We enjoyed our overnight stay and couldn't speak highly enough of the obliging staff we met. It was a well placed hotel and the double glazed windows eliminated any noise from the street.

Location Location Location!!! Modern very tidy motel right in Hindley street...The heart of Adelaide CBD. Fantastic staff...very friendly and helpful. Friendly staff and big rooms. Very nice breakfast. Near the shopping mile and easy to go to the tram station. PERFECT!

Nice and big room but rest of hotel was less than I expected for the price - really 3 star. Area is very noisy at night with bars and dodgy nighclubs across the road. Handy to university of SA but a bit of a stroll to the nicer part of the city.

Very friendly staff and very good service. It is very convenient as it is located in the center of the city. So close to shops and bus stops/train stations. Good value for money. Will be definitely coming back.

Had a great stay everything was perfect

Great hotel in centre of Adelaide. Room was very comfortable. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very expensive but otherwise a great place to stay!

Hotel staff were very helpful with finding local businesses and setting up transportation or making recommendations. Located close to large shopping area, an awesome zoo, and St. Peter's Cathedral which is truly a must-see if you want to see ornate and historical architecture. I stayed at the Rockford Adelaide on a work trip, and found it to be a lovely hotel and extremely good value for money, when most hotels are completely overpriced nowadays! The Rockford was one of the cheaper options but certainly didnt reflect that in the standard. I stayed in a King Room, which was beautiful and extremely comfortable. Staff were very […] helpful - one night there was no parking available when we had pre paid our parking for the stay, so they gave me a staff permit to park behind the building and also refunding that nights parking fees. We stayed here seven nights (Jan/Feb 2011). The hotel is wonderful! It's clean, modern, well appointed. The staff is friendly. Ate once in the restaurant and it was good food and well presented by friendly staff. Location is great -- walk a block to the city tram, or a short distance in the other direction to the free bus, or three minutes to Rundle […] Street Mall. Previous reviews complained of street noise from nightlife establishments. We experienced none of that even though we were on the first floor facing the street. Hotel has solved that problem by placing a second glass wall in front of the existing one. It creates a dead space of about 4 inches that 'captures the noise.' Stayed at the Rockford for 5 nights with my family. Rooms very clean and comfortable and staff very friendly and accommodating. We stayed over the Australia Day week and had an amazing view of the fireworks from our balcony. Even though the hotel is on busy Hindley street we couldn't hear any noise from outside. Very noisy, couldn't sleep at night! Very weird neighbourhood, lots of nightclubs and sex shops.... staff was friendly but not efficient. We asked for morning call but they never called. We asked the reception to book a traxi and no taxi....that's just too bad!

Recommended, but with reservations. Actually, checking in with Tilly ? was a six star experience. She went out of her way to provide suggestions for meals, tours and best deals on internet usage and on and on. Even though this is a relatively moderate size hotel with its share of counter traffic, staff always found time to provide this level of extraordinary […] assistance to all guests, without seeming to keep anyone waiting. I've staying in five star hotels all over the world for 35 years and i don't remember a single instance of better, more professional, friendly or attentive service. If I were the owner, I'd grant stock to these front counter people, as they intuitively understand the hospitality business. After four days, I was reluctant to leave. Too bad, then, that management does not trust their superb front office staff with a backup laser jet print cartridge that would have allowed those of us with the need to print important business documents to do so. Instead, staff sheepishly reported that it would take management five to seven days to replace a simple, standard HP LaserJet cartridge for the business center guest printer!!! Sadly, it was obvious that some clueless bean counter did not entrust their superb front office staff to use their own (superior) judgment to fix this extremely minor problem. So each evening, I walked a fair distance over to the Intercontinental Hotel for a glass of wine and to print my documents. Nice large room but a bit old fashionned. Very noisy, rooms either face the big traffic road or the main street with a very active night life....

大堂的服务员还是比较热情的。但是对酒店的设施不敢恭维，应该是一个老酒店一直没重新装修，原来的水壶坏了，给我换的一个虽然能用，但是老旧的一塌糊涂。抽水马桶的按钮是坏了，一直漏水。边上就是阿德莱德的酒吧一条街，朋友给我说那里周末晚上会比较混乱一些。好在阿德莱德的CBD地区不大，走过几条马路就是了。

室内は近代的で広く、Wベッド2台と大型テレビがあり快適。空港バスの順路にあり、市内交通も至便で朝食付き宿泊料金はお値打ち。大通りに面し周囲は繁華街で、コンビニも近いが、部屋によってはうるさいかもしれない。駐車場は期待できず、近くの駐車場を紹介してくれ、一部費用を負担してくれる。クーラーの騒音が大きいのが難点。

Close to airport (15mins by taxi). The facilities are being updated, and rooms look new and are clean. Staff at reception were very friendly and ready to help. There was some renovation work going on 3rd floor, and minor noises were heard. But it was still bearable.
