean, quiet and cheerful staff. Day loop trips to many southeastern locations in AZ very convenient. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every aspect of it. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. What a wonderful place to stay! We were warmly greeted by Sandy. We checked in early, although Sandy gave us two rooms that were cleaned. Barb is the breakfast lady. My twins loved her cooking and she was tickled pink when they told her. The breakfast is great~ eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal, and fresh pastries. Need more tables for continental breakfast. Would not return jeans left behind. We need to contact UPS and pre-pay even tho we gave them credit card #, etc. to return without us going thru the hassle.

I stayed here 2 nights in a row. One night with my groomsmen and the second with my new wife. The staff was extremely friendly and nice! I will deffinately stay there again.

Great hotel. Everyone was great. Hotel is up to date, clean, quiet and comfortable. I loved it!

We always look forward to our stays at Desert Rose,and our visits to Tombstone and the surrounding area.The western decor is a nice touch in this age of plain vanilla accomodations. The applefarm restaurant down the hill in Benson has a nice small town feel.

Stayed in this hotel as it was in close proximity to all the sights we wanted to see in Southern Arizona. Must say, was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel/guest room/pool area. The kids really enjoyed the heated pool even though the outside temperature was only 60 degrees. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful decor, friendly staff, decent breakfast, only down side was the water did not get hot.

Would definitely stay here again. Convenient location. Welcoming staff. Clean. Complimentary breakfast served. Cookies and juice in the afternoon a bit hit with the kids. Perfect place for the purpose we needed it for.

Very comfortable hotel with all the necessary amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and in good working order. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others.

This is not an area with great choices of places to stay so to find what I consider 4+ star accommodations here in the middle of nowhere was a great surprise and pleasure.

My girlfriend and I met some friends in Benson and ended up staying here to sober up before driving back to Phoenix. The hotel was quiet and clean, and the staff was polite. We'd definitely stay here again.

Your hotel was very nice,the property could use some improvments. The staff was kind and helpful .The room had a musty smell,even after we sprayed it.The construction on the highway didn't make things easier,but over all I would rate your hotel a four star. Thsnk You

Very friendly. Check in efficient and prompt. Room was very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was a little weak but tolerable. Overall the hotel was clean, comfortable and very pleasant.

Looking at the motels near Benson, Arizona -- the Desert Rose seemed to offer a bit better accomodations at a slightly higher price. This is pretty much what we found. The motel had formerly been a Holiday Inn Express and the rooms, lobby, and breakfast room were pretty much as expected. The free breakfast buffet offered scrambled eggs, cereals, bagels, […] orange juice, coffee. While a wider selection would have been welcome, my main issue was that the bagels were pretty much cardboard and the scrambled eggs (evidently) had been made from pre-packaged "eggbeaters". Cooked well, but almost no taste. While convenient to Interstate 10 and Highway 90 at their intersection, the hotel is set back from the main roads a bit and provides some beautiful scenery towards all horizons. An accompanying restaurant is now closed -- economic times have hurt everyone. Personally, I'd stay there a night for its convenience - but a longer stay would probably be better in Sierra Vista or the Fort Huachuca area. Lisätietoja

Friendly staff and clean room. Highly recommended. However, I am not a friend of southwestern decoration. Overall, it is a good place to stay overnight.

The hotel was nice enough, the staff was friendly. Benson is just not a well developed town. There was nowhere for my to watch my football game. The hotel didn't have a bar and there just wasn't anywhere to go. I was told the closest place was in Sierra Vista 30 miles away. I was pleasantly surprised when I first drove up. The front of the hotel is very welcoming though it is located just of a main highway. The main entrance has a very nice western look and the staff welcome me warmly. I was told there were fressh cookies every afternoon, bad for the waistline but good for the soul. I was a little disappointed that the […] breakfast was really a continental breakfast. It was a nice set up though with cereal, bagels, boiled eggs, fruit, etc. The room was nice and clean. The linen was fresh, the bathroom clean. I was a great surprised to see a LCD television on the wall which gave that little bit of extra room. A small refrigerator and microwave was a nice addition to the room if you want to keep some small snack foods/drinks during your stay. There was also a coffee maker but I don't cofee. They do have a small gym with two treadmills, a stairclimber, a workout center and a television. One of the treadmills was broken during my stay but the other items where just fine for a workout. My only real complaint was the hotel did not have internet access in any of the rooms, hardwire or wi-fi, when I stayed. I was on a business trip and that was a big deal for me. They did have a business center in the lobby but that is not what I was looking for since aI have accessories that I need to work with my computer. I was told they would have it about a week after I checked out. So I would walk down to the McDonald's with my laptop to check email and grab a bite to eat. Over all this was a nice hotel, pleasant staff, easy to find location (just off of I-10). I would recommend it if you don't mind traveling a few extra minutes to get anywhere. The hotel was very nice and well kept. The staff was friendly and the price was good. My only complaint is that the bed was slightly uncomfortable. Also the "breakfast buffet" was a regular continetail breakfast not buffet

This hotel is what all hotels should look at as the benchmark of genuine hospitality and comfort decor fits it's community, Glad it not like a generic bland hotel you see so often on your trips across the America, but a bit of America.
